Easy set up, love the screen, keyboard and mouse. I did get an email from Best Buy a few days after the purchase that came with 3 months free of Microsoft 365 but the code wouldn’t work and the Best Buy customer service didn’t want to help. Other than that the computer itself is amazing

Excellent desktop. Never had acer computer before and I am impressed. It is modern and sleek. Glad I chose this over a laptop. It has not failed to complete any task I needed to do. It has a Large screen with clear picture. Love the touch screen feature. Webpages videos and games load fast and never have any glitches or errors. It was simple and fast to set up and connect to the mouse keyboard and my printer and it is easy to use, my young kids have no trouble using it as well thanks to the touch screen! Overall 10/10 highly recommend purchasing.

This ASUS All-In-One desktop PC does a good job of proving that it could be your go-to computer for daily tasks. Since this was my first experience with ASUS, the packaging and unboxing were my first impressions of this tech company. Inside the box, the PC was held in place with high-quality foam, the kind that doesn't break down immediately and crumble onto your floor. While this is a minor detail, it gave me a good feeling that I was about to unbox a well-made device. With the computer came a keyboard (with a numerical keypad), a mouse, and warranty and instruction paperwork. The keyboard and mouse both came with their required batteries, so I didn't have to go searching for them. While the keyboard is fairly average, it does have a decent slant that provides some height to assist with typing, and the keys have a nice sense of travel when you use them. The mouse is also average and has left/right buttons and a scroll wheel. To link the mouse to the PC, it includes a wireless USB plug that goes directly into the back of the ASUS. I plan on using these included components, but they would be very easy to replace if they’re not your style. The ASUS All-In-One A3402T comes with 3 standard USB ports, 1 USB-C port, 2 USB 2.0 ports, as well as 2 HDMI ports (In and Out) and a LAN port. While the majority of the build is high-quality plastic, the base of the ASUS is a beautiful aluminum that feels great. As this is an “All in one” computer, all of the hardware is contained behind the display, meaning this device won’t take up much room on your desk or table. I should note that to adjust the screen, you can only tilt the display up or down. While some may wish for height adjustment, I found the screen to sit at a natural height that is comfortable to use while I sit at my desk. Setting up the PC was easy, and it took about a half hour for me to be on the home screen of my new computer. The settings section states that this PC is using the 12th generation Intel i5 Processor running at 1.3 GHz, with 8 gigs of RAM, and a 256 gig SSD. These specs have been absolutely great for running everyday programs like Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and TurboTax, which run quickly with no hiccups. On websites like YouTube, the ASUS hasn't had any issues with streaming at high-quality settings. Windows 11 is a noticeable upgrade from previous versions I’ve used, and it runs so well on this computer. I have a feeling that for most common applications, this PC would be a great choice. However, if you're looking to do heavy-duty video editing or music production, this probably wouldn't be your first pick. Additionally, I do not think that this would be a good choice for a gaming PC, though I suspect it could play some less demanding titles. Still, I will definitely be using this computer for schoolwork, office work, browsing the web, and watching streaming content. One feature that I surprisingly loved was the full touchscreen of the 24-inch display. I've gone back and forth between using the mouse and simply touching icons on the screen, and the response time is phenomenal – it really feels like you’re using a high-end tablet or phone in that regard. I don't know if it has a fingerprint-resistant coating, but I haven't noticed too many smudges on the matte-style screen (which is nice). Speaking of the screen, that is about the only real downside I have noticed on this otherwise excellent ASUS. Despite having great brightness, and reasonably high contrast with a 1080p display, the picture on this model just does not look as sharp or vivid as many modern displays tend to. While most videos do look good with a 60hz refresh rate, this will simply not compare to something with 4k resolution and a higher refresh rate. Some colors look better than others, and overall, the image quality is just not as striking as I’d hoped it would be. That being said, this PC is not branding itself as having the absolute best picture quality, so I cannot fault it for being slightly lackluster. Still, the experience of using this PC feels so high-end, and the image on the screen can ultimately make that feeling fall a bit short. I tested the webcam quality with Zoom, and the picture was just “okay”. However, this might not be the webcam's fault, as I have had issues with Zoom's picture quality in the past. The speakers sound pretty good with any music that doesn’t emphasize the bass frequencies, with a nice amount of detail and clarity. While the sound quality is surprisingly good, the volume doesn’t get very loud, but thankfully it doesn’t distort (even at full blast). Basically, it's good enough if you want to listen to music or watch movies but probably couldn't get loud enough to entertain during a party. If you’re looking for a desktop PC that can handle all of your daily tasks and doesn’t take up too much space, then the ASUS All-In-One should definitely be considered. The list of things this computer gets right is extremely long, and only a few things could be improved upon in my opinion. ASUS has created an awesome AIO that I’m looking forward to using as my go-to computer for both work and entertainment purposes.

It takes up the space that just a monitor would for desktop systems. Making all in ones a nice alternative for those not wanting to deal with having a separate computer case, screen and cables - and where your computer doesn’t need to be mobile. This unit is very functional supporting light gaming but would be excellent for students Office processing and streaming needs. I would recommend as I found it easy to use and is probably upgradeable, but I have not tried to open it up – yet. Setting up was very easy and has minimal packing. It comes with a 2-part 8-foot cord with a small inline brick – just plug it into back of screen. There is a USB 2 connection bottom right of base which is convenient to use for USB keyboard and mouse connection. I had issues with my previous AIO were using USB connector on back lead to less-than-optimal connection to keyboard/mouse. Then just turn on and it walks you thru setup – and after numerous windows 11 home updates, I was finally ready to use. This unit’s design doesn’t break any new ground, but it is pleasantly sleek and the provided keyboard (while a tad small - has full keys) and mouse are functional, but no on/off switch on mouse (in case storing/traveling). The Intel® Core™ i5-1235U Processor 1.3 GHz (12M Cache, up to 4.4 GHz, 10 cores) and 8GB DDR4 SO-DIMM (4 x 2) allows for decent processing power but using only built in Intel UHD graphics it only supports light gaming but should be more than adequate for most all other processing needs. The anti-glare (works well) 24-inch 19020 x 1080P touch screen with 8-bit color 250nits supports SDR while doing processing but will support HDR (300 nits minimum) if streaming – which is a tad disappointing, but colors are vivid. Also, the screen only tips to adjust angle – it does not adjust up/down for height. Touch works well and screen has very little bezel. I was able to view screen even when almost 90% to the side. There was virtually no “cware” to get rid of. MyAsus app is used to check for updates, system maintenance, etc. but I didn’t think was very intuitive to use. The 250GB M.2 NVMe PCIe 3.0 SSD drive is a tad small as once I had everything installed, I was left with only 77GB available and that was before copying over 30GB in music. I wound up moving music to a USB thumb drive. According to speccy drive is WD SV530 SDBPNPZ-256G-1002. Drive is fast as noted in my attached pic. In researching it appears there may or may not be a 2nd HDD slot. If I open this up to upgrade SSD I will find out. There are 3 USB 3.2 ports, 1 USB 2.0 port and 1 USBC 3.2 port on the back. Of course, having these connections on back can at times make them difficult to access. There is one HDMI 1.4 in and 1 HDMI 1.4 out also on the back. The HDMI in allows screen to be used as a standard monitor maybe for viewing input from a phone, disk player, cable box, etc. Out of course would allow for adding 2nd monitor. There is a mode button on bottom right that will switch to/from HDMI in Unit has wi-fi 6 (802.11ax – dual band). I have a mesh 11.ax wifi system and this unit connected using 11.ax at 350Mbps down and 33Mbps upload. This matches what I attain using wired ethernet for my just built desktop. It does have a gigabit ethernet port on back as well. Bluetooth 5.2 – great for using headphones or connecting keyboard/mouse. Camera is only 720P, but it is at the top of the screen with microphones on either side of camera. I don’t plan on using the camera and as such am dis-appointed it doesn’t have a manual slide to cover the lens for security. Speakers are at the bottom and as with most units - not fabulous. But if you use the Dolby settings you can tune them so it’s not too painful use. I could not get the Realtek Audio Center to connect to RPC. I tried uninstalling the Realtek devices and re-installing but that didn’t work – but has on other machines. I have found Realtek app is better than Dolby. Has dual purpose headphone/external microphone jack. It is energy star certified and comes with 1 year warranty The BB description of unit indicates on there is a card reader, but I could not find it and its listed as an option on manufacturer site. It is very quiet to use, and its black/silver design is sleek. It is not going to break any processing marks and the 720P camera, onboard UHD graphics and non-HDR screen could all be better but if you are in the market for a computer with very small footprint to use for school or streaming this is worth a look and would recommend.

This is a great family computer for anyone to use. I would highly recommend it as a secondary computer for anyone to use in a home office, or school setting. Let's start with the good parts: - Has an NVME drive (WD SN530), which is really fast and responsive. - i5-1235U is a good performer - Wireless keyboard and mouse included, and is of good quality - Speakers are loud and have good definition - Screen is good quality - Touch screen! - Has HDMI input, so can function as a secondary monitor for something like a streaming box in a small room. - Silent In the past few days of using this as a general computer, with email, Zoom calls, and productivity tasks, this computer works great. Better than a basic computer, but not quite in the "powerhouse" territory. It is super quick and very responsive - the speakers are nice! I played Spotify all day long the other day on this computer and it was a pleasant experience. Having a touch screen is a nice touch (ha!), but I never found myself reaching for the screen. The metal base is very heavy, so it is very stable and doesn't feel cheap at all, and you can still tilt the display for better viewing if needed. There is a convenient headphone jack and USB 2.0 port on the lower right for connecting dongles (such as the one for the included mouse/keyboard, which was included inside the mouse) and wired headphones. The device is silent (even during heavy workloads, you can barely hear the fan), and the myASUS app is a nice piece of software that isn't bloated or awkwardly designed - allows you to configure the device, check for updates, everything that you'd need. Now let's get to the OK / could use improvement: - Webcam is only 720p, and is noisy - 8GB of RAM is soldered on, and cannot be replaced - The NVME drive, while fast, is cache-less, meaning that sustained high throughput tasks will eventually slow down My only major gripe is the 8GB of RAM. With Windows 11 and the NVME drive, everything feels very snappy in normal day to day tasks. My worry is moreso that the 8GB of RAM may not be enough later on, when newer OSes/updates come out, or if a heavier duty need is required. I have taken this device apart to see the upgradability, and options are very limited - there is an actual SATA connector, but no actual way to attach a drive to it because there is no supporting bracket. The NVME drive is on the other side of the motherboard, which is surrounded by a large metal cage (for rigidity and protection, I'm sure). In summary, as I stated in the beginning, this is a great all in one for people looking for a general purpose computer, be it for school, work, or something else. If you plan on doing any heavy duty tasks, however, I would recommend the upgraded version of this model for a better experience.

Summary: With its razor-thin bezels and an attractive stand, this Asus all-in-one PC is a stylish way to include a desktop-type PC on your desk without taking up much space. The built-in web cam and touch screen make it suitable for nearly any task. You can even add another monitor or use this PC’s monitor as a screen for something else by plugging an external device such as a game system, Bluray/DVD player or streaming stick into the HDMI ports. Pros: * Crisp, clear full HD screen with an anti-glare coating. * Razor-thin bezels keep the unit as small as possible. * Use it any way you like with the touch screen, full-size wireless keyboard with shortcut keys and wireless optical mouse. * Plenty of ports for USB-A and -C, headphone jack, HDMI IN/OUT and even wired ethernet. * Great built-in speakers and microphones. * Fast and capable. Cons: * Stand is not removable and no VESA mount for wall or monitor arm mounting. * Webcam is OK but not great. * No optical drive but mostly isn’t needed anymore. * Minimal upgrade capability. Setup: There are basically 4 items in the box; the wireless keyboard and mouse, the power adapter and the main unit. Setup was really fast and easy. The keyboard and mouse both have batteries already inserted and you just need to remove the plastic bits that keep the batteries from draining in shipment. The mouse has a pre-paired USB dongle inside that you plug in to the back of the PC. The power adapter is nice and small (all things considered) and it has a right-angle plug that fits in the back of the PC. Once you get the single power cord plugged in and the keyboard/mouse dongle connected, just press the power button on the back-right of the screen and walk through Windows 11 setup. That’s it! The whole process including OS updates took less than 15 minutes for me. I won’t comment on Windows 11 as it’s pretty much the same across brands, but there was a point in the process where the PC gets registered with ASUS automatically which was nice. Usage: For me, this all-in-one replaces an older all-in-one PC made by a competitor. It has the same size screen but the overall device is significantly smaller due to smaller bezels and downward-firing speakers. While most of the parts are black plastic including the keyboard and mouse, the PC’s stand is solid metal and looks really nice. You can even store the keyboard on that stand when it’s not in use to save more desktop space. The provided wireless optical mouse is basic but gets the job done; no extra buttons but the scroll wheel is useful. I haven’t been using the keyboard and mouse long enough to estimate their battery life but they both use standard disposable batteries which should be easy to find when it’s time to replace them. The keyboard has helpful shortcut keys for everything from volume and media playback to brightness and other things but is not backlit. The screen is really stable on that metal stand so if you choose to poke the touchscreen the unit won’t wobble. The screen itself is bright and clear with an anti-glare coating that helps reduce reflections. The built-in webcam at the top of the screen is OK for day-to-day use but is not fantastic. There is a small LED next to the camera that lights up when the camera is on, but there is no mechanical cover to prevent the camera for seeing things when it is supposedly off. The built-in speakers are at the bottom edge of the screen and aim downward at the desk. They sound remarkably good for their size and will probably be satisfactory for standard sized rooms and for all but the most discerning audiophiles. There is a standard 3.5mm headphone jack under the right side of the screen for connecting external audio or headphones. Also on the bottom edge is a USB-A port for convenient temporary connections such as phones, cameras or other devices so you don’t need to reach around the back. Another great feature of this PC are the HDMI-IN and HDMI-OUT jacks. You can connect an external monitor for your PC to the HDMI-OUT jack, and the HDMI-IN jack lets you use the screen and speakers of your PC for another device such as a game system, DVD/Bluray player or a set-top box. There is a “mode” button on the bottom edge of the screen to switch input modes between the Windows PC part and the external device. When on Input mode, the Windows PC is not used at all and the screen and speakers just connect to whatever is plugged in to that HDMI port. The PC can still perform tasks in the background if you want, but you’ll be watching and listening to whatever is plugged in to the HDMI-IN port instead. For those with real security concerns, there’s also a Kensington Lock port on the left side so you can cable the PC to a desk and keep it from walking away ;-) The specs on this PC are more than adequate for normal everyday use. There’s enough RAM to keep Windows from slowing down often and the SSD storage is fast for storing frequently-used local stuff. You’ll probably want to plug in a larger external drive if you like saving lots of audio, photos or video locally, though. My only disappointment that cannot easily be worked around is that the stand is not removable and there are no VESA mounting holes on the back of the screen. This means that this PC will only ever sit on a desk and cannot be mounted on the wall or attached to a monitor arm. If that’s not a dealbreaker for you, then this PC will probably meet your needs quite well. Conclusion: A well-rounded and stylish all-in-one PC with a small presence on your desk, a nice touch screen, good audio and convenient HDMI input mode. The bundled wireless keyboard and mouse work well for basic use and there are plenty of ports on the back and under the screen for connectivity and expansion. Overall, a really nice all-in-one unit for those would want a bit more capability than a laptop can provide yet don’t need a huge tower PC sitting on their desk.

    A Great Family Computer

I generally rely on a laptop that I take back and forth from work to home. As a matter of fact, just about everyone in my family relies on a laptop that we transport back and forth to work or school. I thought it might be time for us to have a central desktop that we all could use to do quick lookups, email replies, or work items. This all-in-one from ASUS seemed to tick all the boxes. It doesn’t take up a lot of space, it’s quick for our use, and the touchscreen is a great bonus. Setup was straightforward. The only hiccup I had was forgetting to remove the plastic from between the batteries in the keyboard and mouse. That was on me. The rest of the setup was very straightforward. One thing that I appreciated also was that the setup doesn’t require you to login to your Microsoft account. Instead, you just create a general profile. After, if you decide to you can always log in to connect your Microsoft services to the desktop. It took less than 30 minutes to have everything setup, including making sure that all the Windows updates were installed. After, it was ready to get to work. I have this setup in our office/gaming room so anyone in the family has quick access to it. Its small footprint keeps the desk area pretty clutter free, and the wireless mouse and keyboard can be easily stowed away when you are not using it. We really appreciate the 24” screen coming from using mainly laptop screens ranging from 14-16” it’s nice to have the extra real estate. Performance is what you’d expect from looking at the spec sheet. The i5 processor, 8GB of RAM, and 256GB SSD all make this a speedy computer when used for office/schoolwork. Multiple tabs open in Chrome or Edge have no noticeable effect on performance. Weaving between browser and Office apps to get work done is speedy. If you decide to watch a few videos on YouTube, or your other favorite streaming service the quality of the video looks great on this screen. I wouldn’t consider using this for serious gaming, you are missing a dedicated GPU, but for most tasks this is more than enough. This is great for anyone looking for an office type of workhorse at home. The screen is large enough that you could even use it to consume some content. If you are looking for something to do some light photo editing, or video editing this can handle the basic stuff. If you are more advanced user looking for something to game on or work with more advanced photo/video editors than you might want to keep looking for something with a little more power. For most families, this is an easy recommendation.

I got this Asus all-in-one (AIO) computer to replace another AIO that still works OK, but is getting old. My husband will be the primary user and he has limited space on his desk, so an all-in-one configuration is perfect. The Asus AIO was incredibly easy to set up. The stand comes attached - so no trying to figure out how to put it together or worrying that the stand will fall off. The keyboard and mouse are both wireless. It has a touchscreen, a camera and a microphone. The full HD 24 inch screen has very little lost viewing area around the edges. I'm more of a mouse than a touchscreen person but the touchscreen has come in handy when I wanted to show my husband how to navigate to his favorite sites. On the back there are 3 USB 3.2, one USB 2.0, 2 HDMI, 1 LAN port and 1 USB 3.2 type C. There is no SD card slot, which could be a negative. I have one on my primary PC so that's not a deal breaker for me. The cords come with Velcro wraps to easily keep the excess out of the way The hardest part of the set up was getting the plastic wrap off the mouse battery. There is no on/off switch on the mouse which seems unusual. An on/off button isn’t essential, but there are times when it comes in handy. It is very easy to open the mouse to change batteries - unlike some brands that I’ve tested. The keyboard batteries are cleverly hidden and it took me a little bit to find them. The keyboard and mouse worked from the minute I turned the computer on. I’ve used other computers where the mouse wouldn’t work unless it was wired - or if wireless, installed in settings after the initial set up process was completed. They both connect with one dongle. When I installed a larger mouse that my husband prefers, I removed the Asus dongle since I’d connected both the keyboard and mouse by Bluetooth. But even though it showed as a connected device in settings, the keyboard would not work without the dongle. It could just be that I have to do something additional in Windows 11. There is no Windows 10 option and this is my first forced Windows 11 experience. There is no height adjustment but the screen does tilt - which helps. The height is a problem for me when using the camera because it only shows me from the nose up. Since I can’t lower the desktop camera, I have to tilt the screen way down or put pillows on the chair. The video quality is good but words typed in a document (like this one) seem a little fuzzy. The sound quality is fine for watching videos or listening to music. I am a little concerned about the storage space. It has a 256 GB SSD with 237 usable GB. I haven’t installed anything except Chrome, and today I only have 172 GB of storage left. That’s probably enough, but it is a little concerning. This isn’t the speediest computer in the world, but it does just fine for what it’s being used for. My husband looks at social media, searches for things for sale and plays a few games. I will use it as a backup or when I need 2 devices. It would be hard to find a better every-day-use computer that is this compact and easy to set up.

Great Family AIO PC for the Kitchen or Office

The ASUS - A3402T 24'' Touch-Screen All-In-One - Intel I5-1235U - 8GB Memory - 256GB Solid State, is the perfect family computer for everyday use. The Asus A3402T AIO is a compact PC that doesn't take up too much space and is perfect for those who don't have the room for a big PC tower. The ASUS A3402T 24in comes with an okay keyboard and mouse combo but I would highly recommend upgrading the mouse to something more ergonomic, because it's not the most comfortable mouse to use for those with bigger hands. The touch screen on the ASUS A3402T 24' is very responsive and works just like your smartphone when it comes to interacting with apps and websites, where you can zoom in and out by pinching or pressing down with two fingers which allows you to bring up the right click like on a mouse. The specs on this AIO are serviceable with an Intel i5 12 gen CPU which is more than enough for daily tasks. The RAM only being 8 GB is kind of a let down where with several Chrome tabs open you will be pushing its limits. ( I personally feel that 16GB should be standard going forward with any PC or laptop being built.) The 256 GB SSD is on the smaller size and if storing family photos or videos you can fill that up very fast and will need to invest in an external Storage drive. (But there's always cloud storage options.) The AIO comes with a good amount of ports on the back with 2x HDMI ports if you want to add some extra monitors, 4x USB 2.0 ports and 1x USB-C port and an ethernet port. It comes with wifi 6 so you will be able to get great speeds over wifi if you have a high speed internet connection. The built in webcam on this is a standard 720p cam built in and will get the job done for any video call. One of the main downsides of this AIO out of the box is the amount of bloatware that ASUS has running on this machine with over 14 different processes running in the background. So, I recommend uninstalling some of those to free up some CPU and RAM, because you don't need those in order to use this PC. Overall I see the ASUS A3402T 24' as a great AIO for families that want a PC that doesn't take up too much space and will be used for casual internet browsing and everyday tasks.

Asus produces some of the best computer components on the market. This is mainly due to the experience they have accumulated over the decades and it shows. I have owned motherboards, optical drives, notebooks and more from Asus since the late 90's. So, when I saw this All-in-one, I had high expectations. The box contains everything you need to get started. The first impression was a very good one, as the unit looks and feels sturdy and well built. Asus didn't skimp on the quality of the components and the overall design is great. Even the wireless mouse and keyboard are nice and responsive. The initial setup was easy and I had the PC boot into Windows 11 within about 15-20 minutes. The touchscreen is a nice bonus, but I'm not a big fan of fingerprints on my screen. The monitor itself runs in FHD (1080p) and the colors are OK. The connectivity it offers is good, even though I would have liked some more USB plugs (note that it sports a Type-C connector). Two HDMI connectors allow for some room to expand your workspace if needed. An Ethernet connector is available which allows for a better internet connection than WiFi. Bluetooth is included as well. Now, when it comes to the "guts", you need to know that AIOs are usually meant for office tasks, light entertainment and browsing. Asus chose a low mid-range i5 CPU from Intel which works perfectly fine for such a PC. On the other hand, 8 gigs of RAM and a 256 gig SSD are really restrictive for any other tasks. I would even have traded the touchscreen for a bigger SSD and maybe some more RAM (as it is shared with the Intel's integrated GPU). You can upgrade both RAM and SSD later on if you feel the PC is getting sluggish. The bottom line: Asus has done well with this AIO. It looks sharp and offers enough power for most tasks. As I mentioned above, the amount of memory and storage are a bit on the light side, but enough for everyday use. It's a good PC and I recommend it.

ASUS - A3402T 24'' Touch-Screen All-In-One This ASUS All-In-One is my first desktop for I acquired in decades and I do think it is a fine computer. It is equipped with an I-5 processor and eight gigabytes of RAM which more than adequate for most of the work I do. It also came equipped with a 260 GB SD drive. One thing nice is you can always add storage externally in various ways if more disk is needed. It also is supplied with 4 USB ports, 2 HDMI ports and an Ethernet port, all located on the back of the machine. The display is a glorious 24 inch beauty and is the center of attraction with this unit. The keyboard seems to be a standard size and is battery operated. The keys don't light up. The keyboard seems to feel kind of cheap but it does come with a number pad, which is nice/ The mouse is standard battery powered and does not support Bluetooth. All in all I think is a nice work PC. The keyboard and mouse could be easily replaced if desired. And I Have to admit it will take a while for me to get used to a desktop computer again. i

I absolutely love my new - 'ASUS - A3402T 24'' Touch-Screen All-In-One - Intel I5-1235U - 8GB Memory - 256GB' and I definitely give it a 5 star review! It is what I was looking for. All in one without a doubt and very easy to set up and use. I love that it does not take up a lot of space and that it runs smooth. I use it for basic everyday tasks and also love to watch movies and you tube clips on it. Also, I transferred over a lot of images to it, no problem. The speed it great, and the visual screen is perfect for me. I really am happy ith my purchase!

First and foremost what strikes me about this ASUS 24" Touch-Screen All-in-One desktop is how well made it is. This PC just looks good, and is built really solid. The metal base itself is quite sturdy, and the stand allows the monitor to swivel at many optimal angles for comfortable viewing. This ASUS truly is beautiful, visually, and performs as expected as a brand of computers I have a great deal of experience with and feel confident recommending. While 'not a fan' of the more "matte" appearance of the display screen, I understand the necessity as this all-in-one PC has a touch-screen, and so you're going to want to cut down on seeing those fingerprints on the monitor. I just don't think the visual display is as bright and clear as I'd prefer, but in no way is this a 'downside' or negative aspect. It's merely a matter of personal preference. However, the touch-screen is intuitive to use and ultra-responsive. So no issues there. It's usual to expect the onboard speakers to not be that great. But I was pleasantly surprised to find that the sound coming from this ASUS to be quite adequate. Clear and full, and I didn't even need to turn the volume up all the way, either. The Webcam is of standard, average quality, but does the job. A feature I'd have liked to see though, that many all-in-one PCs have started featuring is a 'pop up' webcam, one that can be tucked away out of sight when not in use. This is particularly desirable for families with younger children, or anyone wanting that additional level of "security." Yet, in this instance, it's just another preference type of thing. This ASUS 24" Touch-Screen All-in-One desktop comes with a basic wireless keyboard and mouse. While you can always upgrade or switch these out later, it's nice to have them included so you can get up and running right out of the box. I always recommend immediately downloading and installing all the necessary Windows updates when first setting up your computer. That way it's done, and your system will be set up and ready to go. And there's no bloatware, whatsoever! I was amazed at how bare bones and minimal the populated program list was. Not even a "trial" version of some anti-virus protection, which was a welcome difference. The only real downside, for me, is that the onboard storage is rather lacking; only 256GB, part of which will be taken up with the operating system. However, the option is always there to simply get an external hard-drive to supplement storage. Overall, I'm enjoying my new ASUS all-in-one. For anyone wanting a basic, quality made, touch-screen desktop PC, I can definitely recommend this one.

I have always loved ASUS laptops because of their build quality, this is my first experience with one of their PCs and it did not disappoint. The ASUS A3402T is a beautiful, well designed All In One (AIO) Windows PC. Don't be fooled by the i5, 8GB, 256GB config. Windows 11 rocks on the ASUS A3402T, I had no issues with Microsoft Office (including Teams) or using Zoom. If you're anxious about storage, AIO are not upgradeable but the A3402T has a lot of USB ports. The rear has 4x USB A, 1x USB C, 2x HDMI, 1x ethernet. ASUS have thoughtfully also put a USB A port on the front right of the monitor, great if you want to add your own fingerprint reader for a Windows Hello login. The 24" screen is a touch screen and works well but I don't really use touchscreens on monitors, not a fan of fingerprint marks. On the HDMI, ASUS have been thoughtful to make one of the HDMI ports an input, so you could technically also use this as an external monitor AND a PC. I'm using this in my home office, but I could see the A3402T being at home in a dorm room, where you hook your Nintendo up between study sessions. The inbuilt webcam quality is good and the ASUS include some optional extra software to better balance and the tune the mics for noise canceling. The webcam is not Windows Hello capable, so login is password or PIN only. On software, the A3402T is free of bloat (thank you ASUS!) and initial setup was straight forward. Not include the usual Microsoft Windows Updates, the only other major update for me was a BIOS firmware. All easy to do. Also included in the box is a wireless mouse and keyboard, they are nice to type on and whisper quiet. You should know, that the wireless keyboard uses a small USB A dongle. I would recommend inserting it on the back USB slot, adding a USB A fingerprint reader to the front and you will be very happy.

My college bound kid has always wanted an all-in-one PC. So, when I got the opportunity to own the ASUS A3402T I didn’t hesitate to give it a try. The set up of this all-in-one was super easy. Long gone are the days of tons of components and wires needed to own a good desktop PC. Within a few minutes of unboxing the computer and hooking up minimal wires this thing was up and running. The initial boot process was quick and painless. I was able to breeze through the setup process as the A34502T walked me through every step of the way. The speed and ease in which it all happened you would have expected this computer to be much, much more expensive. It also sync’s with my kids google account seamlessly. Having a touch screen aided greatly in the setup as well. This came packaged with a keyboard and mouse which paired well with is ASUS PC. The supplied 24” monitor displays outstanding graphics. The screen is bright and vivid and the refresh rate is top notch. The solid-state drive is an added bonus as it allows for extremely fast boot ups. The sound quality is very good considering its an all-in-one system. To be honest I was thoroughly impressed by the sound. All in all, this is a very impressive PC. I really do like all aspects of the ASUS A3402T and would definitely recommend this computer. So, if you’re looking to save space at a good price with a very good PC then you should really look into putting this one on your desk.
