Replaced my Linksys E3000 and it was a really good upgrade. There are many versions of this router but the one I got was the fastest B2 version (1.4 GHz CPU). Much better speed than old E3000 (both wifi and LAN) as the linksys couldn't handle of my new internet speed (300 Mbit from Optimum, was getting less than 200 on Linksys and now about 340 on this Asus). Also, noticed much better range as signal going to my repeater in the basement is much better now (it never shows anything less than full strength and it was not always the case with the old router). Very happy with the purchase...

We were having issues with intermittent loss of connection with our old router so we did some research and decided the Asus RT-AC68U was the best fit for our home. And, considering other routers with similar features, it was priced right. Setup was easy. What a difference this router has made! No more connectivity issues and the signal reaches every corner of our house. As a family of 5 we have a LOT of devices that require a WiFi connection and this router has no problem providing a fast and reliable connection for them all.

Haven’t tried to use mesh WiFi with it yet but so far great speeds and decent range for the WiFi, remember you have two different signals the 2.4g and 5g. The 2.4 is slower but reaches farther and 5g is much faster but shorter range. Easy hookup and worked without needing to mess with any settings.

This is probably one of the most overlooked but best quality routers out there in WiFi land. I understand that most people want bigger and better and more, more, more. But we have had this same router since it came out in 2014 (we got ours in 2015). Our first one got zorched in Indiana T-storms (regular power strip), so the replacement was powered through a Panamax with total protection. We have a broadband package that promises speeds up to 250Mbps, and in our 4000 square foot house I always get around 225Mbps, even in my basement office in the opposite corner of the house. In the last 6 years it has regularly powered 2-3 laptops, 4 phones, 3 tablets, and probably a few other streaming media devices I'm forgetting. We had two HS students during these years, and so the use has been constant. Runs like a champ. Many networking options. Honestly, we just use it for basic stuff--not running as a media server for music, movies, games, whatever. But you could--I think that is one of the strengths here. If you aren't running lightning-fast Broadband and devices that match, why spend $300-400 for 1 more antenna and speed you won't use. At least, that is what my "normal use" experience has been. Our first HS student just graduated from college. Guess what router I picked for his first-apartment-housewarming-gift? Yep, this one on sale. Less than $150 is an easy win.

I've only used this as an aimesh device, but so far it's been good. Aimesh is not 100% seamless, but does the job of giving me more coverage. Setup was very easy using the Asus app on my phone. Just power it up and wait for it to be recognized as an aimesh device. I'm also able to connect wired devices and get a better signal to streaming devices in my home theater setup. These routers have been highly regarded so check out the many reviews and setup guides.

My old router was going on 8 years old and needed a new one. At the time of my purchase this router was about half price as part of a Best Buy sale, which is the only reason I bought it. I normally would not go the more pricey route. But the speed and quality difference is noticeable and it was very easy to set up. Would recommend.

I was a bit thrown off when I first opened the box and saw a cd for setup, but quickly realized it wasn't needed. Just hit the WPS button and all my devices connected easily. Router has been working flawlessly for laptops and TVs.

This ASUS AC1900 is a very nice router! Excellent coverage and speed!! Would highly recommend! This is perfect for a apartment or small office. ASUS routers are the ONLY brand router I purchase.

Purchased this router recently to replace a 8 year old ASUS router. This works well with my cable internet. Super easy set up too. A reliable product for sure.

While it's only been active a little over a month, this router seems to be working exactly as hoped -- covering a 3200 square foot house from corner to corner. Installation and connection was seamless and easy. I would definitely recommend if you're comparing to other similar types and brands.

Nothing to say. I purchased to replace a Spectrum supplied router which had no manual, didn't allow me to hide my SSID, and didn't have guest access.

I bought ASUS AC1900 to replace Netgear NighthawkAC1900 which failed after using it for 2 years. Asus router has excellent wifi range. Range and bandwidth of 2GHZ is good with multiple devices connected to internet and there is no buffering. 5GHZ range is not very good though. Overall this router is very good and is much better than Netgear nighthawk.

This is a good router, it is much better than the one offered by the internet company and I don't pay a monthly fee!
