The overall laptop is great. Speed is there..the price value and specs are right on the park. SSD is really fast..there is another slot for a 2.5 SSD internal drive. RAM is upgradedable to 32 gb max. I give the laptop 3 stars because of the scree. From time to time the screen goes to a yellow tint color..really bad for my eyes. Then goes back to regular and then got back to yellow tint permanently I reached out to ASUS Support and told them I reset the laptop already installed/updated the graphics driver. He mentioned about night light maybe it was on.. I never use night light and I even checked the settings so it is not the culprit Resetting the Laptop did do any good at all. This is not an isolated case, I checked other reviews and forums and they also experienced the screen glitchm

This is a great entry level gaming laptop for the price I bought it at of $529. It can play most games at decent settings. The SSD is fast at booting up and love that the keyboard can cycle from one color to another or you can keep it at just one color.

The GTX 1050 won't blow you away, but it gets the job done for undemanding games. Very easy to upgrade the RAM, as well as to add an additional SSD which I would recommenced. High points are the build quality and the IPS panel. Get it when it's on sale.

So after some searching and deal hunting, I came across this piece. It has the minimum specs I wanted and the price was great. A big need outside of the interior specs was the screen size, listed at 15.6”, which was my minimum. When I revived it, it looked abnormally small. I measured the diagonal size and sure enough, it was 15.6”, but when compared to the toshiba I would be replacing it with, it was massively smaller. The toshiba screen measured 14” across and just under 8” tall. The asus measured 13 1/2” across and 7 3/4” tall. While that may not seem like much, the viewing display for something of those dimensions already is massively smaller. Very disappointed.

Works good for low to medium gaming at a great price. Takes a bit to learn everything it can offfer but wouldn’t hesitate to purchase again

My first SSD laptop and I cannot believe Windows 10 booting in only a few seconds instead of seeming like long minutes. This was an open box item but looked almost new and work just great out of the box. I was a little disappointed that it only had a 240gb SSD but I had a 500gb SATA drive lying around at home so stuck in in and have plenty of storage now on the SATA drive for downloads, etc. That is the only thing I would do different is to try to get one with a bigger SSD.

I acquired this laptop because I wanted a device with great graphics and hi-def capabilities. It is all that and super fast. Absolutely love it.

Very Happy with my purchase, I was looking for something like this long time ago, I have a lot of respect for ASUS and this one until is awesome, I am not a great gamer but sometimes I like to play DotA 2 and looks really good and runs perfect, the movies and anime series they look amazing in the screen, I don't know why they don't put an USB type C in this laptop instead an USB 2.0 but besides that nothing, fast with windows 10 and the everyone loves the design. Stout build easy to upgrade I added memory and a another ssd. Very good gaming laptop for the price.

I was floored how well this laptop performed and the stunning 3D graphics it renders.

My previous laptop used a wireless mouse, and so does this ACUS, which is fine with me because I didn’t want a touchscreen. Some of the scrolling bars are hard to use, but these might just be part of Windows 10. I love the changing colors on the keyboard! One reason I bought this model is that I got a really good price-$250 off the regular price!

A bit on the weighty side, the GTX engine runs most games smoothly at max settings.

This is a great laptop for gaming. I bought this to play games and oh boy am i surprised with the punch this laptop delivers. Currently playing Ring of Elisyium on steam on normal settings with no lag or any issues.

It’s great for the price and a great gaming laptop for beginners. It can handle almost all of the new games at around 50-60+ FPS the only thing that could be better is the RAM and ssd which are both easily replaced

Snappy machine is fast for web browsing and basic gaming. My son plays Minecraft, Roblox etc. with no lag. Keyboard has a revolving spectrum backlight which looks great but wish I could slow the spectrum, it seems to revolve at an adhd speed. The screen brightness is a bit dim brightness settings on keyboard don’t work that well to brighten. Other than that we’re happy with the purchase.

My son has a gaming desktop PC but wanted to be mobile for PC gaming with friends. He loves this new laptop and splits time equally between this laptop and his desktop, so the functional quality is on point.

Great price for computer. Preforms great recommend
