Overall: Great Monitor for gaming and work

I'm going to get the bad out of the way first, as no monitor is perfect. But there is so much good to go along with the bad. For an AV panel, it's pretty great. I have this monitor underneath a 24in Asus IPS 1080p 144hz panel. Cons: -Black uniformity is not good. I feel like I likely got a good panel but it is still not the best. Not a deal breaker for me though. -Using the freesync alongside ELMB does not work well (or at least didn't for me). Causes artifacts in games and doesn't function well in dark scenes. (i also have the Asus VG249Q and it works flawlessly on that, but maybe because it's an IPS and the VG32VQ is AV?) Still games like a champ. Out of the box, colors/look was off for my liking. Too red. I took some serious time adjusting ALL settings to get them where i liked them (blend between gaming and work for around 10 hrs a day). Looks beautiful now. Pros: - Picture is amazing once tuned. Crispy, vibrant, clear. I really enjoy this monitor for everything i use it for. Great for bright rooms. - Gaming on this monitor is a treat. 10/10. 1440p is crisp even for a 32in. 144hz makes for a great experience coming from 60hz on my last set of monitors. I currently have an RX570 8gb until the GPU gods bless me with availability, so at 1440p my FPS ranges from 60 to 120 depending on game/settings. Freesync does what it's supposed to. No screen tearing or other issues so far. Big screen = big fun. EXTREMELY responsive. HDR gaming isn't super bright but in most cases i don't mind it. - Menu navigation is the best I've had on a monitor hands down. Super easy to swap settings/profiles in the OSD. Multi direction 'joystick' is amazing. - Real Estate/Workspace. at 32in this monitor is a serious upgrade from a 24 - even dual 24s. Working on a computer all day (as many of us are working from home) the size/1440p is perfect. Easily fit 4 windows snapped in with plenty of room for all. BRIGHT as well. No glare from lights in the room show. - Stand/Design/Build. Asus Tuf Gaming line has one of the best stands in my opinion. Great height adjustments, tilt up, down, left, right. Immersive curve for gaming, sturdy and very well built stand/monitor. Does NOT feel cheap in any way, shape, or form. Overall I gave this monitor a 4/5 because of the few things i detailed in the beginning. I didn't mind tinkering with the settings out of the box. I love this monitor. At it's price point i feel like it's a very sound purchase.

This is one big monitor, it was for my son. He is a true techie and studies specs and what is the best value and quality for his beefy PC. Amazing graphics on his RTX, goes nice to his other monitor but certainly over shadows it, I guess we should have got two so the system would like quite nice. Needless to say he is very happy with it, great purchase!

I have an Asus 1080p monitor and was looking into other monitors to upgrade, in the end I went with this one. I'm glad I did, it curves well with my desk and picture in my opinion is amazing. I didn't expect the stand to be as big as it was (roughly 9x12 inches). There was a cosmetic part that goes to the back that I broke as soon as I tried to put it on. That may have been my fault, because I tried to take it off to run cords through it. I'll also include a picture next to a 27 inch monitor for reference, and the part I broke on the back.

Beautiful screen and picture! I absolutely love this monitor. I have an omen gaming monitor for my swcondary monitor and this ine outperforms it in every way. I do not have a single complaint about it. I will eventually give my daughter my omen monitor and buy another TUF gaming monitor.

This monitor is VA panel and not IPS so there will be some ghosting. If you don't know what that is, then you can look it up, but coming from someone who experienced it for the first time on this monitor, it made movement seem kinda jittery and laggy when games would be darker. TO FIX THIS: there is a setting called "shadow boost," turn this all the way up. If you still notice ghosting after this, you can turn the brightness up as high as you comfortably can and that will also help. If you need an easy way to test the ghosting effect on your monitor go to testufo.com and select the "ghosting / pursuit camera" test. If you notice black shadows behind the UFOs as they move them you're experiencing ghosting.

Overall the VG27WQ is one of the best panels you can buy for the price both for gaming and for media consumption. The colour reproduction is fantastic and the consistency of the panel is very hard to match which should not be taken for granted. HDR actually works and for a curved display, the footprint of the display is small yet the build quality and stability is solid. I wish that there was at least one review of this monitor (I suppose I’m the first)... it’s a shame how its existence was essentially nullified by the more expensive twin in its range. Stay away from the AQ panel unless you like paying more for worse specifications and for the ability to use GSYNC. Is the VG27WQ worth the money? Absolutely. Do I have any regrets buying it? Zero.

I've been trying to decide on a 1440p or 4K 144+hz monitor for the last few months, and just didn’t know which monitor to go for.. after seeing some reviews, I finally decided to go with this 32” curved TUF gaming monitor over the Acer Predator 27" IPS, as it had all the features that I cared about, while also being at least a couple hundred dollars cheaper. I can now say I am very happy with my purchase. I haven't yet tried the ELMB-sync, or done anything to calibrate it, but it looks incredible right out of the box, which is another nice bonus. No dead pixels, and it arrived 3 days before it was supposed to! Doesn't get much better than that!

I really like this monitor. It’s a VA panel and I primarily purchased this for gaming and it looks great. This monitor is also great for everyday use so I’m enjoying my gaming and everything else I use it for. At first I though it would be too big since I went from a 27 to 32” (31.5 actual viewing) but it’s not. The only con is the cable holder which detaches too easy on the slightest pressure so I don’t use it.

I absolutely love this monitor. This is my first time experiencing a refresh rate in 144hz and man is it amazing! It's so smooth and I have not experienced any problems with the display. The HDR is decent and really fleshes out the colors.

I performed a reasonable amount of research before selecting this monitor. I was looking for something that I could use for both work and play and this monitor is awesome! The colors are unreal and vivid. I have been using it now for three months with zero problems. Very happy with this purchase. it was my first curved screen and I like it a lot. Seems much easier on my eyes than the 32" flat screen this replaced. The curve on the VG32VQ is 1800R which is very subtle. The graphics in games is excellent. The high refresh rate and 2K resolution are a great combination. Asus has another 32" TUF monitor that is a little cheaper and has a slightly higher refresh rate. I went with the VG32VQ because it had a higher brightness spec of 400cd vs 250cd for the VG32VQB1R.

I honestly thought the whole curved monitors was a gimmick, after several months I can honestly say there is merit to their weird design, my eyes don't have to be making minor adjustments, refocusing on the images depending on the location of the screen. The size of the screen is massive and it is SO EASY ON THE EYES! Update: Oh one more thing, this monitor has a built in crosshair for FPS games. It provides a clear advantage over not having one.
