Customers are delighted by the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 ROG STRIX 8GB GDDR6 PCI Express 4.0 Graphics Card's impressive performance and excellent cooling capabilities. Many appreciate its high build quality and attractive aesthetics, including the RGB lighting. However, some customers note the card's large size and relatively high price point as potential drawbacks. The card's quiet operation under load is also frequently praised.

Well kudos to Best Buy to at least ensure these weren't easily purchased by bots. I was lucky enough to buy this even after the Tarrif hike its a great card. Overclocked better than my msi gaming x Trio and looks good doing so. This is a premium card for a reason build quality is top notch. Would recommend this to anyone with a little higher budget and wants a card that can be displayed. Down side is at the price your in RTX 3080 territory so if you can get one then definitely go 3080.

1440p 120hz~144hz is my desired game settings. Graphics range from med to ultra depending on the setting. This card hits that. DLSS boost that. Re: village seen lows of 56fps but ran all the way to 110. I am pleased with the performance. So the strix model it’s self. A very solid card the metal feel and great rgb lighting. The fans run silent and keeps the card around 54c while gaming

    Strix 3070 for ROG Build

This GPU is a beast! I came from a ROG Strix GTX 1080 and the upgrade is massive, from the cuda cores, to upgraded VRAM, and of course, DLSS/RT performance! The card is also beautiful and just fun to own! One thing though, the left side of the GPU appears to have a small gap between the cooler and the GPU heatsink/plate. Despite this asymmetrical anomaly, the GPU runs cool and never tops 71 degrees celsius. Buy it!

It can take on almost any game with maxed settings and still push 200 fps. It comes with 5 video outputs 2 HDMI and 3 DP making it great for multiple monitors. Giving it another one up on the founders.

Before even opening the antistatic bag, I could see three screws floating around in the bag. These screws belonged to the fan shroud, which go between the pcb itself and the fan shroud. There was no way to get these back in place without taking the card apart, putting the screws in, and re-pasting, and then testing. Hopefully this isn't common. 2/5 since it does work after this, but this is completely inexcusable on ASUS's end. Only help ASUS offered was to bring the card back to the store for an exchange (yeah like that's going to happen with how hard these cards are to get)

    Large and Costly but Effective

ASUS makes some of the most expensive GPUs across the board due to tariffs, but they try their best to make them worth the cost. This massive STRIX 3070 barely fit into my SSUPD Meshlicious ITX-sized case, but I was able to mount it after removing the Geforce RTX logo by undoing 2 screws on the backplate. Luckily, this side logo doesn't light up so the card actually looks cleaner afterwards. The performance is absolutely amazing for a 3070 as the large air cooler keeps it at a chilly 50-55C after a little bit of undervolting. I would recommend any 30 series GPU but don't be scared away from ASUS cards by the high prices if you can afford them. They're pretty worth it.

This GPU is a chunky card. BUT if you can fit it in your system it is worth every penny. Super quiet and tasteful RGB. Get it if you can. Lets me play Cyberpunk 2077 at 1440p ultra everything @>60fps.

This GPU was a bit expensive and 3070s tend to have some driver issues running games like warzone, but it keeps cool, and quiet under load. It’s not quite a 4k monster but its great for 1080/1440 at good frames. The non-LHR makes it worthwhile to keep if someone wants passive income to soak up the $800+ damage for a well-built strix card.

Very difficult buying process, but the card it self is solid. This Strix card have a much higher max TDP at 280W than the stock 3070 and much beefier cooling. The card is very big, if you have a micro ATX motherboard this will most likely block the other PCI-E slot. It's not worth the extra $200 over the FE, but that's even harder to buy

Great GPU, if you're looking for a 3070 card, this would be the one to get. It's very large but in return is also quiet , cool, and easy to overclock and tune. Aesthetically its very attractive if you're into the RGB thing, the metal backplate and components have a fair amount of heft so consider using a support. I've put together rigs with other 3070's and this is by far my favorite. Don't be afraid to spend the extra money on this card.

Beast of a card, in terms of size and weight, much heaver than the tuf from Asus. The cooling and design are top notch, wish it had a gpu temp readout like the Aorus Master. Also wish it was a 3080, but those are far harder to get, after months of trying I got two, one form me and my brother (tuf ver). went from 70-90 fps (2060) in doom eternal to 200+. I'd say it's a worthy upgrade...

Amazing Card, went for a Build. Extremely Long you need to make sure it fits your case. Also is on the Heavy side but most Good Triple Fan GPU are heavy from 3000 series Nvidia and AMD Radeon RX 6000 series. High quality Product! Zero Cons.

These cards are very hard to find, but they are worth it. I was a little salty about spending more than a 3070 FE, but this card with the cooler is amazing. During marathon sessions it does not break 60̊. Yes, it was about the price of a 3080 FE, but I am happy with the purchase and do not regret it.

Love the build quality of this card and the RGB. Weighs a lot more than my previous card but got a GPU support rod to stabilize the slight sag. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the performance and low noise. Best Buy has been great in supplying all of my computing needs for my current build.

Card performs amazing! Plays all my games at 170 fps (I have 170hz monitor) and the lights are pretty cool. Cards can be aggressively over clocked as well with a high power limit and can just be pushed really hard and be stable.

It's a 3070, performs as intended. Paying a hefty ROG tax and pure performance wise you won't see much of gain vs say, the FE version. The aesthetics does look good, build quality is also top notch. At this MSRP it's hard to recommend to anyone, hope the prices eventually come down to where they should be. This was a $600 card at the very beginning which was already pretty high. If I have a choice, I'd go for the FE or lower tier cards.

Best looking card in the market; it is a big hefty card so if you have a small build it most likely won't fit. Overall good performance and quiet, the RGB looks amazing as well.
