Excellent card! I originally bought a 3080 FE for my SFF PC. That was a big mistake. They way the exhaust was set up caused the card to cook in its own heat. I ended up going with this with a more traditional cooking set up, my thermals dropped by 10 degrees! The card is quiet and cool and really performs! It also helps that the card only need 2 8 pin PCI cables for power vs 3 that a lot of the AIB cards have.

Quality, Fast, over priced. Took nearly 3 years for the prices to drop to a somewhat reasonable price, however it has met all my equipments for gaming and video and photo editing.

Finally MSRP or below!!! Be careful before you buy this card. or any 3080 and above. Make sure your computer can fit it. It is 11.81 inches. I have alienware aurora r12. Did not fit I had to use some creativity on the alienware case to make it fit. Have to leave side cover off to let it breathe and give it its full potential. 3080 and higher cards can tend to sag because its so long and heavy. Make sure you get a GPU anti sag thing. Overall no regrets after my creative efforts so this GPU can fit in the case. this performs within 1% of a ti and 4-5% of a 3090 due to its 384 bit bus. Under 100% load with cover off GPU maintained below 70c. Make sure you have a powerful enough power supply. The alienware has 1000w ...recommended you have at least 850. under load the system did pull 650-775watts.

This graphics card is a steal for the price range that it is currently listed at. Benchmarks for the 12GB 3080s are just a hair below a 3080ti, however the price difference is several hundred dollars. Grabbed this card and dropped it right into my old PC to replace a 1080ti, booted up without issues and was on my way. Actually being able to play in 4K without issues/stuttering finally feels great. I don't bother with manually overclocking my cards so for me (and anyone else like me) that is looking for great price to performance value from a stock card this is a no brainer.

A substantial improvement over the founders edition and the prior 3080 partner card I had prior to this. While considered the more affordable version of Asus’s line up versus the Strix model, nothing about this card screams cheap. The black aluminum shroud and back plate scream quality and Asus uses it for heat dissipation with attached thermal pad on the back plate. I’ve had it for a week and I’ve been floored by its performance and getting it for the MSRP of the base 3080 instead of the crazy scalper prices makes it better.

The Asus 3080 12gb TUF card exceeded my expectations and I intend to skip the 4000 series from Nvidia at this point thanks to this card. If you are looking to game at at 4k/60fps at medium to high settings or 1440p/144fps at ultra settings this card is exactly what you're looking for. I initially purchased a 3070 and while it performed well overall, it didn't quite give me the 1440p at high fps/settings I was chasing, the 3080 12gb did. Pros: -TUF design has premium look/build quality -3080 boost clocks automatically seek out ideal performance based on thermals and power limits -3080 12gb card offers slight performance boost over the 10gb card and actually places it close to 3080 TI performance levels -Dual bios feature for silent mode or performance mode is a nice addition Cons: -Nvidia cards have grown more expensive over the years at a fast rate hence the 3 star value rating I gave I don't mention specific fps numbers because if you're looking for a card in this price bracket you likely know what you're getting into. In my opinion, the only Nvidia cards worth going for (excluding 4000 series talk) are the 3060 TI and the 3080 assuming you're able to acquire for MSRP. The 3070 and 3070 TI are individually excellent performing cards but they don't open up a new tier of performance that the 3060 TI wasn't already capable of for a significant amount cheaper. The 3080 essentially does that as well in relation to the 3080 TI and 3090.

So glad I grabbed this over tax-free weekend. Used a Honey promo code and got it for $675 total. It will last for years (yes, even after the 4000 series is released in 2023), can run everything at high to ultra and over 165 fps. Keeps temps cool in my Hyte Revolt 3 case and is really quiet.

Very pleased with this generation for the dollar spent and dollar saved.

Super underrated graphics card that can push max settings for under $800. If you feel the need to drop $2k to have the latest and greatest go ahead but this card is definitely enough for under half the price.

When I bought this card a few years ago I feared that the forthcoming 40 series would suffer from the same supply constraints as the 30 series. Several months later and far past the return window later I was left with a card as powerful as the 4070ti... sometimes, and none of the refinements. On the positive side, it is a tremendous upgrade from the 2070 Super that it replaced

Finally got one after 2 years of waiting! Upgraded from a 1070 and if made a huge difference. Even without upgrading anything else I'm seeing a huge boost on my 2016 built machine.
