This laptop is amazingly fast, beautiful, light weight, easy to use, and i love the touch screen feature. The battery could be better, but charges quickly. Best laptop I've ever owned!

I have been playing with this device for a couple days and completely blown away by it! I have had about every portable laptop you can imagine, Razer Blade Stealth. HP Spectre, and 2021 Asus G14. This device blows them away. On Geekbench 5, I am getting close to 9000 on the single core score and almost 13,000 on the multi-core. The compute score is almost 59K which is about the same as my GTX 1080 connected to previous Razer Stealth. This unit is a little thicker and heavier than the SP8 but only by .5 lbs. However the size and volume this takes in my bag is almost the same as the SP8. Gaming is a pleasure on the device and can't wait to test it out with my Razer Core X Chroma and the new 3080 purchased at Asus (would have preferred to buy it from BestBuy, but they don't carry it). I can't wait to see one of my favorite YouTubers (Flossy) review this one!

It is awesome! Got a certified excellent opened box for around $12-1300. At this price point, it is an awesome value gaming tablet. Buying it at MSRP for $1899 is ridiculously over price. I would recommend buying it when it is on sale or certified excellent opened box when it is on sale. The performance is top-notch. Battery is kinda meh due to its high spec. For a gaming device, you are expected to bring around your charger all the time so probably no one cares about the battery anyways. You still can get around 4-5 hours of light tasks on a single charge depends on your tablet setting. Overall, awesome tablet!

Refurbished/resorted item quality was 10/10. Did not notice any hardware, software, or cosmetic issues. Batter life is shorter than hoped for with approx. 4-5hrs for just taking notes and shutting down majority of background apps. Transitions smoothly from laptop to tablet. Kickstand can be painful on legs after prolonged mobile use. For performance, it was about as expected. Ran all types of games decently. Noticed a lot of frame drops and screen tearing with games requiring higher power (even with the lowest graphic settings). But no problems in terms of functionality.

Great portable gaming device. This little machine with an RTX 3050 ti and i9 processor really handles gaming and media on the go well. Love the detachable keyboard, Great for times when you don't want one. Screen is bright and vibrant. Battery life is decent for such a small device. expect to get just a little over 4 hours on battery alone. I can live with that. Been playing Baldur's Gate 3 on it and getting really good FPS with a mix of medium and high settings.

I work in IT & use a LOT of software that impacts the performance of whatever device I’m using. I don’t really notice the impact with this device. Given the specs and performance of this device, I’m really surprised it doesn’t cost more. The ONLY downside I ran into is that instead of a print screen function key, they have a screen snip function key. But i got around that by remapping the key w/ power toys. I’m typically a Mac user but this is one device that can tear me away from it(not an easy task).

You are not going to get this much power in another tablet, period. You will never get this much gaming power in this portable of a form factor until the Z13 2023 version comes out. Screen is great. Keyboard folio is great. System runs cool even under demanding loads with no help from a fan or anything. If you can get the XG mobile, you have a powerful 4k on Ultra gaming beast that fits into a small backpack or a largish purse or laptop bag. Only downsides are: expensive, no hdr (dolby vision is supported but the display doesnt do hdr), and it only last a couple of hours when gaming and onky a few hours when doing non intensive tasks so pack a power bank or two, 100w ones if you want to game.

These are powerful tablets, and the concept is so cool but execution really lacks. The back has a beveled window which prevents it from ever laying flat, which is good because that's also where it vents heat, hugely tempermental device prone to failures, and runs on crappy software thankfully fans online have improved. It's a fun buy, but not the best gaming laptop you can get for the price, that's for sure.

I bought this rig to edit photos, not for gaming. I went from a Surface 7+ to this i9, it reduced editing times (Luminar Neo & Photoshop) to a tenth of the time it used to take before. The combination of i9 and Nvidia 3050Ti makes this tablet a beast "Surface on steriods", as time.news put it in their review. I've had it for 4 months and I couldn't be happier...well, I could if battery lasted longer, not that it is horrible, but it could be improved.

Excellent tablet. I'd recommend it for anyone who wants a mobile PC without a laptop keyboard in the way. The touchscreen looks very good while gaming or watching videos. Only downside is if you are doing something graphic intensive, it's best to have it plugged in. The battery will wear down fast. 3 star on the battery, 5 star on everything else.

I'm a photographer and a gamer and it exceeds on both the only downside is that battery but any gamer notice that every product you get only about 2 hours of gaming but when you editing I get at least about three to four it's also compatible with USB type-c chargers so I can get away with using my phone charger which is a 65 watt and it will lose charge my battery up will not let me use turbo though I can also use a battery bank and a pinch when I'm on the field doing some edited or reviewing before I leave the scene.

I love this form factor when I saw it, so when I saw Asus offered this in a "gaming" configuration, I knew I had to have it. Unfortunately, at over $1000 i expected more and got less. Returned & refunded. Pros: lightweight(ish) - this tablet much lighter than my Acer spin 3 but still quite heavy for a portable tablet The Intel I-9/16 gigs configuration I got was extremely fast and quickly made short work of anything that did not use the GPU The screen is amazing, bright colors and the ability to switch from 120hz to 60hz was a neat feature Cons: the battery life. This machine would be so much better had the power efficiency been better, but that's the trade off for having a 3050ti on board I guess? Overall, the machine I got averaged about 2.5-3.5 hours on 'normal usage' without playing any games. Gaming saw about an hour and 10 mins before I was reaching for the charger. Lack of ports was also an issue, as I realized I couldn't attach my USB drive and use my wireless mouse at the same time. I would have liked to have seen at least another USB type A and thunderbolt/USB c port, perhaps an old school rj45 and full size HDMI 2.0 port. Tldr: really expensive "gaming" tablet performs as you'd expect, bright and flashy, lots of fan noise and eats battery life for breakfast

This is a great laptop/tablet! I know there have been a lot of negative reviews regarding this tablet but it is a great product. It does have its pros and cons but what it can do out weighs all the cons. I wanted this for a traveling tablet and it is excellent at that! If you want this purely for gaming then I would just get a laptop. I've been playing Tekken 7 with no problems what so ever! It does have some lag on high frame rate games such as racing games but only sometimes. The pros for this is basically you can do anything with it that you would a laptop, which is a lot! Load Steam library, movies , and music all in one unit. The touchscreen is beautiful and fast! Now the cons: battery life is definitely the main drawback. If your going to be traveling more than 3.5 hours your going to need a battery backup! The weight is heavier than a normal tablet and it's hard to use 1 handed. If you use the kickstand or portrait mode it's fine. You can't load apps on it natively but the Steam games are 10x better than any app games. One other drawback is you can't use the alarm to wake up unless it stays plugged in all night. It will shut itself down to save battery life if not plugged in or the battery will die before you wake up! All in all I'm happy with it!

so far im loving it its able to functional for all the school work i need plus its powerful enough to play just about anything i want, so a 4 star for me the battery life does leave much to be desired if your playing games especially something intensive tarkov or call of duty will bring battery down to like 2 hours but when just doing like word doc's and other simple programs i get about 7-8 hours of life with daily chrome usage and love the super simple storage upgrade one screw and your ready to put in a new drive .

Portable Powerhouse To Game on the Plane With!

Bought this tablet to replace an older GPD Win Max unit that was not keeping up with the on the go gaming I was doing. I had paired this little rig with a GTX1070 Gigabyte Game Box. Previous to this I had a Blade 14 with a GTX 1060. I spent some time playing with this laptop over the week before my trip, and it was a joy to have the tablet out on the coffee table in the living room with a controller playing games while my wife and I watched Netflix. In addition to that, I hooked the tablet up to the TV for some living room couch gaming sessions, which this device was more than capable of. I pretty much played Rocket League at highest settings 1080p 120FPS locked. I also tried other things out. Playing Forza Horizon 5 on high settings yielded 70 FPS, however if you bump some of the RT settings down you can see around 80-90 FPS. Not too shabby! Where this device really shined was portability on the airplane. I purchased an external PD battery pack capable of delivering 60 watts of charge and was able to extend the battery back by around 1.5-2 hours depending on game settings. In addition to this, I found that when gaming on a plane, if you use a 60 watt PD charger that was not the Asus supplied one, you could game on the laptop using the Silent profile, still continuously charge slowly, and not trip the breaker on the plane's AC outlet! Pretty awesome for long trips! Using this method I played a lot of Forza Horizon 5 (around 70fps on the silent profile) and Elden Ring on all low settings at 800p (around 50 fps on the silent profile). Anyone who has tried to take a gaming laptop on a plane to plug into the outlet, knows the struggle of the outlet not having enough juice to power a 300 watt power supply. Other things I tested was using this to play Overwatch (over 200+ fps on low settings), and Valheim (about 70 fps on medium settings with most options turned off). Yes this tablet isn't as fast as other 3050ti laptops with a bigger form factor, but that isn't the reason you buy this tablet. You buy it for the portability, and the really quiet cooling system. These fans, even on the highest setting (Turbo) are really quiet compared to other gaming laptops. If you have the speakers at around 30% they are completely inaudible. The screen is pretty bright as well, no problems using this tablet in direct sunlight. This tablet is quiet, feels like machine with power somewhere between a PS4 and PS5 and a screen on it.

Great idea and concept but does have a few drawbacks. I thought you could add an extra ssd but the expansion slot is actually a micro sd slot on the back. The ssd is the 2inch sized one and there isnt an expansion slot for itonly an easy access panel to swap out. All in all i am extremely satisfied with this despite those two things. The audio is the best ive ever had in a laptop and if you have a surface behind the screen the sound bounces off and is easily heard. The screen doesnt smudge up so far in my limited use of the touch screen. The fans are quieter than previous gaming laptops I’ve owned also. I would recomend this if your wanting a niche type portable gaming laptop. The screen is a bit on the smaller side but i guess thats the new “industry standard” size for portability. I had an Acer Nitro17 and miss that screen size
