This laptop has many great qualities, top of the line components and a sleek new look from years past. The best part about this system is the top of the line components like the i9-9980HK processor and the RTX 2080 graphics. The performance is fantastic. It boots up in 7 seconds. It unzips files in the blink of an eye. and the download speeds from wifi are fantastic. There are a few down sides. First, it is a BIG machine and has 2 big bricks which make it one of the heaviest laptops around. I have always used Targus laptop messenger bags for my 17" laptops, but they changed the style of the bags from being briefcase like with a big area for the laptop to a TSA compliant bag with several sections and this computer would not fit in the new style bag. I had to order an 18" bag to get it to fit The power bricks don't have an indicator light and where I live there are a lot of loose and non working sockets so this is an annoyance. Also, if you use the laptop for normal stuff like web surfing, playing simple games, you can use one power brick to power the system and the battery does not discharge. You only need 2 bricks under a heavy load like online gaming. I am also not a fan of the multi colored keyboard and it took a lot of searching to find out that there is an aura button on the computer that lets you change this. The manual only mentions the aura button and not what it does. It took a while of searching on the internet to find out that this was a solution to my issue. It would have been nice if the manual said what it did. I don't usually run on battery power so can't tell you how good it is but I can imagine that it sucks power like crazy especially if gaming so it probably isn't the best battery wise. So to summarize: Pro: Top of the line components make it a speedy fantastic laptop to use Con: Really BIG and bulky, won't fit some style laptop bags. Con: Real pricey. Con: Mostly cosmetic stuff, power bricks with no indicator light, manual could be better Overall, If you have the money, I would recommend this system.
