Very nice laptop!

One of my biggest concerns was the white WASD keys, however, it is actually not that bad. Very fast startup and has so far handled every game at max settings in 4K (hdmi out to another monitor).

I'm sorry to hear that you are having issues with the keyboard backlighting. This is certainly not the kind of experience that we want any of our customers to have. Can you please send me your serial number so that I can confirm you received the right model? This model should have a black keyboard with RGB backlighting. I have never have an Asus laptop before. I have purchased this item for my son's birthday. I am 64 years old and I do not play video games.
