Great Monitor But I Wasn’t Ready

This monitor was absolutely beautiful and sharp. Only true issue I had from it was getting the proper color accuracy. I had to try and calibrate the screen numerous times and just couldn’t get it where I wanted it. Either it was too red or too green. That aside, with as close as I could get it the colors were vibrant nonetheless. The features like decreasing the scale to 27 or 24 inches were neat and made it easy to downscale my resolution when necessary. Games looked phenomenal, especially compared to my Dell S3220DGF (which is still a good looking monitor already). I’ve been running a RTX 4070 Super and for the most part it was doing well enough. Problems started when I started playing Indiana Jones. I played games like Call of Duty, Halo, Civ, Baldur’s Gate, Marvel Rivals, Fortnite, Minecraft, Fortnite, Sparking Zero and more. They were all able to run at 4K 90+fps on mostly higher settings, though DLSS played a good part in it. With Indiana Jones the game started struggling a quarter way through the story and after the halfway point it was virtually unplayable. This was not the monitors fault but my GPU’s lack of VRAM. If you’re gonna just consume media or play non graphically intense games this monitor is an amazing choice. however if you’re gonna pick this up to play things like Indiana Jones or Cyberpunk, make sure you have a card that can handle it long term. I had to return it do to my PC not being up to the task sadly. But I would absolutely buy an OLED again whenever I upgrade my GPU.

The absolute BEST gaming monitor you can buy. Once you go OLED you never go back. Try to snag it now while it’s on sale but even at full price its 100% worth it. Amazing refresh rate, solid and punchy colors, and just simply looks fantastic. PSA: to unlock the 240hz make sure youre using the furthest display port on your GPU. Also, if you have an nvidia GPU, make sure you go into the nvidia app and in the display settings use the drop down to select the 240hz. I see a lot of people on the internet wondering why their monitor is stuck at 120hz.

I purchased both this QD-OLED monitor and the WOLED model as well, the UCDP, and this is the one I decided to stick with. Both monitors are great, however the colors and the coating for the QD-OLED just pop a little bit more. Additionally, I think the glossy coating helps a little bit for multi-use so I can both work and do gaming on one monitor. I'm not worried about burn in at all, and I've already used the monitor heavily. I was previously using an LG C1 48" as my main monitor and while the size down took some getting used to, the PPI and clarity on this monitor is far superior for PC work.

What can I say about this monitor that hasn't been said already. I mean, if you search this monitor on youtube, there are countless of reviews, and they all say the same thing. This monitor is simply AWESOME! I mean, you get what you pay for. You definitely pay a premium price for a premium product. Depending on you setup and environment, I went with the glossy model (pg32ucmd). For me it was important to get the glossy screen model because the colors were just brighter and stood out a lot more. Again, this is just my personal opinion. Are there cheaper monitors out there, sure, but I just felt that with this monitor the image quality threw the competition out the window and it felt it would be future proof.

Was on the fence between this and the WOLED monitor because I was worried about the magenta hue commonly mentioned but I am very glad i decided to get this monitor. From the moment you first turn on the monitor I was amazed by the color and image quality. The picture is beautiful right out the box and will subtle adjustments is stunning. Definitely recommend this monitor

    End Game Monitor

End game gaming monitor. The only thing with these high end monitors with HDR, is that you do not get 100% full control of your settings. If you want HDR on, then you lose some control of the monitor settings. If you have HDR off, then you can basically customize anyone you want. This is the 3rd 240 OLED monitor i've had and it's by far the easiest to use. I play a multitude of games, when I play a competitive game, I like to use 1080p option because 4k FPS games aren't where it's at yet. There is an option to use a single click on the monitor to go from 4k 240 to 1080 420. Deal sealer for me.

Coming from a 42 inch c2. I tried the Alienware AW3225QF, Asus UCDP and now this. Is it leaps and bounds better experience than my c2? No. Is it a stellar picture and great features? Very much so. I do notice a difference in input time and desktop experience as well. Gameplay is appeciated for the size. I have a standing desk that is 2ft deep. I have it on a monitor arm. I appreciate the qdoled and the brightness is great. Reflections is not bad in my typical room. One window to the back right of me. Studio lights above for work meetings. I dont have issue with glare. The raised blacks are not bad. Compared to a matte screen i would say its woled black. But its not noticable at all as being anything other than black.

Ive had a few high end monitors but when it comes to color accuracy and quality this just might be the best one I have used. Deep blacks, bright colors and smooth refresh rates in every game. Currently have a 4090 but imagine this would be even better with a 5090. Would recommend if you can catch it on sale!

I can't complain other than a few setting bugs that I found. The monitor, whenever I turn on my PC, forces the refresh rate to 120 instead of the maximum of 240, so I would have to manually go into settings and turn off/on the DSC function - which seems to be the workaround solution... but I think with a couple of updates, I was able to troubleshoot the problem.

Tried the Alienware which is about as good as this one. Tried the MSI which is not as good as this one or the Alienware. Overall This was the best one! If your into curved monitors the Alienware is on par with this one minus some features like a 3.5mm jack.
