I had a failing Wifi antenna which was built-in an older Asus motherboard and I also upgraded from WiFi 5 to Wifi 7 AP and really needed to get something for my old gaming rig. The setup was straight forward, this is connected USB 3.0 and Windows 11.

I had a lot of network adapters in the past, and this is the first one that truly took advantage of my Wi-Fi speed and capability, and instead of me having to deal with drivers and trying to get it to work just right as soon as I plugged it in it immediately installed the own drivers updated them and started giving me a download speed of over 800 MB a second!! it all depends on what type of wireless router you have, and your Internet service provider but this device genuinely gets to speed. I have a network attached storage for my archives of music, movies and photos and anytime I acquire something new and go to upload it I really am getting several gigabytes per second. I’ve bought three more for the household and family members computers and its worked out great!!

The ASUS ROG USB WIFi 7 adapter seems stable. I have had no problems with it. I bought this adapter to add WiFi 7 to my mini computer and make it compatible with an Asus BT10 WiFi 7 Router. The BT10 recognizes the adapter as a 6 GHz or WMO endpoint. Both are stable. Unfortunately I do not have another device that supports MLO so I cannot test speeds and compatibility between MLO endpoints. My Asus network seem prepared for the future, when more devices that support WiFi 7 and MLO become common.

Adds WiFi 7 to Windows 11 (haven't tried Windows 10 or Linux yet). Works well and speeds align with my WiFi 7 settings on my GT-BE98 Pro. One thing to note is that if your WiFi 7 settings are built for >5 Gbps, you won't get those speeds with this as the top speed for USB 3.2 Gen 1 is 5 Gbps. Also make sure to grab the applicable firmware from Asus ROG's site. As a side note, the device looks awesome. Had been waiting for this to come out since it was first unveiled 8 months ago.

I have never had any luck with Wi-Fi and gaming. This device almost makes it seem like I don't need to install a wired connection. I got this as a temporary fix because my new house was not pre-wired for ethernet. I am somewhat debating just not wiring it because I have genuinely no issues. I did have a small bit of trouble getting it set up initially I ended up having to restart my computer twice before it prompted to install the drivers. It's also possible that I was just missing the prompt initially. All in all definitely worth it.

Yes, this is the fast one. Your computer will love you. If your WiFi speed is slow or inconsistent like my 5 year old laptop, then this little guy will fix you right up. Just disable your internal network WiFi adapter (in the Device Manager) and install this one, it is plug and play. You only have to disable the slow hardware once. This guy has WiFi 7 (and is downward compatible), so you are also ready for future capabilities in your router if need be. Very happy.

It’s an excellent WiFi extender but I had to take it back for refund because I found a system that makes my WiFi 5G work all the way, but this is a great alternative if you have all the requirements or technical components and it’s probably the best you’re going to get when it comes to WiFi extenders!!

Exactly what I needed. My motherboard doesn’t have WiFi. I am running an older motherboard so needed a cheaper option than investing in a new mobo, cpu, ram, etc. and this was perfect. I haven’t noticed any issues while gaming compared to Ethernet.

Performs as expected. WiFi 7 Works if you have a capable router to connect to.

Almost literally plug and play. I cannot stress enough how awesome this thing is. My desktop had a terrible onboard wifi card and this solved all of my wifi issues!!
