Fantastic hardware. The Asus software is... okay, but honestly caused more issues than benefits. After removing the Asus bloatware and installing some replacement, third-party controls, it's been phenomenal, It's a powerhouse at full turbo mode, and still incredibly formidable even in silent and low power modes. It exceeds all expectations. It also charges quite quickly making a quick refill on the go very possible. The display is nothing short of incredible. Bright and super crisp. Incredible refresh rate and fast response. A couple of additional pros are being super upgrade firendly. Disassembly is easy with a little bit of research or general know-how. RAM swaps are easy, and the extra m.2 slot makes expanding the storage painless. The keyboard also has a great feel. Respectable and satisfying key travel. The keyboard layout is bog standard in terms of feel and comfort, which is high praise, laptops often fall short with subpar layouts and not enough palm room to properly rest your wrists. The trackpad is also great. Large and very smooth. I would recommend this laptop to anybody.

This laptop has almost every feature fit for an everyday use laptop while sporting tons of gaming horsepower. From my own use I typically average 9-10hrs (give or take 3 hours) of battery per charge whether I'm web browsing, watching movies, or word processing. The hardware configuration here allows for about 75fps on CP2077 on max settings with DLSS 3 enabled, or about 110fps on Dying Light 2 with similar settings enabled. If you're more of a Minecraft gamer, this performance/efficiency 14 core CPU will smash through world/distance rendering while running at a decent framerate. Although 16GB for the time being is typically enough RAM for gaming upgrading to 32GB is recommended, and thankfully with this laptop is affordable and easy.

Great laptop with terrible build quality. The specs are powerful and some things are expected like the loud fan. However, the rubber trim on the top part of the laptop near the camera came with a broken tab so it poked out and the keyboard isn't great. I managed to bend the tab back so it doesnt have a bumb. The spacebar in particular doesn't register clicks on the edge of both sides, meaning about 10% of the button is unusable on each side. Apparently, there is only one button under the cap and it causes issues since the edges can't press it down. I will say the performance and screen quality are pretty good, I am satisified with it but not exactly thrilled with the issues that it already has.

I’m a Mac user 99% of the time, but I’m also a gamer. Despite Apples best efforts on the hardware side, they still don’t have the support they need on the software side just yet for serious gamers. So in the meantime I decided to search for a Windows machine powerful and snappy enough to not make me want to pull my hair out. I searched far and wide, but was constantly disappointed and kept returning the computers I bought because I couldn’t find “the one”. Well my search is over. This one is it. The power this thing has is insane, and it’s not that thick and loud either, which is a huge plus for me and what I’m used to on a daily basis. I have built and owned desktops in the past - I’m not a huge fan of them. I like the ability to move my computer easily. I have a thunderbolt dock connected to all my peripherals and a 32” LG Ultragear 144hz 1440p IPS monitor. One cable in to my MacBook Pro, or my Zephyrus M16 is all I need for a viable desktop experience. I 3D printed a vertical stand to hold my laptops and operate in clamshell mode, and this setup works for me. My gaming setup is well rounded and best of all - versatile & portable. The RTX 4070 does not disappoint in my experience. The i9 is very snappy and responsive. I upgraded to 48GB RAM and 4TB storage. This thing is a beast.

This laptop is amazing, I’ve gone through two laptops before this one and so far it’s the best. The screen is the perfect size and very vibrant. This laptop handles my architectural softwares very smoothly with zero problems. Doesn’t heat up like other laptops. The only thing I have mixed feelings about is when I plug in the charger, the screen shuts off for only one second but continues where you left off, the battery life last long.

This gaming laptop has all the specs and features you’d ever want. 240Hz 16” QHD screen is beautiful, fast and deep colorful experience you’ll never go back to any other technology. The laptop is brilliant, light and performs better than the other famous named laptops I’ve had. It is future proofed with an Intel I9 and a 1 TB SSD drive. The graphics card is better than my 1 year old gaming PC which I spent more money on. It’s ok, now I can enjoy the powerful gaming of this Zephyrus wherever I go!

I Just bought this laptop last week. Played hogwarts it the screen was really good and the build quality is really impressive. When you play high demanding games probably you need to use turbo mode or manual with full max speed. So far very happy with the purchased bought it with $500 dollars off. This one doesnt have mini led but its fine not much of the difference to be honest.

The device is excellent and has descent battery backup considering it's a gaming laptop. Display looks good. It gets very hot when performing heavy tasks. Plus if you use it without charger, and open 12 + tabs in google chrome, it becomes very laggy. Front Camera and mic is below average

Very nice product only thing is that with a gaming laptop This gets hot so i suggest buying a cooler with it. Graphics card is great speed on designing is also great. Using flight simulator with controls and oculus works very well. I would recommend this laptop. With a cooling system.

I bought this computer for school, as an engineering major. It has worked wonders. It easily processes programs such as Solidworks and other cad. The display has pretty cool colors and everything is in 4k quality. The speakers are insane. They are super loud and clear. I never have to use them on full volume, otherwise my neighbors would be able to hear. The battery life lasts a long time if the computer is only being used for browsing/office work. It tends to need to be plugged in when gaming or running large programs. It is pretty heavy, especially if it is carried with its charger. But overall, it has been pretty strong and reliable.

Absolutely love this laptop. I was originally bummed it doesn't have the mini led screen but honestly the screen that come with it is amazing! This machine plays any game on pretty much max settings without a problem

I've been using the ASUS ROG Zephyrus M16 since about the beginning of April now, and it's nothing short of impressive. The performance is phenomenal, thanks to the Intel 13th Gen Core i9 processor and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070. Whether it's for gaming, video editing, or any other intensive task, this laptop handles it all effortlessly. Though I would advise further research on this laptop if you're expecting to use any Adobe Cloud Software. This may be my own skill issue and am pending further research on that portion. For gaming purposes however, this laptop has been perfect for me as you can tell from my desktop! The battery in short, is best to view the laptop and battery charger as one whole unit if you're expecting to play any game for more than 2 hours. The 240Hz QHD display is a standout feature, delivering smooth and vibrant visuals that truly enhance the gaming experience. The build quality is solid, and the sleek design makes it look as good as it performs. Now, regarding the cooling system: it's exactly what I expected based on other reviews I've come across. It's not bad, but with a machine this powerful, some heat production is inevitable. No matter what brand of thermal paste you use to replace the stock paste with, a top-tier gaming laptop like this is going to get warm during heavy use. The cooling system does its job effectively, keeping temperatures within acceptable limits without causing any thermal throttling for the specific laptop unit I received (open box, and perfect condition, seriously). In summary, the ASUS ROG Zephyrus M16 is an outstanding gaming laptop that delivers on all fronts. It's powerful, beautifully designed, and provides a top-notch gaming experience. Just be mindful of the heat during extended gaming sessions, which is par for the course with such high-end hardware. I plan on going into further detail on specific specs once I spend some more time with some of its further features when the time comes.

Asus Zephyrus line has been the low-key gaming laptop of choice for me for the past two generations. I had the G15 2021 3070 RTX Ryzen model and updated to the M16 2023 this year. This upgrade was substantial moving from a 165 Hz to a 240 Hz screen a 13th Gen Core i9 and an RTX 4070. I was able to upgrade this to 64 GB of DDR 4800 RAM and there was one free m.2 slot for another 2 TB Drive. Unlike the G15 I had, this one allows both RAM slots to be upgraded, the G15 had one 8GB of RAM soldered to the mainboard. This made the upgrade of RAM a bit awkward. I was considering a 4080 RTX model, but the price premium was not worth it to me and it seems that the 5000 series RTX is already being leaked. I have a gaming desktop and like the portability and power consumption of this device, particularly in the warm summer months. I also like that this model came with a webcam since the G15 did not. The laptop games well, but will get hot, a chiller pad is recommended.

This laptop is great. I got lucky that I got it at a discounted price so it was well worth for me. Some pros and cons: Pros - looks good aesthetically -love the rgb keyboard (changeable in settings, when unplugged, it’s turned off to save battery) - performance is good (comparable to PC but will go into that) -perfect size to bring anywhere -screen size is great for gaming Cons - heats up quick especially when gaming (i would say this is expected) - performance is good until you play at a longer rate (it happened to me once that it lagged a little) - laptop and battery is a little heavy Overall I would purchase a fan for my laptop for the heating issue but again it’s expected because of its performance.

Very satisfied with this laptop. I got an open box excellent for around 1380 after taxes. It had some small scratches/chipped paint on the outside but besides that it worked great. This was my first gaming laptop so I didn’t have much expectations, but I was blown away. The 240hz monitor is great, there is faceid, the laptop has a sleek design, and the fans work great. I bought it to just play Fortnite and I get over 200 frames in battle Royale on 1080p with performance mode on and settings on low. 300 frames in creative. Would definitely recommend this laptop, I hope it lasts me a long time.

The ASUS ROG Zephyrus 16 is extremely capable of gaming at even the highest settings. The Pros involve that It has a fan control, an adjustable RGB keyboard that you can change to whatever color you want, and a GPU and you will get around 100 fps in games with very high settings. The keyboard feels nice. There are many different modes of performance for the laptop although if you are going for trying to push for the absolute highest FPS be prepared to have the laptop sound like an F-16 fighter jet trying to take off but it also has good airflow. Customers of this product please note that the Bestbuy saying it has a mini-led/led display is not true nor does it have HDR. The RTX 4070 has 8 GB of VRAM and is not performing equal to an RTX 4070 of the desktop version but rather an RTX 4060. Still, you receive the latest RTX features including DLSS and AV1. It is also recommended that you update the drivers except for the Intel graphics one as their not up to date upon purchase. Overall it is a great gaming laptop that I would recommend to a friend.
