Customers are delighted by the TUF Dash 15.6" gaming laptop's impressive performance, lightweight design, and portability, making it ideal for gaming on the go. Many appreciate its good price and the option to easily expand storage. ASUS Tuf Dash F15 (2022) 3070 RTX

THIS REVIEW IS FOR ASUS TUF DASH F15 (2022) If you want a barebones powerhouse at a fair cost this may be an amazing buy. I purchased this at 999 usd, would rate 3 stars if purchased at full price ($1500 usd). Pros: lightweight without feeling cheap, portable (thin), 3070 graphics card, 12th Gen i7 CPU, ddr5 RAM, affordable Cons: gets HOT. If you play games in bed, your system will likely be consistently over 90 degrees Celsius if you’re running something somewhat demanding (even with fans howlin) Display/ panel: has trouble transitioning between different greys/ blacks (huge issue for me), colors are fine but don’t pop, 144hz refresh rate is good but not great, screen doesn’t get very bright Webcam is meh (720p), no RGB keyboard (if you care), battery dies faster than other laptops (3070 draws lots of power, laptop doesn’t hold much charge relative to some other gaming laptops) mw2 benchmark: 99 avg fps with some cpu bottleneck at (almost) max settings.. Used nvidia’s “optimized” settings, (not quite as close to maxed settings as 1st benchmark) Avg 100fps, no bottleneck, Summary: while this all-business, no-frills gaming laptop does have a 3070 graphics card and 12th Gen i7 processor at a great price, it isn’t designed well enough to experience its full potential. A competitor had a similar laptop on sale for the same price ($999 usd), with a 3060 gpu, 165hz, and liquid metal to help cool the cpu. It benches about 8 avg fps slower than the ASUS TUF DASH F15, both running the same settings, BUT its cpu consistently stays around 10-14 degrees Celsius cooler. For me, a few extra frames isn’t worth the headache/ stress of knowing I’m cooking my cpu. This laptop would probably benefit significantly from undervolting. TLDR; Not much to look at but gets the job done. Buy it on sale and see if you like it.

I’ve had this laptop for 9 months now and I can confidently say it’s the smoothest and most reliable laptop I’ve worked with yet. The Great: - I can run a lot of high level games no problem averaging minimum 60fps and it doesn’t get too hot either, with the heat getting distributed well and away from most keyboard keys. - I can develop games with ease both on Unreal and Unity alike without ever worrying about things crashing. - The VRam is high enough that I also have no issues editing videos or 3D modeling in 3DS max. - Softwares and games download very quickly. - The screen has little to no backlight bleed. - The fan can get quite loud on Turbo mode, doesn’t get too loud on Performance mode, and is practically inaudible on Silent mode. - Even when running photoshop on Silent mode the device doesn’t get hot. - The design is absolutely what I was looking for when buying a gaming laptop and doesn’t have that cringy gamer look while still having nice gaming elements like the white WASD key. The Not So Great: - The low built-in storage amount can get eaten up quite quickly considering the games I have/make so that is my only gripe which can be solved with external SSDs so it’s not the biggest issue. - The screen colors are definitely not the most accurate or brightest and makes working with photoshop a little hard. - Sometimes I wish there were more usb ports, but at least it has a good mix of USB-A to USB-C - The device is quite heavy and I do complain sometimes of my back hurting from carrying it all day for college. Overall I definitely found the pros outweighing the cons especially considering the price it’s listed for.

I have been using this laptop for a week now. So far, everything works flawlessly. Battery drains fast, but this is a gaming laptop with an RTX3070 GPU, so it is acceptable. Can achieve maximum power of the laptop when working while plugged in using the 200W charger. I had no problem modelling in Blender and Unity even with just the batttery. Works, flawlessly with Oculus Quest 2 via airlink, have not tried using cable yet. Can handle VR graphics better than my other laptop with RTX3060. Also I was also able to verify that it can be charged quickly with a Chromebook 65W USB-C Power Delivery charger. I love this computer. Rendering lights and reflections in Unity is a breeze. I was able to easily add another M.2. SSD and it seems to work with 4 x 4. I am getting a read speed of 6k+. Portability is great. It is so light yet powerful.

I purchased the ASUS TUF Dash 15.6" Gaming Laptop last year, and I couldn't be happier with my decision. From the moment I powered it on, I was impressed by the sleek Off Black design and the high refresh rate 144Hz FHD display, which makes gaming incredibly smooth. The Intel Core i7 processor and 16GB of DDR5 memory ensure lightning-fast performance, whether I'm gaming, streaming, or multitasking. The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 GPU delivers stunning graphics and handles even the most demanding games at high settings without any lag. Storage-wise, the 512GB PCIe SSD provides quick load times, and there's enough space for my essential games and applications. The TUF series durability also gives me confidence that this laptop will last for years. Overall, this laptop is a beast for gaming and productivity. If you're looking for a powerful, stylish, and reliable gaming laptop, this is a fantastic choice. Highly recommend!

Best mid laptop i ever tried, The ASUS TUF Dash F15 is good for gaming. It's available with Intel 12th Gen. CPUs and NVIDIA discrete graphics, which are powerful enough to provide a smooth gaming experience in demanding AAA titles. It gets hot and loud under load, but thankfully, its performance doesn't drop, so you get consistent frame rates when gaming for an extended period

Laptop is surprisingly great. Not for someone who wants a quiet one though. Great for gaming at 1080p high refresh rate. I love the metal top and keyboard area. Though it is easy to see fingerprints all over it. The touch pad is big and I haven’t had any issues with it so far. The full keyboard is a must have for me and overall feels great to type on. I do wish this had more USB ports. Another issue I have is all the ports are on the left side of of the laptop other the one usb on the right side. So if u have a few things plugged in to the ports the left side is just a mess. The air flow mostly dumps the hot air through the back vents. Upgrades for this laptop are pretty slim. You can upgrade the two ram slots, and you have two m.2 nvme drive which one is already populated with the ssd that comes with the laptop. Overall it’s a great midrange laptop if your looking for a great time. Most games at 1080p will get you about 80+ fps at all the settings maxed. So I’m very impressed this in my opinion is the Best Buy at this class

Completely amazed by this product. Asus did a great job in putting together best of all world's. RTX 3070, i7 12th gen, 16 GB RAM, 512 GB best in business SSD, crisp 144Hz display, giant trackpad, build to last yet slim chassis, the list goes on. All for $1200. I'm an engineer and a gaming fanatic and needed a laptop to fulfill all my needs. This product not only met all those but exceeded my expectations to what I paid for. If you're looking for a budget, performance heavy laptop, pick this one. Additionally, in case you're wondering about heating issues (since couple of my friends asked me the same question), don't worry as ASUS took good care of it in this one. Cooling fans do get loud but it's inbuilt AI Noise Cancelling take care of it whenever I'm connected over chat with my friends playing COD MWII. It took me over a month of research and web browsing to pick this one and hands down is one of the best tech purchases I have ever made. I completely trust ASUS with its products now as before my purchase my brother bought the Zephyrus G14, which is another laptop that hits the sweet spot just right. Thanks Best Buy for making the purchasing experience swift and easy. Your in-store staff was really courteous and attended all my questions and concerns, efficiently.

I've had this laptop for a little while now and to be fair I was a bit concerned with the noise and battery life considering it was a higher-end laptop. But this laptop blew everything off the walls! There are so many features that are just so nice like a "snipping tool" button or being able to change fan speeds with a press of a button. The display is amazing and the games run so well. The laptop gets a little hot but man does the fans ever do work. I launched Forza and warzone and played both comfortably on MAX settings. I can't say enough about this laptop the price for performance is off the charts. This is twice as fast as my desktop if that tells you anything. The frame is metal on the screen and a good quality plastic on the bottom and it feels amazing all around. As for battery life, I can play Forza on max settings for about 3 hours before it would get on 20% but I watched youtube for about 7 hours on a full charge and was only at 50%! If you're thinking about getting this laptop, do it, it is so worth it I have no complaints good day.

I love this laptop. Heavy workload throughout the day as I work customer service, but it handles everything without a hitch. This would be one of the best laptops for light gaming as well. Processor handles heavy tasks with ease. This is all in all a great laptop for anyone who might need an all in one they can take anywhere. I did also want to mention the exceptional build and sturdiness of the laptop. I travel a lot and it’s perfect to bring on a flight without being afraid it’ll knock around too much. Laptop truly feels life proof. Would recommend to anyone looking for a travel friendly all in one laptop.

I originally bought this for the use of auto cad software. Haven’t needed it for that yet but I play PUBG on it regularly. Im new to pc gaming and am still figuring out all the keys. So far it’s been great! It has a ton of features that I know nothing about. My brother in law who’s a tech guy told me to buy it. I’m not disappointed at all. Battery life isn’t that great but I keep it plugged in on a desk.

Love the improvements over last year's model. It finally has a webcam, although it's not the greatest quality; anything is better than nothing when you need to make a video call. It also has a number pad this time around, which is great! I also feel like the ArmoryCrate software works better, as it doesn't seem as buggy when I try to switch fan modes and such. My only complaint is that the battery life is not great, even when doing small tasks. But I won't be letting that lower my overall review since I got this for a great price just a couple of weeks before Black Friday.

Bought this for my son who plays a LOT of Fortnite. The machine is a beast for that purpose but it won’t hit ultra settings on all dimensions (you’d likely need a $3k+ rig for that). I also added an additional 1TB SSD and an additional 16 GB ram card, GeekSquad helped me on that and those guys are awesome. 100% recommended for anyone into non-pro level gaming, all games we’ve played so far work great (e.g., Halo Infinite, Forza 5 and Fortnite)

My first pc in my life and Im not disappointed. I've been able to run every game I've wanted to play smoothly. I havent had any fps issues in any game except for games woth optimization issues, meaning that its the game's fault not the pc. Only thing keeping me from rating 5 stars is because of cooling issues but to be honest just about every gaming laptop has that issue aa far as I know. If you're looking for a gamibg laptop this one works really dang well, just buy a fan with it and you are set.

Laptop has a sleek minimalist design without the rgb that I hate. Pros: GPU 3070, 12th gen i7 cpu, 144hz refresh rate. Expandable ram and storage. Can handle most tasks even if you are into content creation. Cons: Battery doesn't last long with gaming but it is expected with the thin and light design. I noted some fps drops even on light games like albion online. Happened to me a few times while gaming for more than 3 hours even with good ventilation as the laptop is elevated. Good for streaming but you may wanna add a webcam as vid quality is only 720p. All in all a well rounded laptop that would be good as a main computer. Bought it during black friday so it really is a steal for 999 usd. This is future proof for atleast 3-5 years as long as you take care of it.
