The Asus Tuf F17 with the 11th gen I7 is a fantastic value option if you are looking for a decent gaming laptop. It has a great screen, and it's very upgradable. As you can add a second ssd to store your extensive steam library. And you can upgrade it from 16 gb to 32 gb with ease. My only word of caution is that upgrading from 16 gb to 32 gb is a must if you are working with 3d rendering programs, or you are trying to play modern triple A tittles. So when purchasing this laptop. Just keep in mind that you'll probably end up spending an extra 200 dollars on a 2 tb Samsung SSD. And an extra 100 dollars on upgrading the ram from 16 gb to 32 gb. This means that it'll take an extra 300 dollars to turn this laptop from a decent gaming laptop to an absolute beast. But you can make that upgrade at any point. Which is a major advantage this laptop has over Apple Silicon laptops. Where you have no upgrade options. This laptop needs a bit of upgrading to keep up with modern gaming laptops. But if you are on a budget then this is laptop to pick.

I bought this to replace a broken laptop of the same type. The computer has great features: good speed, well-built and solid frame, nice keyboard feel, numerical keypad on the side, and pretty good battery life. The TUF Gaming series by Asus have provided years of good use and I'm confident this will be the same.

This is, by far, my most favorite laptop I've owned to date. It's lightning fast. The customizable lights on the keyboard are a nice touch. The expandable ssd storage is awesome and will be needed. This was well worth every penny. Highly recommend this laptop. (I should note that this is my third ASUS- they're ALL great and never disappoint)!

Great graphics, doesnt lag. Battery life is decent

I don't give 5 stars unless something is exceptional. This laptop is nice and does what I need it to do. The number pad is small so it makes using the calculator a bit difficult. It's also supposed to be for gaming and I guess most people don't use the number pad but I do when playing an mmo. It is upgradeable to windows 11 which is nice.

This is by far the best laptop that I have ever owned. Worth every penny! Would highly recommend.

Fantastic Mid Level Gaming Laptop easily upgraded, you can start gaming right out of the box but to get its full potential add another SSD for your games and boost it to 32 Gigs of memory. I play Apex, Halo, Doom, Doom Eternal, Deep Rock Galactic, World War Z, LEFT4DEAD 1 and 2, Call of Duty Black Ops, Black Ops 3 and Infinite Warfare as well as Dead Space 1 and 2. All play beyond expectations. If you have a budget and can find this BUY IT… Oh I also added an Asus TUF Gaming VG35VQ 35” Curved HDR Monitor (works together flawlessly) and a gaming mouse and KB but the laptop will take you where you want to go on it's own...

Great product but I am extremely upset because this laptop did not come with Windows 11. Instead, it came with the outdated Windows 10!! I had to spend an additional $134 plus tax for Windows 11 considering the $1600 price tag for the laptop. Again, great product but outdated Windows.

Pretty awesome so far. I bought this laptop for software engineering courses. It does have more muscle than required for them but I foresee it being something I can use well into the future. If you purchase, make sure you do all of the Nvidia stuff and it will auto clip some of your games that you play. I wouldn’t think twice about buying it again.

Love it. This is a very fast, easy to use computer. I bought it to run AutoCAD for my landscape architecture business and so far it more than meets my expectations. A business friend of mine wishes he had bought one like it.

great laptop except keyboard lighting,its either flashing all the time or off?? i just needed backlighting,,one color,,not flashing. it does get hot also,wonder how long that will last,heat is not good!! other then those two its a great laptop

I do not game I bought this laptop for video and photo editing and it does a great job! The only downside I see is the keyboard gets warm with heat from the fans. I am guessing that might be normal with gaming computers but I would rather it vent out the bottom or back and less from the keyboard.

Purchased this for my grandson for college. He is an Engineering Student. Perfect choice, has all the requirements he will need to succeed. Very satisfied
