Performance:
I picked up the ASUS TUF Gaming NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER Overclock from Best Buy, and it has completely transformed my gaming setup. This monster card handles anything I throw at it with ease, delivering silky-smooth performance at 4K with all the bells and whistles like ray tracing enabled. The factory overclock is a nice touch, giving you that extra boost out of the box. DLSS 3 support means I can push visuals further without a drop in frame rates - it's like magic.
Cooling and Build Quality:
The cooling on this card is top-notch. Those Axial-tech fans keep everything whisper-quiet even under load - seriously impressive. The build quality screams durability; you can tell ASUS didn't cut corners here. The metal exoskeleton not only looks tough but seems to help with cooling as well. I've run it through some grueling sessions, and it's stayed cool and stable.
Design and Aesthetics:
The aesthetics of this card are perfect for any build - sleek, black, and with just the right amount of RGB to make it pop without being gaudy. It's a large card, so make sure your case has the room, but it's worth it for the performance and look. The TUF branding adds a nice touch of style and substance.
Software and Overclocking:
Best Buy included the ASUS GPU Tweak III software, which is user-friendly and lets you push this beast even further if you're into overclocking. Monitoring your system's health is a breeze with this software, and everything integrates well with NVIDIA's latest drivers, ensuring you're always up to date.
Value:
At Best Buy, this GPU feels like a steal for the performance it delivers. If you're looking for an upgrade that will last, this is it. The price might seem high, but for what you're getting in terms of performance, build quality, and future-proofing, it's an investment that pays off every time you boot up your favorite game.
Conclusion:
I can't recommend the ASUS TUF Gaming RTX 4080 SUPER from Best Buy enough. It's an absolute powerhouse that has exceeded all my expectations. From performance to cooling, design to value, this card checks all the boxes for a top-tier gaming experience. If you're serious about gaming, this GPU is a must-buy. Five stars from me!

Unboxing this graphics card was definitely surprising - coming from a 3080 that I thought was massive, this card is even bigger. However the ironic thing is that the card itself is actually smaller - the heatsink is extremely large. It fits in my Fractal Torrent case as a "snug fit" (and it's a fairly large case) with a 420mm AIO in front, and not sure if it would fit in any smaller cases.
So far it has performed without a hitch - running fairly quiet and cool. One small note is that if you do want to disable the LEDs, you can do so by unplugging it from the header - on the bottom of the card near the PCIe connector, you will see two black plugs. The LED is the smaller of the two. *Doing so may void your warranty*.

This GPU is a 1440p beast!! It is a beefy graphics card but performance and temps are incredibly good. Could be priced better but if you got the money you can’t go wrong with this gpu. Make sure that your case can fit this gpu the power cable adds about 2 inches in width.

This card is a beast. I started with a 4070 Super and returned and exchanged if for this. Boy am I glad I did. It handles anything i throw at it. It has two operating modes, Performance and quiet. Even in performance mode it runs cool and quiet. Does 4k Gaming in Microsoft flight Simulator easily. 4k Video editing which I have not tried yet, should be a breeze. This card is well worth the price. Get this graphics card you won't be sorry. Just make sure you have the case to fit it, it's huge. It also requires an 850W power supply. Doesn't have a lot of pretty RGB colors but well worth the investment.

12900k, MSI z790 max, 1000 W psu, 32gb ram, and Air cooled, and finally the RTx 4080 super.
I built this my self for the years ahead. This card is the cherry on top despite its design and build. On performance mode, it’s still incredibly quiet. For someone who is developing and using URE5, this card is a must and is most definitely worth the price. As far as gaming, I’ve only tested a few and it destroyed 4k heavy loads ultra settings avg 80-144hz(max rfr of monitor). Look, if you want to wait for the 5000 series, be my guest but the price to performance ratio will not be pleasant to the eye. This card is a flagship of a card in every aspect. Premium to the core and Best Buy is a trust worthy source to pick this card from. Trust me, it’s worth the investment over the long run.

I upgraded my PC with the ASUS TUF Gaming 4080 Super, and wow, what a difference! This card absolutely shreds through any game I throw at it. I'm consistently getting high frame rates at max settings, even in the most demanding AAA titles. The visuals are stunning, and gameplay is buttery smooth.
My only gripe? The price tag. These high-end cards definitely don't come cheap. But, if you're looking for top-tier performance and you're willing to pay for it, the ASUS TUF Gaming 4080 Super delivers in spades. I'm extremely happy with this purchase!

Performance increase of 30 to 40 percent over the 3080 that it replaced. This video card is large: 348mm long and just over 3 slots tall. But it idles at 22 degrees Celsius in my setup. Have not seen it break 40 degrees while gaming. It just makes it seem effortless.

This card has been an absolute dream. I had quite the backlog of games because my computer was so old. I got this matched with a 7800X3D and it's been a great 4K. I've been able to hold 120fps on games like Black Mesa\Battlefield 2042.
If I had to pick a downsize, I would simply say that it's a very large card. I'm so glad it came with an aluminum magnet stand for sag support too.
Can't recommend it enough

What can I say, it's a Beast of a GPU, the Asus TUF Gaming OC RTX 4080 Super is a Top Tier piece of equipment. I game at 1440P/240hz and depending on the settings and the game of course, it's typically always over 150 fps. It runs cool and quiet, doesn't use any more power than my RTX 3080 that I had before it.

Bought to match with my ASUS TUF GAMING GT502 Computer Case. It comes with a GPU holder to prevent the large sized card from sagging. It’s unique because you can pull it out and it turns into a screwdriver. Nevertheless, best graphics card money can buy besides the overkill 4090.

Amazing card, everything defaults to the max with RRX on, frame generation is bugged but it is what it is.
Love that I was able to walk in to a retail store and buy a graphics card it feels like 2016 again!!!!

Now, this is a replacement card for a 3090 Kingpin that died unfortunately. We didn't have a lot of money at the time so we did the progressive payment plan. Trying to get access to that program is like trying to get access to Fort Knox. It just became so irritating that we gave up on it. Ran out the contract paying extreme interest rates due to not having access to the original plan details. (They were unfortunately were lost).
Now, the card has been quite dependable for now. I feel like we're going to start seeing failing 4k series cards here in two or three years. Obviously right after they're warranty. So I always suggest this get a aftermarket warranty plan that way you have solid insurance on the card.
I use this card with a S90D Samsung QD-OLED 55'' Tv 4k@144hz 10-bit, It doesn't struggle at all with two vertical LG 27" IPS 1440p 144hz 8-bit Monitors to the left & right of the OLED TV. To be honest this card hasn't been above 70c in any case use. She can pull over 400w is properly cooled no issues. I absolutely despise the ASUS Software. Totally a very intrusive software set. So I'm stuck with the Rainbow Puke setting on the leds. Luckily the card doesn't have a ton of RGB.

Look i get it....its expensive......buuuuut once you actually play on this thing it's a game changer. I just upgraded from a EVGA 3080 TI and it was a bittersweet moment because that card is phenomenal. Luckily I can still recoup some money from the 3080 TI, so this card ends up being 5 to 600 bucks. All in all this card smokes every game on ultra settings. Oh btw I'm still running a 5900x. Even with the bottleneck that the CPU causes it still cranking out crazy numbers in 1440p. If you're looking for 4K then definitely grab one of these.

This graphics card sits in a tough spot between the 4070ti super and 4090. I already own a 4090 for my bedroom setup which I paired with my Samsung s89c 4k 144hz tv and my 27inch Msi Mag 1440p 360hz monitor. The 4080 was specifically a cost saving upgrade for my living room HTPC. Was running an Msi 3080ti that kept overheating in my thermaltake tower 300 case. (This GPU runs way cooler) My honest thoughts? If you want to push 4k ray tracing with as much frames as possible without dropping $1800 this gpu is for you. You won’t notice the difference without a frame counter on most games however make no mistake the 4090 is by far the superior card for native 4k. Not running 4k? The 4070ti super 16gig by far is the obvious choice. Save the money and upgrade other components.

I love it them graphics card is off the chain, this thing rocks in my opinion if you spend over $1000 for just a graphics card it better atleast do decently well with all games modern, and this thing does that on over 30 games plus still hasn't been ripped wide open full force 16TB to be seen!

The card has been flawless. Been having nonissues with this item. Its an insanely fast and capable card of running 4k at 100hz. I just bought a 3rd monitor by asus to run through with it for certain games. If you dont need a 4090 and want the best of nvidia. Asus is the way to go. They have higher core clocks and better thermal comparison to other cards. Only one better is the strix version. But this is a solid card and capable even without overclocking.
