Dear Gobucks,
I'm sorry to hear that you are having boot issues with a Ryzen 5000 series CPU. That certainly sounds like a frustrating situation. This board is fully compatible with those processors, but may require a BIOS update. We would be happy to swap the board for you in warranty. Please reach out to me at [email protected] and include case #N2101007953 in your email for reference so that I can get the RMA started.
Thank you for choosing ASUS!

Hard to get MB. Was able to get from Best Buy and they were out of stock as soon as I purchased this board. Board arrived with latest bios for Gen 3 Ryzen, Nice layout easy to install and Wi-Fi works great. Some overclocking ability but why would you. Ran 3200 memory with no problem. All around a very good solid board without breaking the bank.

Love this board!!!! I bought my first one one day one launch of the series 3000 ryzen chipset. When it was time to replace the board in my pc I had only one clear choice. Bios is easy to use. And in os software os very nice aswell. M.2 ports are placed perfectly and tons of room for expansion. Built in wifi is great ive not had a single issues or latency drop that was from the pc itself. As long as they make the TUFF series I'll keep purchasing!!!

Great motherboard and doesn't break the bank. Has plenty of I/O, RGB pins, fan pins. I didn't have any compatibility issues with the BIOS and the 5800x I paired it with. Has RGB and plays nice with the iCUE software. No issues, no complaints, great mobo.

It's been a few years since x570 released now and this is still the go to budget board for me. The only thing it's missing is a usb C front header. It has good power delivery and thermals, an easy to use bios, good ram support, 2 m.2 slots, built in wifi (5) Just a lot of features for the money.

During my build process I had followed reviewers and purchased a Gigabyte Aurous Elite with wifi. Bad luck on that, the board failed to post several times and the wifi was very poor, but rgb was great.
This board was very simple to setup, the wifi was amazing in comparison. Some key factors, Aura rgb needs community fixes to get running correctly, out of box it has failed since 2018. Asus armory needs to be disabled in bios before your OS install, and don't run Asus AI3 suite. Asus handy helper tools like this often cause driver conflicts or just irregularities. Besides that it is a fantastic board, if you can only get one x570 board in a 200$ price range at best buy this is the best choice.

Works with Ryzen 9 3950x

I tried two MSI X570 boards With the Ryzen 9 3950x chip. Neither one would post with the chip installed. I gave up and tried this Asus board. It worked right away without any problems. Asus has very minimal customer support. When you call in you only get a person who is reading from a computer screen. Their knowledge of the products is very limited. That's why I tried MSI first. MSI has great technical support, but they told me both of the boards were bad and even the chip was bad. I sent back two of the boards and one chip for replacement. In retrospect, I think that the bias needed to be updated in order to work with the new Ryzen 9 chips.
This is not a high-end board but it does overclock fairly well. You definitely need 120 mm liquid cooler or better (I have a 140mm installed), in order to do any overclocking at all. I'm running at 4.1GHZ. With Cinebench 2.0 and Handbrake running at the same time, the temperatures are staying in the green (less than 80°C). Cinebench scores range from 9600 to 9666, depending on what else is running. I haven't over clocked the 3600 MHz ram yet.
If you just looking to play games, you're probably better off with a 3900x chip. It's significantly less money and overclocks to nearly the identical speed. The extra cores probably won't help, if anything they may slow you down a little. The installation procedure should be exactly the same with the Asus board.
I didn't want to go into extreme overclocking, because can reduce the chip life or cause a failure. 4.1 or 4.2 is probably the point of diminishing returns. Not all the cores will clock out at the maximum anyway.
The wi-fi works great. Speedtest shows 490 - 520 mbps up and down. With VPN it still shows over 200 mbps
If you're looking for extreme overclocking then you should probably spend a few more bucks and move up to a higher end board, but I'm very happy with the ASUS Gaming X570 Plus (Wifi) mother board.

Good motherboard overall with decent compatibility and overall usability. It has lights on the board to indicate boot cycle and is great for troubleshooting. My only thing to say is that it doesn't work well for usbc builds as the usbc port on the board is the only one you get.

What can I say?! If all you need is a solid well build reliable and stable mother board for moderate gaming, I went with ASUS TUF gaming plus X570!
After I returned two IBUYPOWER gaming PCs. Tthe 1100 dollar system had a ASUS 365 board that over heated big time...not over clocked either by third day of game play, and the 1500 dollar system had an ASROCK hunk’o-junk bottom of the barrel board that would not let me install a fresh Windows 10 and had a monster ugly bios to work with.
I got the ASUS TUF Gaming X570 because it was affordable (less than 200 bucks), and I wanted an AMD system (the IBUYPOWER systems had GREAT components that included an Intel i7 9700k processor). I wanted to build my system from scratch, and I wanted it better than the pre-built systems. I did no research on this ASUS TUF GAMING before I bought it. It was just within my budget, and it was on hand.
AFTER I put my system, I was QUITE pleased with it. I did all the research later, and this board gets a LOT of positive YouTube test videos, AND I’ve not found any negative reviews except by reviewers that want a higher end gaming system. I don’t count these because they could really find no faults with the board except for wanting more higher end gaming functions...like more than casual enthusiast level need.
It is NOT as fast as the IBUYPOWER systems. For example, my M.2 drives ran faster bench marks on the IBUYPOWER systems I bought (and returned for valid reasons: Over heathing and not accepting my Fresh Windows installs). But that said, the benchmarks are still within what would be expected and as advertised. Blazing fast speed anyway is what I get on this board...read/write is super fast (just faster on the IBUYPOWER systems).
My Asus board has never crashed or frozen. The board temps never go past the high 20s Celsius as far as temp. My Graphics card, AMD CPU and memory stay cool and well within normal good temps (never above low 60s on the CPU...the Graphics card stays in the low 40s). I boot into windows from power start button to sign on in about 8 seconds (M.2 drive is amazing). The bios is SO EASY to work with; fairly intuitive and safe to play around with if you are a beginner...just as advertised. I highly recommend doing YouTube searches on functions you understand in the bios. I doesn’t take much time, and you would quickly learn there is a lot of stuff you don’t even need to play with because it’s all taken care of, but if you gotta do something, it’s easy enough to undo it and return to normal/default.
I’m a moderate gamer, and the game of choice (world of Warcraft) is not the most demanding game. The Asus TUF Gaming Plus X570 is perfect for this. I have an AMD Ryzen 3800X, and Corsair Dominator Platinum 3.2 ghz RAM (RGB is cool). I find I do NOT need to over-clock, but I did try some minor automated over clocking, and the system remained super stable, and no over heating with just the AMD Ryzen’s packed cooling fan (The Prism Wraith). I run my CPU on factory Default just because there is no need to over-clock for my needs, but if you needed to, I found no issues with what little automated over-clocking I did do. I have a Corsair 850 power source, and I have both the 8 and the 4 power connecter plugs plugged into the board. Every thing runs perfectly. NO PROBLEMS AT ALL!
I have two M.2 drives on my system. I decided to not have any other drive types and prefer to just use peripheral drives for other storage needs. Both drives run equally fast (Gen. 3X4), so there was no sacrifice. My Graphics card (Nvidia RTX 2070 Super) also Runs at full potential...no lane sacrifices at all and reads at Gen. 3.0x16).
So, for me? I have my gaming needs met, and I pay my bills, watch YouTube videos, web browsing...etc, all work just as they should on this system running the ASUS TUF GAMING X570.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOARD!

Installation is not that hard. However I have a Corsair case that has one cable for USB-C that this motherboard has no connection for. Also it doesn't seem very compatible with Windows. I also can't get it to read a USB bootable device. It also will not read the hard drive I have in the M2 connector. I can connect to a Wi-Fi device but I cannot get internet connection. Windows does not seem to like these motherboards. I have tried everything and have researched everything online and can come to know resolution to the issues. My next step will be to replace the hard drive and try to reload Windows or a different OS.

Used this motherboard for my Ryzen desktop build and I am extremely well-pleased with it. It doesn't have all the latest and greatest bells and whistles, but what it does offer is more than enough for a mid- and even high-tier desktop build, especially given the affordable price point. No complaints with the product itself. I will say however that the first time I purchased this, it would not work and had to be shipped back to ASUS for service (I suspect to update firmware), after which it worked like a charm. I thought I was going crazy when I couldn't get my machine to POST after trying everything, and was mildly miffed that I had to pay for shipping for what was a manufacturer defect, but the item itself is excellent.

Has everything most midtier gaming builds will need plus a little extra to leave room for upgrading and expanding. The one I ordered in March 2021 came preloaded with Ryzen 5000 compatible BIOS and booted with my 5600x without issue or needing to flash the BIOS myself.
Plenty of RGB and fan headers is certainly convenient, and the rear IO pretty much covers all my needs. I honestly can't think of any negative thing so say about this board However, if I could go back in time, I would spend the additional $20 to upgrade to the pro version with Wifi 6, 2.5gb Intel ethernet, BT 5.1, and a couple of other small things that I think are worth the small price increase.

I upgraded from an X370 motherboard (Gigabyte GA-AX370 Gaming K7) and I think I made the right decision for sure. Although this motherboard does not have all the frills/features of higher end motherboards, I actually prefer the minimalist nature of this motherboard. I also like the TUF color scheme.
I installed a Ryzen 9 3900X, 32GB DDR4 2933MHz ram, 512GB NVMe M.2 (and other Firecuda/SATA SSDs) and an RX Vega 64 (Power Color RX 5700XT Red Devil on the way though) and all went well without any issues (POST no problems, BIOS setup was a breeze and even my Windows 10 transfer via sysprep/driver removal went unexpectedly smoothly). BIOS upgrade was easy via the internet and I am up and running. Gaming at 1440p with this new rig (MOBO, CPU new that is) and everything is smooth so far!

I bought this board for a media server and data storage for the home. I won't be using it for gaming. I also haven't used the WiFi. It is cabled directly to the router.
I added an AMD 3400G CPU, 32 GB of RAM and a 500 GB NVME drive for the OS. Also installed are a SATA SSD and two SATA 6 TB WD Red Pro drives in a mirror set. There's an external four-drive RAID attached via USB 3.1. There are two Noctua 120 mm case fans. I used the AMD CPU cooling fan.
So far, the board has been performing flawlessly. Setup was easy and the BIOS is among the best I have used. I like that it has eight SATA ports.
This board has been rock solid in every way, so I would definitely recommend it.

This board has 2 M.2 slots, 802.11ac wifi, and a usb-c slot. That's hard to find on a motherboard priced this low. Could not recommend enough for a under $200 motherboard. Works with all the Ryzen 3 processors.

I really like this motherboard as a midrange x570 it does all the things I need. It has Wifi which is great allowing me to move the computer where I need. I was able to build my computer and as a first time builder their manual was very helpful. The only reason I give it a 4 instead of 5 is because of their RGB controller and I believe it is just the software not hardware. Sometimes it decides to reset to different colors on shutdown or other goofy things. I can just go into the Armoury software and reset it so not a big deal but a little annoying. No issues at all and I like their bios.
