I bought the Wi-Fi 7 Asus BE-92 Nano USB Adapter to install on a Windows 11 Pro Desktop. This was bought to be paired with the Wi-Fi 7 Asus Router BE-96U where I had hoped to take advantage of 6 GHz wi-fi band frequency. It's pretty evident that Asus rushed this product to market so they could be the "first" to offer a Wi-Fi 7 USB Adapter but it seriously falls short of expectations given its current $70 USD price point. The adapter defaults to Wi-Fi 6 Mode and will only connect via the 2.4 GHz frequency despite this computer running Windows 11. Speeds are at max of 100 mbps. Just for kicks, I moved the desktop right next to the router to see if it picks up the 6 GHz signal; it will not. I'm seriously disappointed as there are Wi-Fi 5 USB Adapters way cheaper than this that get better and higher speeds than this adapter. Prior to this adapter, I had a 8 year old Linksys WUSB6400M that used to average 200 mbps. This product does work, but frankly for the money, there are so many better alternatives out there. If this was priced under $40, maybe my rating would be higher but unless you're beholden to the Asus Brand, look elsewhere. Very good Wi-Fi adapter wish I would have bought it a long time ago

This WiFi 7 USB adapter is super compact and gets the job done right out of the box with the built-in driver. Only thing I noticed is it shows up as a WiFi 6 adapter in system info for some reason. I checked with support, and they promised a driver update soon to fix it. Overall, works great and easy to set up.

worked pretty well, has drive embedded in its own USB storage when plugged in. wifi7 worked just fine on my win 11 pro laptop throughput was fairly consistent the box i received did have a sticker on it that says wifi 7 is available on windows 11 and not windows 10, i dont have win10 so i dont know if that is true or not

Got it to connect to 5GHz and it ran speeds around 150mbps download and 50 mbps upload. My issue was latency and whether it’s the adapter or not its too much of an issue for me to keep using it and I’m deciding to try another option. I do have around 7 people in my household all using wifi and so I have to give the adapter credit for what it gave me with so much congestion.

Does not make a wifi7 connection. I use it with an Asus Zenbook Duo with Windows 11 updated to have wifi 7 support, and the Asus BE30000 3-node wifi 7 mesh router. My Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra connects to the router on wifi 7. The dongle itself feels a bit flimsy, and the usb connector is at an angle to the plastic body. The driver is on the adapter itself which has a small readable space identified by windows as a drive. It's old, from July, and has only five options in the advanced section in the device manager. Worse, there is no information on Asus site about this device but any drivers.

I had a desktop computer that didn't have wi-fi so I plugged this in and it worked like a charm. It's fast and super easy.

Used with USB 3.0 port on an older Gigabyte Brix mini pc, never saw anything over 300Mbps using the eero 7 dual band mesh WiFi system with Xfinity 1.1 Gbps service. I ultimately returned this items because it didn't perform as expected based on the specifications stated by ASUS.

I got the Asus BE6500 Wi-Fi7 USB Adapter to use with my HP 360 Spectre laptop. The laptop shipped with a Wi-Fi 6 AX200 adaptor, but I wanted to enjoy the fast speeds with my new Asus Zenwifi BQ16 Pro Mesh system. I dowloaded driver from the Asus support site and installed the BE6500 adapter in the USB drive. I then installed the latest driver. I then went to the control panel and disabled the Wi-Fi 6 adapter and configured the BE6500. I am very happy with the results and have been getting consistent 2.8Gbps speeds. I would recommend to anyone wanting to upgrade their Windows 11 laptop to Wi-Fi 7.

This device was super easy to install. I was getting basing fast speeds with this WiFi7 adaptor and my WiFi7 router.

The dongle works on my Windows 11 Home, easy to install and use. I can get it to connect to my Tri Band router in 6GHz band with great speed.

Bought this adapter to be able to connect my PC to a shared Wi-Fi 7 capable home router. The machine in question is a little older, and runs Windows 10. Build quality is excellent - this adapter has a definite weight to it that isn't apparent from renders. Installation is incredibly straightforward on Windows machines - I just plugged it into a spare USB port, ran the driver installation executable when prompted, and was all set. Easy as that. Haven't encountered any problems.

I bought this for my wifes Laptop as I upgraded to wifi 7 and her laptop was not... super easy, so much faster and ultra low profile! Reliable connection and fast

Very slick install, default drivers on the 'usb stick' that is the wifi adapter. I've moved this around between a couple of systems that needed temporary network access when the local lan wasn't available. Quick and easy, performance so far has been great!

Liar. As others have pointed out, it's actually not Wi-Fi 7. I ran a speed test, and the speed was only 300Mbps, which is even lower than my previous Wi-Fi 6 adapter. It's really disappointing.

Works fine but install was miserable due to poor instructions.
