This Asus mesh wifi system is very robust. We have had consistent, fast, and reliable connections to all of our devices. The set up was very straightforward and easy. The first day we had it, the nodes randomly disconnected. We had the cheapest and worst modem, and had similar problems with our previous router. Once we got a more powerful modem, this system worked flawlessly. We consistently stream in 4k, game online, and run several smart home devices, including security cameras. With this mesh system, we now have wifi all around our property, even in our detached garage. It is an expensive system, but you are paying for quality and reliable internet.

This is the “good-enough” WiFi 6 mesh system for most people. It does a nice job of coverage and handoff, and the units are small and unobtrusive. With white being an option for the case, you can get something that blends into most home decors. A dedicated back channel would be nice, but unless there are a lot of people moving around while doing a lot of streaming, I don’t think performance will suffer.

I have Gigablast internet, but it’s in the far upstairs room of a nearly 3,000 sq/ft home. We bought the router the cable company recommended initially and have always struggled to get decent WiFi downstairs to my PS4 and TV for streaming Netflix/Hulu etc. Both lag terribly so I went to Best Buy and they pointed me to this ASUS setup. It was a simple 10 minute setup to replace my router and I can now stream high definition shows with zero buffering. I placed one of the Nodes next to my PS4 downstairs and hardwired an Ethernet line to the PS4 from the node. My download speed went from around 7MB to 167MB. On the 5Ghz I’ve tested everywhere in the house and it ranges from 350 MB to 130 MB. On the 2.4 it ranges from 50 MB to 80 MB. My wife sits outside a lot and was frustrated before that she would always lose WiFi when she went outside. Now she has a strong signal every time she goes out. This is only day two, but I am very pleased so far with the results. It did exactly what I hoped it would.

These worked perfectly for the first two weeks. Afterwards, I cannot say it's been the best experience. The overall setup is easy and straight forward. Just follow the prompts and keep moving from step to step. The issue I have been experiencing is the main router tends to stop working whenever I turn on my pc that is next to it. I have a 3 story town home and I keep one under my TV and the other is on the first floor, while the router is with the modem on the 3 floor. The speed is half of what my maximum is, but that's perfectly fine since its 250mb once halved. Overall, I think the product is great, but when it decides to not work, it can become very frustrating. I'm hoping that a firmware update will be pushed soon to resolve the disconnect issues.

Good stable wifi throughout my house now. Was using the netgear nighthawk x6 for years but with it being on one side of my house we had to use an extender and it worked okay but my bedroom had spotty signal. Picked up the linksys velop, it gave me a good signal to the bedroom but the same thing happened, I would get dropped off. I picked up the asus to compare and it blows both my previous set ups away. The signal is stable and anything wired to it gets the speed I am paying, while i know wifi cannot get those speeds the signal is stable!!! Will be returning the linksys tomorrow!

Setup went smoothly. Just remember to download the latest firmware after you are up and running. Now I have a great WiFi signal throughout my house and garage with speeds nearly matching my wired devices. After owning this about a month, I can report no problems connecting to my Nest, Kasa, and Govee products ,and Iphones and Ipads. Because of the lack of multiple LAN outlets on these Mesh nodes, I did need to add a Switch in order to wire ethernet cable to the desktop computer and other equipment.

I upgraded to 1GB speed (both up and download) and decided to go with a mesh wifi. Was concerned how well this would hold up with so many devices and three floors to cover versus a tri-band mesh that uses the third band for the mesh network exclusively. After about a full month of use I can say I am overwhelming pleased with the coverage and speeds I'm getting anywhere in my town house. No dead spots and speedy internet! That said, the only place I get to see the full 1giga up/download speeds is via ethernet on the main router.

I love the new Asus XD4 Mini. I used to have the netgear Orbi Rbr50 until they did their updates and screwed up the system. After that my signal would drop and speeds would fluctuate, but no more. The Asus XD4 is wifi6 compatible and works great with my wifi6 android phone and the signal and speed are stable.

It is the easiest mesh wifi setup I ever have. You just need to scan 1 QR code and wait for that to set up. Then you place the rest to place you like to get the best signal while staying within range of the main wifi. It looks good (big fan of white, clean look). The range is amazing, too. I installed a new camera system and it dropped the signal constantly. After installing this, never have any issue anymore.

I needed to upgrade from my old Apple AirPort Extreme. I purchased the ASUS Zen Wifi AX mini based on price point with an eye towards eventually bringing Wifi 6 devices into the house on the next upgrade. The system was incredibly easy to setup with the ASUS Router app. I can finally take advantage of the speed my internet provides. I teach from home and spend a great deal of time on Zoom with no issues. I am extremely pleased with my purchase and the Best Buy card - no interest if paid in six months, can’t beat that.

I needed to replace my Wireless Router, and decided to go with the ZenWifi. My old router was an Asus and I was happy with it so I decided on the same brand. Setup was super easy, took a couple tries to get the satellite extenders to connect. Once that was all done I started to have issues. Many of my devices don't move well from one access point to another, which is the opposite of how the mesh systems are supposed to work. My tablet keeps disconnecting and showing an authentication error. I have to disable the wifi on the tablet then enable it and reconnect. On the plus side, the house is saturated with signal, just cat believe the performance is not better.

The set up was very easy and I am not a tech person at all. Very much plug and play. It works great with my Optimum internet service. We have several laptops and streaming tvs in the house and with all of it going we don't experience any issues, not even with all the zoom meetings and classes! I like that we can place the nodes around the house to ensure full coverage. If you need a router with multiple access points this one is very good and looks nice too!
