I've been an iPhone user for awhile, but recently I've noticed that I've been using a lot more of Google/Android products. Figured I'd switch up but first I need some type of training before I spend hundreds on a new phone. So, I got this phone just to play with and suprisingly it's been a good phone. Something that can measure up to the earlier versions of iPhone. Only thing that's is partially negative is the camera. But, everything else is awesome.

I had just purchased a Phoenix 3 in July 2018 from Best Buy but it was stolen on new years 2019, wasn't able to get it back so I needed a new phone. Planned to purchase the same phone but when I seen the price of the Phoenix 4 I just had to buy it. Best buys price was almost $20 cheaper than any other retailer. I love my new phone and my friend who I bought a Phoenix 3 in November for says he loves his phone and best buy is now his and has always been my favorite store.

I purchased this because my phone battery wasn't holding a charge. I just replaced it something internal was making the battery overheat and not hold a charge. Good cheap replacement but not necessarily a long term option.

Pros: Good camera for an inexpensive phone 8mp/5mp. 16 gb of internal storage compared to 8 in my last cheap phone. Internet browsing is good, if you use a decent wi-fi setup, ATT mobile data is very slow for me. Nice clear 720p screen, easy to see/use. Updated to android 8.1 for me within a day. Cons: Very lightweight, thin and all plastic, I've dropped it twice already, because it's smooth, slipped out of my hand. Button on the back for sleep/ on-off takes some time getting used to. No, it's not a fingerprint sensor.

I was initially a little skeptical given the price point, but was pleasantly surprised once I opened the boxed. Screen is large enough for day to day use and offers decent brightness and contrast. Battery life is pretty decent and charge times are fairly good, though no quick charge support at least with any of the chargers I had on had. There is a decent amount of ATT bloatware that'll need to be disabled, but that should be expected. LG's Android skin isn't terrible and the default launcher isn't that awful either. It's a prepaid phone, so you won'd be getting any updates, ever. Can be unlocked with a bit effort. MicroSD support is nice, you'll need a card pretty much right away though.

Phone has lots of memory, and apps and ability for more apps. Fun to use. Not too large...still fits in my pocket. Takes good pictures. Battery life lasts all day! Much improved over my last phone..a Nokia Lumina.

Bought this to replace Zte phone . Phone works very well, increased memory allows it to run smoothly, info from old phone transferred quickly and easily. Updated to Android version 8. Phone streams video well, doesnt crash, and has good clean up of junk files. Still some bloatware and no NFC ability to interact with LG washer and dryer .

This phone has a much better camera compared to Pheonix 3 especially in low light situations. The camera offers 8MP at 4:3 and 6MP at 16:9 so is flexible for different shots. The screen is much higher resolution giving those pictures extra details. The speed is great for casual games. Minimum bloatware installed. The knock-on/knock-off feature can be disabled in Pheonix 4.

Although I have a standard ATT plan I needed a replacement phone for a cracked screen phone. I picked this up and was surprised with how well it functioned. The internal storage, ram and processor add up to a very smooth functioning phone. Only single negative I can think of is my alarms would turn off for some reason but I'm not sure why and it was probably user error. Over all, amazing deal.

Easy to use, very basic smart phone but gets the job done. Family member keeps loosing phone so we got him this for not a lot of $$ but it does everything we need and then some. Decent pix, but not super quality, but at this price, can;t complain.

I originally bought this phone 6 months ago and loved it. It has the memory to hold a reasonable number of apps, has a slot for an SD card, and is not too big to fit in my pocket. I liked it so much that when I dropped my phone and cracked the screen, I looked to replace it with the same model. And the price is great as well.

This is a good phone for those who don't need all the fancy bells and whistles, although it still does everything you can with an $800 phone, but you don't have to finance it. I'll buy a laptop for $800 before I spend it on a phone. This phone I believe has a better camera than the 3. The 3 camera isn't the greatest. So far this Phoenix 4 phone has been good. If you've had the 3, this is the same exact size so I was able to use the same case. A few changes. The call screen is a solid color rather than white and green. It has a few more features that the older model didn't have. Some notification sounds have been changed. I had to get a new phone because the other one stopped reading the SIM. I had the other one for 3 years, but they are so low cost, it was worth buying a new one.

LG Pheonix Series has excellent quality across every feature. User friendly. Durable. High quality video and camera. Very long lasting battery. Opted for 4 versus Plus because 4 had a better camera quality. Bonus: Long lasting gigh quality at an affordable price.

new to android after windows phone

This is my first Android phone. I switched from Windows phone, which I had high hopes for, but MS decided to abandon support. So far, I actually like my old Windows phone better, but I am adjusting to this new one. The phone itself is actually a very good deal for the price. I am just not used to the Android system, which is considerably confusing to me. There are multiple home screens and as of yet, I cannot figure out how to configure them. I tried moving an icon from one screen to another, and somehow it got lost and I cannot find it anywhere for the last week. My biggest complaint is that to unlock the phone you have to "swipe" rather than just hit a button, and then enter your pin. This seems redundant to me since it has a lockscreen password. So why have to swipe? To swipe, it REALLY wants you to swipe, with a very big pattern. Very difficult, and I usually have to do it 3X. A lot of silly redundant requirements that slow you down. That is not the phone's fault, just the Android system I guess. I realize some of this is just me getting used to the system, but really, a lot of it just doesn't make common sense. I would think by this generation, the labels and nomenclature would be better. Overall though, I am happy for the price. Battery life is very good.

The phone updates to android 8.1 the day you activate it. 720p screen, pretty good for a cheap phone. 8mp rear camera is better than my previous inexpensive one. I bought this because my last phone only had 8gb of storage and 1gb of memory. I couldn't even update the software or install an app. This has double those amounts, enough to download some apps and have a secure phone. The calls so far are clear and the volume is loud enough for me. I also like that it has a dark theme, easy on the eyes.

I purchased this phone for my daughter to replace another LG phone that stopped working. It's similar to the LG Phoenix plus and has pretty much the same features. You can't beat the price for a teenager that goes through phones rapidly.
The camera is good for the price point. The battery life is very good and overall a good phone.

I can be connected with this LG Phoenix smartphone for AT&T. It has a quad-core processor to power apps and games, an 8.0MP autofocus camera for sharp photos and 16GB of internal memory to store photos and apps. This LG Phoenix smartphone has a microSD slot to expand the memory by up to 32GB.
