Great inexpensive phone. Has good graphics, nice front and back camera. Descent speed and made pretty durable. It doesn't have much memory for those who like to DL a lot of apps, but overall it is a pretty good phone. I myself, purchased it for my daughter and she has no complaints.

I purchased this smartphone because of the low price and all the good reviews. The only complaints that I have are the amount of RAM is too low, The on board storage is too low, There is no way to automatically install all apps to the SD Card to save the internal storage, and the updates take up too much space. Other then those, it's a great smartphone.

i needed a cheap smartphone to travel over seas with, which meant it had to be unlockable. the samsung galaxy express 3 caught my eye since it does not have the security concerns like the BLU smartphones do (Google it) plus it has fairly easy to use UI that's the most similar to the iPhone. the phone does not come unlocked out of the box, you have to unlock it thru ATTs website (google it) and it takes 2 business days to unlock it. I want to thank ATT for providing such a service for customers, it's very convenient and makes me want to switch to ATT even more. the phone build itself is very cheap, can be easily damaged with a fall. battery life is great on it, lasted 12 hours with heavy GPS usage, Google searching/Google translate, and even pokemon go. 8gb is very limited, so you'll need an sd card if you plan to take a lot of pictures on this phone. speaking of pictures, the cameras on this phone are terrible, both front and back, don't rely on it for your main vacation camera. once i received the unlock code from ATT, it was easy to unlock and worked on 4G in europe and Japan. all in all good budget phone, i bought it at $50 but at $20-$30 this phone is a steal. just mind the cheap build, low quality cameras, and small 8gb storage.

The best 40 dollar electronic device I ever had. Easy to use, just like the expensive android. I gave it to my kid for games. It is fast and good quality for the price. Great buy.

I am not a smart phone person or much of a touch phone person, I mostly carry a cell phone for emergencies. This phone works great for me long life so I don't have to charge it as often and it mates easy to the blue tooth in my car. It is large enough I can read it easy and my fat fingers can work it. Easy to put time on it online, on the phone or buy a card. Just buy what you need and I don't use much.

My original phone stopped working so bought this as a replacement. This phone actually works better than my old phone. Memory is limited but I believe you can add a memory card. It does all the basic functions very well and quickly. Very good value for the price.

Good replacement for a basic phone

This is my first smart phone after using a basic one for 14 years. I initially had doubts if I could replace my old basic phone with this Go Phone without incurring additional monthly charges. As the C.S. representatives of AT&T gave me conflicting answers, I decided to go to their store, where they gave me a new SIMM card, as the one on my basic phone did not fit this one. With 5 MP the pictures taken with the phone are fairly decent. You can also take videos with it. Good phone to carry around because you never know when and where you will need to takes pix and video. It has a few drawbacks: 1) It has only 8 GB of internal memory. With all the pre-installed apps, I had only about 2.8 GB left. If you need to install lots of apps, this may not be the phone for you even though you can augment the internal memory with an external one using a microSD card. I put a 32 GB in mine mainly to store pictures, music and videos. I do not think you can install apps in the external memory, though. 2) With the phone on but not used, a fully charged battery only lasts at most three days. Overall, I think it is a very good replacement for a basic phone.

The Samsung Galaxy Expressway is a great phone for those on a limited budget. It compares favorably with my Samsung S5. The voice quality and camera are very good. Screen is nice and print is excellent.

This phone has a nice screen and expandable memory via microSD card. But the internal memory of 8GB is limiting, as Google apps, ATT apps, and Microsoft Office apps all want to live there rather than on my external memory card! This often means the phone complains of "no room" to update stuff, even though there is 28GB of free space on my microSD card! (This is bad OS design, where it won't use available space automatically, and bad app design where they don't allow installing to external memory! This is not really the phone's fault.) The phone is not blazingly fast, but adequate. Getting it on sale makes this midrange phone a good deal. (And I had no trouble unlocking the phone through ATT; hopefully this will make it usable wherever I travel overseas.)

I bought this on sale for $39.99 as a temporary replacement for another phone in need of repairs. (I am not using it as a GoPhone. I already had AT&T service.) It works great, and you'll be challenged to find anything better within its price range! But don't expect to be able to install a bunch of apps. I came up against the 8 GB capacity right away. If that would be frustrating for you, you'd be better off going up to a higher price range for a model with 16 GB or more. But this is a great back-up phone for AT&T customers, and is cheaper than insurance in the long run!

After coming from a lumia 640(hard phone to get these days) I needed an android phone. I like this phone for screen brightness and battery life onto of having access to google play. Sorry windows phone but your App Store is almost nonexistent. I think anyone looking for an affordable basic phone or a backup device will be happy with this. My only complaint could be it's size but there are no shortage of simple options from Samsung and other makers with bigger screens. If you can find this phone at the right price you should get it.
