    Worked great right out of the box. Add batteries and go back in time. there are no wires like the old game. The 70s are alive again.

    Nothing spectacular about the Atari player. It does allow you to play some of the old games on either your PC or TV (HDMI connection required.) Most likely, I would not purchase it again.

    There are a ton of old games on this thing. Unfortunately there aren't many really popular old games on it. I played it for a while but haven't touched it in over a year now.

    This is a good purchase if you’re looking for a taste of Ild School gaming! The downside was No Pac-Man and the reviews I had read said there was!

    Was bought for my video game loving young son. I don’t know who enjoys it more him or my husband. My husband is not into video games at all but has a blast playing these old throw backs from his own childhood!

    Often have my grandsons and they like playing the old Atari games. My original one finally gave up after 30 years. Sold it to a upstart Geek who wanted to try and bring it back to life.These simple games don't seem to tire the boys out as do the more complicated ones.

    This console contains the greatest number of my favorite games. The HD is gratifying and navigating the menu seems easier than previous. The wireless joysticks work well (but vintage controllers may be used if desired). [Note: If you want to use paddle controllers, you'll need to provide your own.]

    I purchased the Atari 8 (not gold) from a competitor befor this purchase and found it was incompatible with modern flatscreens. I found that Best Buy had the Gold edition which was supposed to have an HDMI connection. I brought it home and played til my heart was content. I love it.
