After having numerous flights with this Autel X-Star premium, I feel I can give an honest review. While there is hype with a lot of reviews this one is just plain solid from a performance standpoint. Rock steady video and most times I can keep the front props from being in the video footage. As far. And the 4K, if you have something which can play 4K you are golden. The only issue I have had since owning this drone has been An issue with waypoints and the restrictions set by software. Have called Autel a couple of times and calls are answered promptly and thouroughly. Easy to control with good battery life giving me around 23 min of flight per battery usually. High winds and flight activity can drain battery quicker. Not only would I recommend this to a friend, I have already recommended it to several friends.

I purchased this model as an upgrade from the Parrot Bebop I've been flying for over a year. The differences between the two are mind blowing! I honestly don't think there's anything better in its price range. I extensively researched all of the models offered in its category, but none of them could compare to this one. I consider this a direct competitor to the DJI Phantom 3 Pro, based on specifications.

If you are looking for a quad this is the one to get. I have had mine about 6 weeks now and it is easy to fly, has a super great camera and the tech support is the best. When I got mine the 64gb micro SD card that comes with it was dead, I called T/S and I had a new one in my hands in three days. The sunset pic is a screen capture from a video shot @ 4k.

This thing is incredible! I picked this drone because of the specs and the price. The camera quality is amazing and its way to easy to fly. This could do anything from professional work to just messing around and having fun. I love that it comes with a case and a SD card too. Ready to fly out of the box.

I'm a beginner at flying drones. I read a lot of reviews and watched YouTube videos on different aircraft. I knew that if I liked flying I would want a bigger drone than one of those small ones you get to learn on. The Autel X Star Premium got high marks in all areas. It is easy to fly for a beginner. I read everything I could about this and watched more videos before the first take off. I saw a lot of drone crash videos while watching YouTube. I didn't want that. I have about 6 hours of fly time without any issues. I did contact customer service a couple of times with questions. They responded quickly and are US based. The drone is made in the US too, another big plus for me. I have added a photo that I took with the drone. Buy it. Best Buy matched Amazons price.

I did my homework on reviewing all photography drones. This includes all DJI Phantom products including the latest Mavic. Unfortunately, I was one of the customers that got shafted on the delivery of the Mavic. So I decided to cancel my Mavic order and went with the next best Drone out there which is the big Pumpkin Drone! Love everything about this drone including the 4K camera which has a removable gamble and the controller that has all the shortcuts that DJI Phantoms do not. The other factor is the awesome hard exterior case it comes with! The quality of what you get with this drone is amazing! Love this drone!

After reviewing some other products I settled on Autel X Star Premium. The camera takes great pictures and video. Flight time seems to be fairly good. Easy to operate and learn to fly. Transmitter feels good in the hands.

I can't say enough about this quadcopter. I feel it's better than the DJI drones that get churned out. It has great range, 30 minutes per battery, she the 4k video it takes is stunning. The carrying case is included in the purchase which cost extra on other drones and it's size will be allowed to be brought on as carry-on luggage on an airplane. I can't say enough about this drone ... the simple fact that it's orange allows it to be seen SO much more easier in the sky then white DJI drone. I'm very pleased with this purchase.

Look, features, ease of use and picture/video quality are exactly as promised. After flying model airplanes for years I never thought flying a drone would be this much fun

I had a DJI drone it was good but had starting issues did updates still didn't fix the problem. Lost the drone last Christmas so I've been looking around and this is the one that got my attention. Great price lots of nice features and comes with a nice carry case. And unlike the DJI this drone is heavier and I find it's great in stronger winds doesn't move all over the place also the camera takes great pictures to bad it doesn't pan around but it does go up and down. I would tell anybody who is thinking of getting a good drone at a reasonable price buy this one it's worth it

I have been searching for a great drone but the costs were always too high. The DJI line are great but I've also heard getting replacement parts are hard as nothing is here in America. Well I met the owners of Autel at a conference in early November and did a ton of research. Made in America, supported by Americans and the product is amazing! Out of the box and flying in under 2 hours! Almost a 2 mile range and unlimited possibilities! Go get this drone!

I purchased this as a Christmas gift for my son and he loves it. Our whole family loves it !! It was lower priced than another competitor drone and was even on sale. It also came with a great case to store it in and a battery. He has used it a few times and really has gotten some amazing pictures of the ocean and nature scenery. He hasn't figured everything out with it yet but overall it was very easy for him to learn and use. We are very happy with it and would highly recommend it. Great purchase with a great price.

I got this drone after I saw someone with it at the beach. I walked over and took a look and from that point I was hooked. BestBuy had it at a decent price and it flies like a dream. Looking to the next version that will have avoidance built in. This one will keep me happy for a while.

After having the Phantom 3 I wanted to try a little different drone and looked at the X Star Prem. For the money I promise you can't go wrong not at all. It does what the Phantom does and more. Little longer flight time smooth take off and landing and the quality of video and pictures are to die for.

Wanted something different from everyone else going with DJI so I researched the X Star and thought I'd give it a try and to my surprise it is just awesome pictures are wonderful and videos are very clear. It's a must have drone.

This has been an excellent drone, it is very tough as mine has survived a few crashes... The camera gimbals are tougher that you think. The only draw back is when you use the auto land function it has a tendency to bounce and tip over, this is easily over come with a little attitude input during the auto land procedure. I've been using a Google pixel or a Asus 10" ZenTab for the avionics, both a great options especially the tablet with the large screen although it can be somewhat cumbersome, this also means that you have to use a usb type "c" cable instead of the mini b cable that is included. There does seem to be a little more video link interference with the type "c" cable than with the mini b cable. All that being said I love the drone!!

This is my first time flying a drone. Or for that owning a drone. After I had purchased this product I had started getting feed back from friends about this product. It was a little unknow. Nothing bad. But since I have used it. I really like it. It is easy and menuevers really good. Battery life is something I will have to manage. But I understand this is with all drones.

This is a great quad. It's fast, responsive and you can't beat the technical support. These guys go above and beyond! I was going to get the DJI but when I went into Best Buy this quad was in a clear case and was beautiful. Wasn't plain white with a gold strip or two, it was vibrant orange! I left the store and went home and did some research. Needless to say I bought it and so glad I did!
