I got this bike during Black Friday for an unbeatable price, about half the listed price! I’ve been riding this thing for almost a year now and have gone on so many fun adventures (guess that’s where the bike gets its name). It’s zippy while still being robust enough to feel confident on the road. The ONLY issue I’ve had with this bike is that it randomly decides not to power on, even when the battery is fully charged. It’s not constantly, but it’s often enough to be somewhat of a nuisance. Normally if I leave the bike and come back to it 10 minutes later it seems to boot up no problem. So I’m not really sure if this is something other people deal with or if mine is just defective, but I’ve learned to work with it considering I got the bike for such a bargain.

This bike has been awesome. I purchased to help with recovery after total knee replacement. The peddle assist makes it a great tool for that. Now I just enjoy riding it. The fat tires make for a smooth ride and easy to ride on the beach.

I am only 16.7 miles in, but so far this bike is nothing short of a beast to take off with! Will try to update the review as I get more miles in. I also did these 1st miles with a bike trailer with my 3 year old & bike still performed great!

Bought this ebike for my Wife. We camp/RV a lot. She can explore now without worrying about steep hills. It's fast and great power. We both love it. Probably get another one for me. It does well on dirt too.

This bike is so much fun. Easy to assemble yourself. Great for offroad and paved use.

Of all the ebikes on the market, this is the best all around bike. Class 3, front suspension, hydrolic disc brakes, 750w, and on and on.

I live at the top of a steep hill and do a 7 mile round trip commute every day. This bike allows me to cycle to work without worrying about that steep climb at the end of my work day. I've found myself taking it on rides around the area and am amazed at how far i go on a single ride. Im definitely getting exercise in but get to pace myself without worrying about tiring myself out half way round. I bought this bike for the power of its motor and it doesn't disappoint. While it isnt fast on steep (10%+) hills, the difference between what i can do with and without pedal assist is astounding. I turned it off once mid climb and i came to a halt under my own power. The gearing helps me match my power to the motor and the terrain. The fat tires allow me to take a shortcut across a grass drainage basin without worrying about losing grip and the mudguards keep me clean. I'm able to do about 20-30 miles on a single charge and the charger is fast enough for my needs. The bike is heavy which means I cant easily lift it by myself - especially annoying if you need to maneuver it to get around obstacles on the trail. It also meant i needed to spend a small fortune on a car rack strong enough to support it. Takes some getting used to the weight when braking going downhill. Despite it's appearance, its not really designed for rough terrain. The clearance on the crankshaft is low - very easy to bottom out. Its size and weight dont make it super maneuverable on trails. The delay when using pedal assist or throttle can also leave you stuck if you were planning on the assist for a steep hill and stop pedaling briefly. Overall, this bike is amazing. I get plenty of positive comments about it when out and about (only once have I heard snarky comments from peloton wannabees as i blazed past them on a hill climb. Ok maybe twice, but i was too far away to hear if they were saying "cheater!" or "where can I buy one?")

Best Buy's prices could not be beat ! I elected to Pick pick up the Ebike instead of delivered to the house. No problems no issues.

I've always wanted an ebike but couldn't justify the high price with what I would have used it for. And I really didn't want to get some cheap one that probably wouldn't last long nor have the best components. I know, I'm asking for a lot. A great bike at a cheap price. But Bestbuy put this guy on sale at a price I literally thought was too good to be true. I couldn't wait to pay for it. After placing my order, Bestbuy's email and communication through text, was superb. I love that it gave me all the information I would need to have a pretty large item delivered to my home. Also gave me a window of 4 hours on delivery which is kinda unheard of today. Delivery was on time and the delivered without incident. The box is on the larger size so I asked that it be placed directly in my garage. Unboxing and setting up the bike took about an hour or so and all the tools are provided. Although the tools given wasn't of the greatest of quality, it would do the job. I used a lot of my own. If you aren't very handy, maybe use the service that Bestbuy offers. After charging the bike over night, even though it said it had a 70% charge when I was putting it together, I looked at the manual and everything seems pretty straightforward. As for charging the bike, the manual says to plug the charger into the battery first before plugging into the wall outlet. My neighbor who has several ebikes came over and told me his ebike battery got messed up when he did it the other way around, so definitely be careful and follow the instructions. Riding this bike is a pure joy. I was very worried because I have a bad back and thought that riding this for a long duration might make it worse, but so far, the ride is so comfortable, I haven't had any issues. Now, I don't do anything crazy on it and just kinda cruise on flat surfaces, but it's so darn comfortable. Btw, I really recommend the step thru. I'm 5'10" and about 200lbs, I have the m/l and it fits comfortable. Having the step thru makes waiting at red lights or getting off and on so much easier. Pedal assist is awesome, but from reading other reviews, I have to agree this is a slight lag in response. I got use to it quickly so no big deal for me. Also, once you unlock the feature, this bike is capable of going 28 mph, more than enough speed for me. For what I paid and what I got, I'm over the moon with this purchase. Buy this bike, you will not regret it.

Bike is really fun when it's working. Had a number of issues with mine including: bad motor (worked fine for 100 miles but then constantly threw errors), bad front suspension fork (wouldn't compress), broken reflectors, and misaligned brake calipers. Except for the brake calipers (which were very easy to fix myself), everything was taken care of by Aventon under warranty. Support was good and shipments were pretty fast (wheel/motor assembly was the slowest at about a week to arrive). Now that the bike is in full working order it's a blast. Gets me off my butt and exercising and having a lot of fun doing it. If I had it to do over, I'd probably not get the step-thru version. I am using the M/L size since I'm 5'10" but when I have a water bottle attached it's not easy to stand over or step through the frame which kind of removes the usefulness of the feature a bit. I bought a Cloud-9 seat to replace the stock seat due to recommendations by the community, but comparatively, I'd say the stock seat is actually pretty good. Handlebars benefit from an adjustable stem. I also invested in a handlebar mirror, bell, phone holder, and better light (the light is OK, but not great). All these accessories are going to jack up the price of the bike, but all you really need is a helmet. Build quality is very good. Everything from the welds to the cable routing is spectacular. The only gripe I have with actually using it is that the motor and sensor are a bit jumpy. The motor has a delayed kick-in effect which I think is actually good, but the cadence sensor is kinda funky. For example, when stopped at an intersection (especially a highway), you really want to start going as soon as the light changes, but because it takes a minute for the sensor to kick the motor on you have to make sure you've adequately downshifted so you can get pedaling (just like a real bike lol) and you'll be jolted forward when it suddenly does engage. Using the throttle helps a lot, but it does still suffer from a slight lag. Another downside to the throttle is it's all or nothing. It's on or off, there's no using it to hold a speed that isn't maximum. So if you want to use it to help maintain a speed at a weird incline or gear then you have to pulse it, but due to that delay that feels awkward. So in those cases I tend to just throw it in a higher assistance level in a lower gear so I don't go too fast.

Solid e-bike, easy to assemble but note that bike is heavy and you’ll need a bike rack that holds a 73 lb bike.

Love the bike! It's sleek, fun to ride but does struggle a bit going up hill. Speed inhibitor kicks at 20 mph, anything over 20 there is no power, man power only. Doesn't seem to have any help over 20mph. Great color, love the larger tires. I'm 6'1" and the bike is the perfect height.

I love my Aventon Aventure step through ebike. I haven't been on a bike in nearly 50 year. This bike reminds me how much I truly enjoyed riding. Although a little on the heavy side for a bike this beauty promises many hours of riding fun!

I'm fat. Working on being less fat. I think this bike will help. And it is fun too. There's a bit of a learning curve but I love it so far.

Very fun and gets you where you need to go! A must buy for any bike lover.

This bike is super fun and easy to use. It works great overall. I ride it 17 miles to work and 17 miles home. I go up a steep hill for about 8 miles of that. The battery does tend to get hot and the bike has been losing some of its power though. I’ve only had it for about a month so far. Also it said the battery would last for 45 miles but i don’t think it would actually last more than about 25 miles without a charge.
