This is and absolute beast of a bike , have done almost 1000 miles and no issues whatsoever , and i use alot the throttle and highest pedal asist , the battery last super long ,i have tested the range on highest pedal asist and easy made 40 miles and in the lowest pedal assist almost 60 so it lives up for the hype defenetly reccomend it!!!

I am 44 years old 5’8” and 170lbs. I bought the medium size bike. I switched out to an e-bike from a bianchi mountain bike after 24 years of riding it. This bike has been a game changer. I bought one for my 12 year old daughter as well. Some cons: ( though neglible) 1) bike is heavy at 62lbs. 2) when at speed and coming to a 90 degree turn, the bike makes extremely wide right turns. So be careful 3) does not come with a seat suspension so the ride is rough. Though you install a seat suspension as I did and the ride quality is night and day. Definitely recommend purchasing it. Pros: 1) pedal assist torque sensor is excellent. Seemless power at each revolution. 2)ride quality is excellent and smooth (even more so with seat suspension) 3) battery life is excellent so far (1 month if ownership) and I live in a hilly city and constantly riding up hill and down. This will vary depending on a lot of outside variables, so I’m not going to comment on it much. 4) assembly is extremely straightforward. You don’t need outside party to assemble it for you. There is a step-by-step, YouTube video that you can access from the materials in the box. I set it up in 20 minutes. 5) throttle!!! Best feature on the bike. When body is stressed riding up a hill, I can cheat it by stop peddling and let the throttle get me up. It is also a thumb throttle which is the best in my opinion vs the handle throttle. No thumb fatigue!! 6) you still get a work out with pedal assist. Though you are cheating with pedal assist. However, you can turn off the pedal assist level (1 to 5) and ride it while off but you then feel the 62lb weight of the bike. Either way, depending on your fitness routine you can control your cardio workout for that ride. 7) bike looks really nice! I bought one in gray (daughter) and blue (mine) This bike is going to change your way of looking at a bike and overall riding experience. You will want to go longer distances because of support you get with the torque sensor and throttle. My daughter and I rode 30 miles in one week! Now going to hit up Marvin Braude 21 mile bike trail in LA! You will not go wrong with this bike. I looked at and test many commuter e-bikes such as ride1up and others in SoCal but Aventon by far is the best from aesthetics, build quality and components.

Before purchasing, I researched ebikes; this bike consistently appeared to have the features I preferred: More importantly, these features were standand. The Pros: a torque sensor (smoother ride), rear motor (can ride with broken chain), integrated lights, color display, 28mph max speed, 60 max distance, bike rack, fenders, brand name derailers & brakes. Cons: heavy. I priced a comparable Giant ebike a local bike store it was $2,200 + $90 shipping and it did not include integrated lights, rear bike rack, fenders, or color display.

The bike is very impressive. Easy to handle, plenty of pedal assist power, very solid, and super nice looking. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 stars, when ordering the bike, I called up Best Buy GeekSquad protection plan and asked about an extended warranty. They said no problem, when you pick up the bike just tell them you want the extended warranty. But when I picked up the bike, they said SORRY, we don't offer an extended warranty for this bike! Then I called back GeekSquad Protection and they said SORRY we don't have an extended warranty for this product! Now I'm stuck, should I return the bike, pay the 15% restocking fee? Please Best Buy, start working with an extended warranty company. If you buy the bike directly from the manufacturer they offer a 3 year warranty with My Extend.

This is an outstanding commuter bike. In Hawaii, all ebikes must be ridden on the road. So, safety is a must. This bike come equipe with 1. Front Flashlight 2. 3xbrake lights that activate when using the brakes 3. Reflective Tires. The bike is equipped with a rear bag rack which makes it easier to carry bulky, heavy items. Especially a heavy-duty bike lock/chain. The fenders are very beneficial when riding on wet days. No muddy wet back or water splashing on your face. Lastly, 20mph unassisted, up to 28mph assisted helps a lot to flow with traffic in town/city.

This model is a good bike for the price. It handled riding in hard pack sand, pavement, and trails. Average constant speed with full throttle is 20 mph. I had a problem getting on and off the bike because I’m 5 ft. tall and this model doesn’t come in a small size. The small/medium bike recommends 5ft.3inch riders and up. Otherwise a very good quality bike for the money.

Absolutely love this bike! Just the right amount of power can be applied, the brakes are awesome and it is wonderful that they include headlights, taillights and brake lights for safety. Plenty of power and a long-lasting battery. I was able to put it together myself in a little over an hour. Excellent product!

Excellent ebike! Very durable, perfect for commutes. Highly recommend! Only downside is that as it's a hub motor it can't really climb hills as well as a mid drive ebike, but for most usage cases (like commuting on flat terrain in big cities) its perfect for that job. Highly recommend for city commuters!

We have quite a bit of Ebikes. For the cost this is the best commuter. Ride is super smooth, great lights but don't think this has the blinkers or could not firgur that out. Overall super great quality ebike.

Excellent bike, has plenty of power and was easy to assemble. I give the bike 5 stars, BestBuy would not match the manufactures price as it drop 2 days after I go the bike ! $100.

Picked it up on Tuesday, Wednesday Geek Squad came out and assembled it. Wow it’s great to work with Best Buy. The quality and performance of the Aventon Level 2 Commuter is everything I hoped for and more. The knowledge and professionalism of the Geek Squad members that assembled my bike made me totally happy with my decision to purchase from Best Buy. I have only put a little over 50 miles on it but am thrilled with both the looks and performance of this product. I am 78 years old and wondered if I would be up to it but am amazed how quickly I adapted and feel confident. It takes some new learning curves but actually it’s riding a bike,only much better I still am getting plenty exercise. Love the bike.

Love this bike good speed and the lights are a great help

Bought for my Inlaws and they have used them a ton. The bikes are very capable and comfortable to ride for those long bike rides. The bikes have been used for around 100 miles and are running great! Great product!
