This bike is a lot of fun to ride. It’s much faster than you think. It rides like a cruiser with the heavier frame and wider tires. I rode it once in the flats for 10 miles to see what that was like. It was easy to ride in 1st and 2nd and when you were going faster 3rd gear. I really enjoy it. My only issue is gears 1 and 2 haven’t transitioned back and forth as smoothly as they should. The chain rattles a bit, but that might be an adjustment. Overall it’s a very good bike at a very reasonable price.

Love my Aventon Level. Great for my 3 mile commute to and from work. I ride as a regular bike on the level areas and kick in the motor only on the uphills to save my old knees !

I absolutely love the bike! The only drawback is that we had to return two out of three bikes before we got a bike that was decent. They were arriving with scratches and missing parts. So it seems like there is a problem with handling and packaging. The bike itself is amazing!

Uncomfortable riding position handlbar height can't be adjusted. Jerky power delivery difficult to manage comparing to RadCity 5 plus I already own. This bike supposed to be my wife's birthday present but she could not handle it. Abrupt acceleration may be considered unsafe.I returned it and ordered another RadCity

I picked up this bike yesterday, assembled it and tested. Bike looks great but I am considering returning it for the following reasons. Handlebar height is not adjustable and I find riding position to be uncomfortable. I have to lean on the handlebar and my arms get tired quickly. But the biggest issue is that I do not like the way it delivers power. Pedal assist have preset speeds for each level and seems to use full power of the motor to get to that speed and then it would cut the assist if I try to pedal faster. It causes a power surge right after I start pedaling propelling the bike to 12 MPH on the lowest assist level 1. it is the same for higher levels just with higher speed limit setting for each level. It is basically impossible ride with any speed in between. It is something one can get used to but I am very disappointed. I already own RadCity 5 Plus and it does not have this issue. It is applying constant power to the motor which is different for each PAS level so I can adjust my speed with the pedaling effort. Also the motor noise level is much higher in Aventon comparing to Rad. I purchased Aventon for my wife after she tested my Rad and liked it, trying to take advantage of the sale price and assuming that it is going to operate the same way. She does not like the way it works at all, actually she feels it is dangerous. I am going to return it and buy another RadCity.

Love this e-bike rides great especially climbing up hill. Haven’t recharged the battery yet mostly use manual setting. When you press down on that throttle be prepared to take off. A note to the manufacturer it would have been nice to have added a head light and a rear signal lights. There were no issues with assembly.

Hands down the best Ebike for the money. We rented these over the summer and have been reading all the reviews we could find for 4 months. Aventon consistently gets great reviews so we stuck with it and bought with no regrets.

Stylish and sturdy (if slightly hard to control). Absurdly powerful too (felt like riding a motorcycle)
