Love this bike, it’s just like a 10 speed pedal bike which it is with the extra help when you need it and the battery life is great

Very pleased. The bike is easy to assemble. YouTube videos are available if you like to go step by step visually. The integrated brake lights is a nice safety feature, and the headlight is very bright. The range estimates are accurate. I did 20 miles just on battery. I did not use the battery at all to compare it to my Trex road bike and found that with the seven (7) gears I was able to get a sufficient workout and climb those hills with the low gear. The bike is one of the lightest of the E-bikes making it easy to bring in and out of the house. The LCD screen is in color an readable in bright light and records all the data of the trip. The only complaint is that the LCD screen is not detachable for when you park it, subjecting it to vandalism. The reviews from bike magazines also are good. This is a great starter E-Bike at a reasonable cost.

Terrific electric bike, complete with front and back brake lights, with speed exceeding 20 MPH, is well built, and easy to use as a 7-speed bile. Assembly was easy (it took two of us less than 40 minutes (it comes 85% assembled and has great directions) It uses a new type of tube air connector and the connector is not provided.

Very Disappointed! Was Curious to ride this bike so i ordered it from BestBuy, The packaging was great except there are scratches on box with a small tear. The worst thing is i waited so long for order and once i arrived and the geek guy start assembling it and found out that the front metal rod is bent and therefore the tire wont fit in it.

Great bike for the price. I installed Planet Bike full bike fenders. Packaged well and arrived unscathed. Assembly was easy. Shifts smoothly. Power delivery is predictable.

Worth every penny and super easy to assemble. I have already logged 200+ miles on it.

I was surprised at how easy was to build and the video was excellent. The only hook up was the tires used a presta needle instead of the common fat plug. So I had to order a pump.

Probably one of the best purchases I've made in a very long time. I never have to worry about whether or not I went too far and can i get back without dying.

I purchae this aveton Soltera .Yesterday @ when I tried to turn on the power its not working. So i charge over night . Try to Reset & still nor working.

Great bike but you better be 6 feet or better. You will never reach the pedals on a large frame.

Perfect ebike, can be just a regular bike when needed, fairly light, easy, simply perfect

I am writing this review from the prospective of a road biking enthusiast who for many years bicycled the roads in Maine (where I live), Portugal, Montreal, and California together with my wife. We do day trips on both easy and challenging routes and have not lost our love for the sport even as e-bikes have begun to proliferate to older riders of our generation. The reason I purchased a Alventon Soltera 7-speed was for a totally different experience in the immediate area where I live, surrounded by a number of “killer” hills that even the young, physically fit Amish riders strain to climb. Normally we load our bikes on a car rack and travel a short distance to country roads where the hills are less daunting. So being able to hop on an e -bike in my driveway and take off in either direction for a short neighborhood jaunt is an attractive alternative. Also, before we do a road bike ride I need to change into my riding outfit, fill my water bottle, make sure I put my clipless pedal shoes in the car, and place two bicycles on the rack. With my e-bike ride I only need to put on my helmet. I chose a 350 watt bike over the 500 as I wanted something closer to a regular bicycle and not a motor scooter. I also chose an Aventon bike for its comparatively low cost as this was not going to be my primary two-wheel vehicle. I already own two carbon-framed road bicycles and my wife has two carbon-framed hybrids. We each keep one in Maine and the other in California. So here’s my review after assembling a Soltera and taking four 10-12—mile rides up and down some fairly steep hills. First on the plus side. The video on how to assemble a Soltera is excellent. It took me a couple of hours but I was working methodically to make sure I did it right. Everything fit into place although all the controls on the handlebar were set in awkward positions. The numerical readout for the manual shifter, for example, was placed upside-down. All had to be readjusted. The bike ran well, did all I wanted it to do, and my wife liked it too. We agreed to share it and not get a second one. Coordinating the manual shift with the assist to make a smooth ride takes some practice. I used 30% of battery power on a 12-mile trip with both uphill assist and downhill coasting. That comes close to the bike’s 40-mile average range, according to the company. The customer service appears to be very good. When I called about the charger that wasn’t displaying a fully charged battery they quickly offered to send me a replacement. However, I am still waiting to receive it. On the negative side, the motor whines a little too loud although I am used to a more silent biking experience. On very steep hills a fairly strong pedaling assist is needed even when the power is set at 5, the max. (That’s where the 500 watt would have come in handy.) For safety, it’s good to ride with the rear red lights and front light on in daylight although the display dims when these lights are on and makes it hard to see in bright light. The battery does not come on and off easily as the front tire gets in the way. All things considered the Aventon Soltera 7-speed is a good value for the money and fun to ride around the neighborhood. The more expensive e-bikes, as much as $10,000 so I am told, have their place but I would rather invest my money in bikes requiring total human energy.

I like its for taller men. The handle bars adjust which is a must. Has kickstand and is aluminum. Can be hauled on bike racks because at 43 lbs it ok. Mist bike racks are limited to 50 and under.

Great bike. Being only 38 lbs. makes it easy to move around
