I was about to renew my almost seventy a year subscription with AVG when I received this incredible offer from Best Buy. Unlimited devices, 2-year subscription and a tuneup service included! I had Tuneup constantly popping up offering speeding up and stopping screen freeze but I was afraid to get it and mess up my laptop. Thanks to Best Buy, I have it for free and yes, it's worth: No more screen freeze and speed greatly increased. Happy with my purchase!

I got the AVG ultimate for a great price for a 2 year subscription. You get the pop up to purchase extra features every once in a while but works well

If you are looking for a reliable security software this is the way to go, you'll get clean up as well! with unlimited devices, if you want a good deal make sure to get it when it goes on sale, since it's a 2 year subscription its a steal!

This review is for how AVG Ultimate works the Mac portion, or lack thereof. I can not speak on how it works on PCs. Let's begin by saying that I made a mistake in buying this product as I did not fully execute my due diligence prior to purchase. Read reviews and do full research before buying something as important as internet security/antivirus for your computer. This item DOES NOT work with Mac even though it says so in the description. When you buy this item, Best Buy emails you an activation code along with a link to have the software downloaded and installed. The link given to me did not work. A person previously buying it also said the link did not work, red flag there that I read but somehow slipped through the cracks. I called Best Buy customer service and was emailed a guide for installation from the "Digital Download" department. Get a gander at the email below. "Thank you for choosing Best Buy. I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble downloading your AVG Internet Security. I understand that can be a little disconcerting. Let me tell you what's going on. Not known to many is the fact that our Digital Library has a unique compatibility issue with AVG, the publisher of the AVG Antivirus Software. As one of our partners in delivering the best in internet security solutions, working hand-in-hand together, we have created a series of steps on how to go about the download process though their own download servers. Please follow the steps below on how to download your AVG Internet Security. How to Download AVG Internet Security 2014 1. Go to http://www.avg.com/in-en/utilities 2. Type "AVG" on the search field. 3. Choose AVG Internet Security 2014 from the search result. 4. Click on the paid version. 5. Enter product key when prompted. 6. Accept and Install. 7. Sincerely, Best Buy Customer Care" So there is a known compatibility issue with Best Buy's Digital Library and AVG. Hmmm. Red flag after the fact. I went to the AVG website for assistance and found no links to download a "paid" version for Mac. There is a link for a free version for Mac. I spoke to customer service at AVG and was told by the associate that they DO NOT have a paid version for Mac, only the free version. Lesson learned.

Got this anti-virus, internet protection software a year ago as a bundle with their VPN. I liked it as it was not obtrusive at all. It was running on my MAC in the background just letting me know that the virus definitions have been updated and kept current. I bought this package as it gives me same protection for 2 more years for unlimited devices.

I've been using AVG for Business at work for many years. It's the same good and reliable to have this at home.

It really helps you stay protected in many ways. I thought I had ultimate protection that covers everything. In fact, my coverage does not. I’ve had multiple offers from them to increase my protection such as hiding my location for additional fees. Every time I log on to check on things, I get another offer to upgrade my coverage? I’m confused...I still would recommend since it covers more than the competition even without the extras.

The Service for the AVG and works on any device that you have.

I would not have purchased this had I known this was not an installable disc as I have many problems with internet downloads. If you do not have problems this may be good for you...........not for me.

Great product but i bought the software to renew and the download link did not work.

I have been in IT support for 20+ years. Ok anti-virus but slows computers noticeably at boot up and updates which is livable. However on mobile devices the anti-theft location feature failed us. One of our $900 dollar phones sent a final 'ping', however, the AVG website couldn't display the coordinates or map. It literally took support a week to get me to the right person and the data was no longer on the website or retrievable. If you buy and need anti-theft/device location, just consider your device lost and if it works you got a free phone!

I have an account with AVG, so it is an easy set up. Just went to my account & put in the activation code. I use it with my PC & MacBook. A tune up software comes with this product.

It’s a great antivirus however the developer is always trying to sell you more. I have the ultimate edition, you would think it’s enough, but no. You have to have all these other subscriptions it’s selling you. If AVG wants us to buy these subscriptions then they need to give away their software not sell it for $100.

I was not able to download the software. I chatted and reported the issue to Best Buy immediately, till date I have not heard back. It's disappointing that I did not get help from bestbuy
