I took the opportunity this year to upgrade my DVD version of this Christmas Classic to blu ray, and I'm happy I did. Young Lauren Graham looks absolutely amazing in HD. Always a great watch at Christmastime!

This dvd is hilarious and irreverent, but I suspect most parents will find the extreme amounts of profanity + other adult themes (frequent drunken behavior, attempted suicide, violence) to be unsuitable for kids so you'll probably want to watch this one after the kids have gone to bed, but despite all the things I mentioned above I think you'll enjoy it.

Billy Bob Thornton and his sidekick set a new modern record for the number of f-bombs in a feature film. Still, just when you least expect it, the story finds a way to remind us of the true meaning of Christmas that is so often lost in the commercial frenzy. Mix up the eggnog, send the youngsters to bed, and get into the holiday spirit.

This might be my favorite Christmas movie. If you've never seen it before, the unrated version is the way to go. Also has the director's cut version, but I'm not a fan of the edits they made on that one.

This is absolutely a Christmas Movie! In HD and digital, hard to pass up that value. Unrated is definitely the way to go. That one scene makes me LOL every time, you know the one!

Hilarious and irreverent movie, but VERY heavy on profanity + adult themes so most parents probably wouldn't consider it suitable for their kids, but adults will love it. This blu ray version includes 2 versions of the movie (theatrical version + directors cut) so its perfect if you want to see both versions.

This was a purchase to replace a lost DVD. It is raunchy and foul mouthed and definitely NOT for the kids!! I felt bad for the kid in the movie but not for Santa aka Billy Bob Thornton's character! This will not be on the yearly Christmas movie listing in my house! Watch at your own risk.

The first time I saw this movie I was shocked that it was made. I'm not saying it was bad but just the things in there were so freaking awesome.

Growing up this was one of my favorite comedies. I must say I was disappointed in the second one which was made years later. But this movie will go down In my book as one of the funniest movies I've ever seen. And if you buy this set, you get the unrated version as well as the directors cut.

So bad it’s good! Billy bob is hilarious - it’s crude rude and mean but also funny! A Christmas movie for the adults!

This movie is not for everyone, but I would still have to recommend it. The language is deplorable, but that's what makes it a very funny movie. I would recommend it for all baby boomers, butt it will never replace "A Christmas Story" as our generations cult Christmas classic.

This is one of those movies: you hate it, or you love it. I love it because it's a horrible, filthy, explicit tale of a horrible person that finally tries to be better. Billy Bob Thornton is awesome in this movie. Plus you get John Ritter and Bernie Mac included

The movie is a little crude, and most certainly isn't a 'Christmas movie' for the entire family, but for adults, Billy Bob Thornton is very funny.

This is definitely worth picking up for your blu ray collection especially for a christmas movie the unrated version is the best way to watch it

Miracle on 34th Street on the Twilight Zone that's what it feels like seeing that bad santa a wild and delightful movie that you want to see more.so for those who have not seen the movie I highly recommend seeing bad Santa , before Bad Santa part 2 is in theaters

One of my newer favorite Christmas movies. Nice to break up all the happy, mushy holiday favorites with something a bit raunchier and more cynical.

This movie's a classic and it's still hysterical after all these years. The best raunchy alternative to Christmas movie schmaltz.
