The design is amazing small and powerful
The material used is high quality
The sound is great
The noise canceling works very well
It has a transparency mode that helps a lot to use than without to take it out to have a talk with someone that you just met in your run
The only concern is the connection with the phone that sometimes not connect automatically at start

So excited to purchase these and then truly let down. The size was what made me purchase these over the Bose. That was until I listed to them. My free iphone ear pods sound better. Bass and mid bass was bad on all types of music. Just very dirty and distorted. Also volume is vey low. Set up app and everything. Super disappointed as I hve B&O home speakers. Went with the Bise even though they are so big. But sound with the Bose is simply amazing.

Amazing Earbuds, Garbage App

Let's get one thing straight about the folks posting that the volume is too low on these things: there's something about the Beoplay app that, when used to pair the earbuds, messes with the max volume to where they sound terribly quiet. I suspected this to be the case when I downloaded the app AFTER manually pairing the earbuds via Bluetooth. After deleting the app and forcing my phone to forget and pair with the buds again, the volume issue was solved instantly.
Everything else about these things were amazing, from the portability to battery life. I don't sit and listen to music for hours at a time, so 4 hours by themselves without charging in the case is more than enough for me.
The fit can be strange depending on how large or small your ears are. Worst case scenario, they stick out a bit more than you'd like, but they'll still stay in (thanks to the comply earbuds they come with).
The left ear bud issue with it cutting out was never a problem with me, in fact I've never experienced it once. However if I pull the left bud far away enough from the right, it does cut out, which leads me to believe that people just... Have unusually wide heads unfortunately.
All in all, I myself have not experienced a single issue beyond the app being complete garbage. Don't bother downloading it all.

Awesome Sound

Ok first thing is the sound on these things is awesome. I've tried the elite active 65t n it's better then those. Also tried the Sennheiser momentum and although they sound great the B&Os are a bit louder. I love the look on these, they look sleek. And the comfort is amazing. I wear these 4 hours and they don't hurt my ears. These ear buds are incredible. But they do have some negatives. I have these paired to an iPhone and Samsung. When I take them out the charging case and turn them on I have to connect them thru the Bluetooth settings. I just have to connect them by clicking on them on my list. The elite active 65t automatically connect to both my devices at the same time. I can watch movies on one phone and then receive a call on the other phone. Also when I have them in my ear and don't use them cause let's say I'm taking to someone they will turn off and disconnect. I guess to save battery. So I have to turn them on and go to my Bluetooth settings and hit on them to connect. But aside from that they sound ridiculously good.

B&O tried but ultimately failed

I like B&O products, they are premium but they're well-built, stylish, and have top notch audio quality. Their Bluetooth speaker (BeoPlay A1) is one of my favorite speakers. I'm not a fan of their H9i headphones but I enjoy my H7's.
That being said, I'm not sure what they've done with these earbuds but they aren't very good. B&O was able to pack a bunch of tech in here. The touch controls actually work, I like that I can let in outside noise and actually amplify it a bit, and the custom (but limited) EQ is also a nice touch that too many companies look over.
The charging case is compact and relies on USB-C, they even made it textured. The earbuds magnetically snap into place and they're coming out with a new charging case, and stand, that support wireless QI charging.
The earbuds themselves are extremely lightweight and comfortable, I could wear these for hours without issues. The included ComplyFoam tips were my favorite and always kept the earbuds in place. I didn't have to adjust them during an exercise sessions. Their audio quality was also really good. I ended up boosting the bass a bit but the stereo separation, clear highs, detailed mids, and rumbling lows were all a delight for a pair of earbuds.
The part where B&O messed up is the connectivity. These would disconnect from my phones way too often. During a 1-hour exercise session, these would disconnect 6 times. That's just unacceptable whenever other companies (Apple and Bose) have it figured out. At first I thought it was my phone (iPhone XS Max) so I tried them with my work phone (Note9) and the results were the same. There weren't any firmware updates or anything like that. I think it was the review from The Verge that was pretty spot-on with these. There is a lot to love but their connectivity is killer.
I exchanged my pair for a second just in case and the results were exactly the same. I even took them into a B&O store and they didn't know what to do. They had a pair that I could try and they did the same thing. The sales person didn't act very surprised and said the only thing they could do is send them off for repair. So I returned my earbuds and bought a different pair (Jaybird Runs). They were a slight improvement when it came to the connectivity issues so I returned those for something else.
I really wanted to like these earbuds. They are sleek, have great sound quality, the touch controls actually work, USB-C charging is great, and the companion app is easy to use. But it's hard to like a pair of wireless earbuds if they are always disconnecting from the audio source. It didn't matter if I was at the gym, my office, outdoors, walking downtown, or at home. These would constantly skip and, to me, that makes them unusable.

I've waited quite some time to write this review. I had purchased and returned a few other competitive pairs, but I kept these despite their price. I like them, I recommend them, they sound excellent, and the battery life is very good and conveniently recharged with the case. My reason for not giving it 5* is the dependency on the software to pair and upgrade the headphones. It's just not very intuitive, or frankly very good.
Sound - 5 (High end/low end improve with seal/better buds)
Comfort - 5 (I can wear them all day)
Convenience - 5 (No wires is awesome)
Durability - 5 (dropped multiple times, even put through washing machine once on accident)

The sound quality is amazing but unfortunately you can not keep them in. Initially they stay in but t it loses retention and falls out. I had my wife tried them and she had the same experience. If it would stay in it would be amazing

It took me almost two days to update the firmware. Initially the app couldn't find my earbuds or crashed. I constantly had to reconnect as I would loose connections when I put them away. Those were the negatives. It seems to get better with time. No more connection issues. I wish the sound had more bass and got louder. I do like the touch controls
and foam tips. So long as you get a good seal in your ear, it sounds good and blocks out a lot of the noise. Aside from the lack of AptX, USB C and Bluetooth 5, its a good product.

Best earphones/headphones I have ever used

I never got interested myself to review about any products. Out of my own interest I am writing this review.
I have almost tried most of the headphones/earphones available in the market, and this one stands out. I really wonder why there are not many good reviews about this product, After doing lots of research I convinced myself to purchase this product. It is expensive but it is really worth every penny. I have felt this experience listening music in Bower & Wilkins music system, and these small buds in your ears sounds the same.
Wireless earbuds - This is the only premium looking earbuds, when you hold it or use it, it stands out.
This product is really awesome, its very hard to explain on how it sounds and the experience could differ from person to person. Few of friends tried and all said "it sounds great"
TO get use to the earphones, it takes a while, once you are comfy, it is super easy to use.
If this fits your ears, go for it without any second thoughts. I would definitely recommend this.

Bang & Olofsen's, by virtue of being Danish, and "high-end," almost had me happy. The Beoplay E8 buds were excellent up top, but lacked more sound definition the further down the acoustic range you went. But they were really comfortable and the UX was nice. I liked not messing with the buttons much - just touch it and go. Nice.

Setup was fairly tedious. Once beyond initial set-up, I’ve enjoyed the sound. When I’m using the silicone buds, they tend to fall out easily during workouts. The app is handy for EQ and the transparency mode is one of the best sound attributes.

As expected with premium quality comes a price that is above all the rest. At the price point, I can see why it might be offsetting at first but, I guarantee once you’ve given them a try you’ll surely fall in love with these little beauties. They aren’t obtrusive like the Bose freefly wireless and work amazing well in a gym or going on a run. The sizes available with the package will ensure they fit snuggly in your ear and you may even forget you have them in they can be so comfortable. If you’re serious about these earbuds, look no further, true amazing sound awaits you.

The Beoplay E8 are great-looking and well-crafted truly wireless in-ears. They look and feel more high-end than most of the truly wireless designs in the market, and come with a good, compact charging case that will easily fit into your pockets. They have a excellent sound, great passive isolation and a long battery life that will last you the whole day. On the upside, you can EQ their sound with the BeoPlay app, and they’re well-rounded and versatile enough for most use cases, even commuting and sports.

Sound quality when using the included foam tips is splendid. Very full, rich, detailed and balanced. Please do not use the silicone tips as it results in a tinny and shrill sound. As for the setup process, B&O could definitely improve here, but you'll get used to controlling these over time. Comfort with the foam tips is excellent and I love how discrete these look in the ear as opposed to the q-tips, oh I meant, Airpods. These are expensive but highly worth it!

In terms of a truly wireless experience. These are amazing and much less of an eyesore when it comes to how it looks on you. The audio is great but doesn't really push much bass. The two main issues are that there are connectivity issues when it comes to pairing your device. The second issue is the touch controls, by tapping on the earpiece. They just don't respond at times and becomes an annoyance. Sidenote, "ambient noise cancellation" is really not something you'll be amazed by. The price of these, I can't suggest to anyone unless you are just looking for something for style purposes and fitting.

Ok... let's get this out of the way. I bought these only to prove them wrong. I have the experience with some of the very best earphones and headphones out there. The Westones, Ultimate ears, Bose, Master and Dynamics, and even Sennheiser to name a few. So now that you know I at least have a good idea of "quality" we can move on. These earphones were released in 2017. That's right 2017!!! Do you really understand the weight of this statement? Bang and Olufsen are the oldest industry leader in sound, older than Sennheiser, Bose, and others. And yet in 2019, their sound signature is still being measured up against the best there is being released now. And here's the point...they are still better than the rest. That goes for the latest Master and Dynamics, Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless, and Bose. How do I know because I have all of them and this is the best package, especially when the add the fact that it's less than all the rest. And if you thinking about getting the 2.0's, I will say you the questions. They are the exact same sound signature so all you buying is a better case, not better sound quality. That says a lot when this company can't beat itself in sound quality with a 2.0 version. But then again, it doesn't surprise after hearing these. The Bass, sound stage and highs that probably rival most wired ones that I have heard to date. There is no wonder why they couldn't make it better. As to the elephant in the room, I'm just as floored by this as you are. I have no idea how anyone in their right mind or should I say right ears rank these blow anything but a 4. I wanted to hate them and couldn't and had no choice but to give them a perfect 5. Even an uninformed person who had no reference earphones to compare them too should have still come to at least a 4. The only foreseeable issues I can say is the initial pairing process was a little shaky so if you just threw in the towel maybe there will be a "one" ranking here and there. But averaging a below a 4 is just crazy. These have replaced my Sennheiser for my #1 used earphones and that was not small feet. So buy, use the app and create the best possible sound world you can live in your earphones. 2017 -2019 still the best sound signature.
