What can I say about this great animated classic I'm a huge fan of Batman The Animated Series I use to watch this on tv but now I have on DVD now.

Saw this growing up and it was awesome had to get this in blu Ray and it definitely looks great.

A Batman action mystery movie, loved it glad I purchased it, love the 1080i on this one.

It's a downright shame that Mask of the Phantasm hasn't received more attention since it was released, because this has everything it needs to stand alongside some of the best live-action Batman films. It's a classic Batman mystery, but the best parts of the story, for me, are the scenes that show Bruce outside the mask and give glimpses of what his life could've been like if not for the Dark Knight. Combine excellent writing with pitch-perfect performances from Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill, and this movie proves that an animated flick can be just as great as live action. There are essentially no bonus features, which is frustrating, but it's still absolutely worth it to have this on blu-ray, which was a well overdue release.

This is such a great movie about Batman and his gripping past.

I can't even tell you how excited I am to finally have Batman: Mask of the Phantasm on Blu Ray,. As Soon as it was announced, I pre-ordered my copy. This movie is as excellent as any live-action batman film- and honestly it's better than most. I jumped all over this purchase because I want to tell WB that there is a market for Batman Animated content on Blu Ray (especially the excellent stuff from the 90's).

Really love this movie, so underrated. Shirley Walker score is fantastic.

Mask of the Phatasm is the best Batman movie hands down. It understands it's characters, gives Bruce Wayne some more depth in his history and creation of Batman. The movie has some very dark themes and character exploration into why these people are who they are. Also features the great Mark Hamill doing his Joker. Anyone who is a Bat fan in any way, needs to own this movie!!

Phantasm serves as the origin story for Batman the Animated Series and delivers one of the most exciting emotional Batman stories out there. The remastering was very well done and they even took the time to redo the CGI City sweeping intro which was very poorly dated by today's standards. This is a must-have for any Batman fan

FANS OF BATMAN SHOULD ENJOY THIS BLU RAY VERSION WHICH HAS A GREAT UPDATED VIDEO AND AUDIO QUALITY. THE COOL GOTHAM SETTING WITH MARK HAMELL'S JOKER AND fKEVIN CONROY'S BATMAN ALWAYS MAKE A GREAT EVIL VS GOOD PARING.DUO. ALONG WITH THE LARGER THAN LIFE BATMOBILE THE WATCHER OF THIS DVD IS IN FOR A SPECIAL TREAT.

I never saw this movie as a kid, but my cousin recommended this and it did not disappoint. The story was original and shows Batman at his low points throughout his life. A must watch!

Absolutely love love love batman the animated series...and especially this movie...took forever for wb to put it on blu ray!!! Now I just hope they put the whole animated series on blu ray...plus though this blu ray lacks ANY special features I still give it five stars cause cmon it's a classic!!!

IMO, this is the best Batman movie (live action or animated) to be made. If you are a fan of the animated series, this is an extension into that universe. Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill both return as Batman and Joker and are top notch in this movie. No film has truly captured both sides of the man known as Batman/Bruce Wayne as this film has. The only gripe I have is that the Blu Ray is bare bones. Disappointed that no special features are included and the video and audio quality are just slightly a step up from the DVD. Hopefully sales are great so they can release a definitive version down the road as this film deserves it.

A great addition to Batman the Animated Series. I Remember the first time I saw it. My Mother rented it for me from a video store. That's right a video store. Just as antiquated as the format I saw it on VHS. I enjoy it now as much as back then. Just wish it had a slipcover.

For an animated movie this one was very good. Very strong storyline with a very good twist. If you’re into Batman then you should check this one out!

This film could perhaps be the Animated Batman's finest hour. Telling a heartbreaking tale about a mysterious villain with a tragic connection to Batman/Bruce Wayne, this film is truly an animated masterpiece. Of course, The Joker also makes an appearance, voiced by the incredible Mark Hammil. The ONLY reason this BluRay doesn't get a 5-star review is because I found the transfer to be a bit lacking. Other than that, if you're a fan of Batman- especially the Animated Series from the 90's -this is a DEFINITE "must own" item!

This isn't just a great cartoon movie. This is a great movie! The best Batman movie ever even compared to the live one

I love these older cartoons. Especially now that it’s available on Blu-ray.

I've waited for this to come out on blu-ray and part of me thought it never would. I do wish a steelbook or at least a slipcover could have been done, but to complain after getting this film on blu-ray is ridiculous.

This film is amazing. It's almost TOO Good. It's finally nice to see this film in HD (now for the rest of The Animated Series). There isn't a whole lot of features with this blu ray, but I only need the film.
