People talk about buying Beats are a waste of money for the quality but I have to disagree (to some agree). I'm a music lover and testing Beats vs. Bose, it was a no brainer. The quality was better and I also love the way the cushion covers my entire ear. Since I listen to a lot o music, my ears may start to get uncomfortable after a couple of hours (but this happens to me with any pair of headphones & my ears are not the smallest peas in the pod, lol). The cost IS extremely high so it is worth it if you can afford it and/or is willing to splurge on yourself a little. Please keep in mind that I've owned the following Beats before: Wireless, Studio & Studio Wireless but the Pros are my favorites.

These pros are not only very good-looking, but durable and possess quality materials. A little heavier than most would like, however I've comfortably listened to entire albums and have enjoyed lengthy calls while wearing these beats pros. Satisfied with this purchase.

I bought these headphones in 2014 and still use them on a regular basis. When I initially used the headset they were a bit tight, but they now fit my head perfectly. They block out all of the noise and I think they sound amazing. People ask if they can listen to my Pros and, with an exception of one person, they have all loved them. The one person had a pair of Studios and she preferred them. I am not sure if some of these reviews are being written by people who actually own Pros or Beats in general??? My experience with these headphones has been beyond great, I would say the experience has been spectacular! The music sounds very crisp and clear. The bass is not over powering, but very much present. The cushions are well padded and rest easily on my head. Finally, after two years of usage they still work perfectly. I will also add that none of the other headphones that I have owned have lasted as long as these under normal usage. I say “normal usage” because I have seen videos online where they put these headphones through extreme testing. All I will say is this. If you are throwing your headphones from a bridge onto concrete, bending the headband just to see how far it can stretch before it snaps, dropping your headphones in water, or anything along those lines… Then you shouldn't waste your money on headphones in the first place, because by no means is any of that “normal wear and tear”. Overall, I am very satisfied and recommend the Pros!!!
Also, I own Studios and Urbeats and highly recommend you look at them as well.

The Beats Pros are one of the best sounding headphones that I found on the market today. I tried multiple pairs of headphones shopping for around a month to include higher end offerings from Sennheiser, Bose, Monster and others. These were the best sounding and loudest of all in the category of around the ear headphones.
There are a couple complaints I have. First, I was surprised to find out I had to get to the $400 price point to get the decent sound I was looking for. 10 years ago I could have had sound like this for around $150. My second gripe is the carrying case, which while it looks nice, it's soft and wouldn't protect against anything but dust. Portability becomes an issue (I feel there should be something to better protect a $400 product I'm shlepping around). Finally, the weight. These were also the heaviest headphones I came across.
In summary, if you're picky about sound and volume, these are the best choice that I could find. You'll just have to deal with the shortcomings I've outlined above.

I bought these as a gift for my boyfriend. He absolutely loves them. The clarity of these headphones are unreal and you can definitely hear the bass in them. Pricey, but very much worth it. Plus they are comfortable and come in a protective pouch.

Out of all the beats headphones I've owned, these are def my favorites! The are a bit heavy, and they fit a little snug (maybe because they are new?) but overall I think the fit is comfortable once they are on and the sound is excellent! Definitely the best quality-made in my opinion out of all the beats,...I feel like these hold up really well and actually fold up nicely and they are a lot smaller and easier to travel with vs. my studio headphones in the storage case.

I was reluctant to purchase another Beats product after a bad experience with a pair of Solos, but after reading reviews and testing the Pros in the store, I decided to buy a pair. I listen to mostly country and rock with a little hip hop and pop mixed in. Although the Pros are definitely bass heavy, the bass seems less overpowering than with the Solos or Studios. Mids and highs are pretty good on the Pros as well. I like to listen to my music fairly loud, so I was also a little concerned about sound leakage. The Pros leaked significantly less than my Solos or Bose QC 15s.
The construction of the Pros seemed quite sturdy, but I bought the protection plan because I had some concerns about the wires breaking where the earcups rotate after long term use.
Although the Pros seemed uncomfortable at first, they got better with use.
The price on these seemed quite steep and the drawstring carrying pouch seemed very cheap. I'm certain there are probably better headphones out there for a lot less money, but with any Beats product, you're paying a lot for marketing+cool factor.
Overall, however, I'm satisfied with this product.

By far this is the best sounding, high quality, sounding studio type headphones I have worn to listen to music!! Bass is great, but at times tends to be a bit bass heavy for some delicate music. Another thing to point out also is if you plan to wear these for a long while, you might have to take a break at times as these are just a little heavy for long music listening. Just adjust to where you will feel comfortable if you plan to just sit back and listen to music for long periods. Price point is what it is. A tad bit pricey but in my opinion can hang with other headphones in this category!! The build quality on these are top notch!! Metal finish, soft earpads, all in all great looking headphones!!

These are a great set of headphones! They have the typical Beats bass and they also have a very good overall sound for all types of music. I have had every beats headset from the solos, studios, and pros and these headphones definitely out preform all the others. They are also very durable. They are definitely worth the money.

The sound quality on these is excellent, without requiring a battery like the Studio Pro. I can make out lyrics that apparently I had misunderstood (some for a few years!). Comfortable
The Best Buy assistant strongly recommended purchasing the BB protection package as he guaranteed they would break within the first year. So far no problems, but it's a minor concern given the price of these (I did buy the protection package).
On the downside, these are expensive. I like how they fold up for storage. Hopefully these are too big to forget on the plan as I have done with 3 pairs of expensive ear buds.

The bass is awesome and the mid's and high's are great, for doing recording or studio or just listening to your tunes I play a bass guitar and it dosen't effect it at all they can handle it no distortion I love my beats. they sound great. You just have to find out for your self but you'll hear the difference.

If you are looking for a well built pair of over the ear headphones with extra thump and are willing to pay a premium for built like a tank quality, look no further. However if you are wanting something that has the most accurate reproduction of the original source material then these are not for you. While the bass heavy headphones do not reproduce a reference quality sound, the low end does extend all the way down to the deep end of the pool so to speak. It was between 2-6kHz where I found them lacking. and the tonality of the phones was not up to the price tag.
I liked the metal enclosed headphone elements and the replaceable cables that were included. The thicker cable had the best sound of the two while the cable that included the mic for a smartphone or other device was wired out of phase from the factory in my set and sounded thin even after it was replaced.
So long story short, these better than average headphones are not for pros even though they cary the pro label. Good is the enemy of Great and a great set of phones has reference sound with a flat EQ. I have attached my EQ recommendations for the Beats Pro headphones .

My wife bought me this one as an anniversary gift. She chose it because it is noise cancellation to others. The overall and comfort use are wonderful. The reason why I prefer this one has super bass for my both hearing loss. What can I say? I love music.
After 10+ headphones I purchase over the years, this one is the best headphone of all. If the price drop, definitely I will be able to get one for my wife.

These headphones have an awesome sound. The highs and mids are great. The bass is a little too much at certain times, but it's not unbearable. They also look fantastic. They are made of metal and not plastic, so they are very durable. I have had Bose headphones for the last 10 years, but I wanted to try something a little different this time. While I was in Best Buy, I narrowed it down to 3 different pairs. The new Bose, Marshall, and Beats Pro. Marshall was the cheapest at $199.99, and the Bose and Beats were both $399.99. I went with the Beats Pro just to try something new, and I am completely satisfied. What made the deal even sweeter was that Best Buy had a price match guarantee on these, and I was able to get them for $249.99...yes, I said $249.99!!!!! Sweet deal.

Great sound, great bass, good amount in volume and you can wear it for hours. It lasts and doesn't wear off. Disregard these other bad reviews. If you can take care of your product then you are in for a treat.
