first of all, just wanna say that i'm a big fan of best buy. i know the big online shopping behometh has same day shipping and all but sometimes, you need something in minutes, not hours. that's where best buy comes in. i'm fortunate that i have 2 best buys within a 12 minute drive so when i need something super fast, i have access...as long as it's in stock. and fortunately, this bad boy was in stock. i needed a thunderbolt 4 with power delivery for my 16in macbook pro.
luv how i can just plug in one cable to my mac for:
1) enough power delivery to charge my computer
2) displayport to usb-c for my 49in LG monitor at 120Hz (supports 240 but left it at 120)
3) works with the LG monitor USB 3.0 hub
4) Works with my old Bose computer speakers via monitor usb hub
5) 2.5 gigabit usb-c dongle that supports the internet speed
totally recommend for macbook users (i'm sure it works just as fine on windows machines)

Solid hub. I’ve had plans to buy a hub for quite some time now…. I wanted something that allowed for a more minimal setup. I was annoyed with having to plug in too many devices to an outlet and this allowed me to consolidate. I like to carry around an iPad along with several other devices… and this was perfect for me.

Perfect for multi tasking with MacBook and Apple devices

This is pretty much the best basic thunderbolt hub out there right now. Official thunderbolt 4 and USB4 support, 3 ports on the rear and one type A on the front all powered by a 150w power brick that’s actually manageable is simply perfect.
The size of the hub itself truly is tiny and goes perfectly into a bag to become a super hub later charging devices like iPad phone headphones and of course the host connection (in front) is powered up to 96w which just happens to be the max input on the 14” MacBook Pro so it is absolutely ideal with its use.
While at home I run a pair of monitors and ultra wide OLED 170hz qhd+ and a 16:9 qhd which I use usb c to DisplayPort cables with and this works perfectly on my MacBook Pro. I also use the 3rd thunderbolt 4 port for a microphone input and then the front usb A port for a wireless headset 2.4 dongle here and there or directly with wire to charge the headset while in use which works perfectly as it’s right in the front.
Normally you hit a wall with these hubs as far as power but as I said it’s got a 150w brick with it that’s actually extremely portable and perfectly powers anything you plug into it. It’s just one simple 3 prong grounded cord and fairly long length to it more so than I assumed it would have which is nice.
I prefer the look of keeping the white stickers on over revealing gloss black underneath which is probably weird but oh well.
It really hits well when you of course have a need for a one plug solution to a docking setup at your desk. It’s just so nice to plug in and boom my computer is charging at full speed and I’m driving two monitors and whatever I else I have plugged in. I also use it to charge my phone with a 10ft cable from bed sometimes because it’s power delivery of course and works with virtually everything and fast.

Small in size and great in performance

The Belkin Thunderbolt 4, 5-in-1 Core Hub is a compact docking station that is a good performer with plenty of power despite its small size.
It’s a good looking compact hub with a brushed aluminum shell and decent weight to keep it from sliding when connected. It feels sturdy and of good quality build. The front is simple with the main Thunderbolt 4 connection that provides up to 96 watts of power that is more than enough to keep your laptop working and charging. There’s also a USB 3.2 Gen 2 connection to power a mouse, a USB drive, a uSB camera or even a portable printer. The back has the power connection and three Thunderbolt 4 connections.
Thunderbolt 4 allows higher performance than regular USB-C and this Belkin docking station lives up to its namesake. I first tested the transfer speed; Thunderbolt 4 can run at speeds up to 40 Gps. I have a pair of Thunderbolt 4 portable drives by Sandisk and connected them in the back of the hub and transferred close to 500GB of data between them back and forth several times. It took about 14 seconds to accomplish the task which is very close to 40 Gps. I also tried the video performance that Thunderbolt 4 can provide by running two 4K videos at the same time by connecting two 4K monitors; it worked flawlessly. Not having an 8K monitor, I could not verify if it works as expected.
The Belkin Thunderbolt 4, 5-in-1 Core Hub is a fast docking station for laptops and other connected devices compatible with Thunderbolt 3 and 4. According to Belkin, you can daisy up to 6 Thunderbolt compatible devices if the 3 back connectors are not enough. It’s a solid quality performer that I would not hesitate to recommend.

Compact and Capable TB4 Hub

This high-power Thunderbolt 4 hub supports most of what you need to connect to your computer with style and confidence supported by solid build quality and a compact design.
Highlights:
* Solidly built.
* Status LED on the front.
* Compact and attractive.
* Includes 150W power supply.
Room for Improvement:
* Large external power supply.
* Icons can be difficult to read in low light.
Setup:
The external power supply has a captive barrel plug that connects to the hub and a detachable short AC cable to connect to a grounded wall outlet. Plug in both ends and the hub powers up. Plug in the provided TB4 cable between the front of the hub and your computer, then connect your regular monitors and peripherals to the three (3) ports on the rear of the hub.
Usage:
On the front is a USB-A port for temporary use when you need it, but the hub is mostly of the set-it-and-forget-it type. My setup is a MacBook Pro with two external displays; a 35” UHD (4k) monitor and a Wacom Cintiq 16 external display/tablet. I also have a ton of other peripherals so this hub isn’t my only solution, but everything that I have connected through it has worked great. The monitors are at their full resolution and refresh rate. and everything seems to be working as expected.
The hub includes a 150W external power supply and claims that each port can sustain 15W.
Overall:
This stylish and compact Thunderbolt 4 hub supports everything that I threw at it. All of the TB ports are TB4 compliant and Belkin has great support and warranty if you ever need it. What more can you ask for?

Perfect accessory for work at home

The Belkin Connect Thunderbolt 4 5-in-1 Core Hub is the perfect accessory for someone that uses a Thunderbolt enabled laptop for travel and then wants to transform that laptop into a desktop workstation just by connecting a single cable.
The Belkin is a solidly built hub with 3 Thunderbolt ports in the rear and 1 Thunderbolt port in the front along with a USB-A port. The hub comes with a 150W power brick for power and is capable of supplying 96W power delivery through the front Thunderbolt port.
I am currently using the Belkin Connect Thunderbolt 4 5-in-1 Core Hub (what a mouthful!) to connect my laptop to a Samsung 4K monitor, a portable WD SSD, and an external keyboard and mouse.
Both the Samsung 4K monitor and WD portable SSD are connected using a USB-C cable to the rear of the hub.
I am using an external USB hub connected to the front USB-A port and my keyboard and mouse are connected to the external USB hub.
This is my first experience using Thunderbolt to connect peripherals to my laptop and I initially encountered a problem with my keyboard and mouse not being seen by my laptop.
It turns out that I had to go to the Thunderbolt Software App and tell it that the new Thunderbolt hub is “approved” and “allow” it to connect to my laptop. After doing this, my keyboard and mouse were recognized.
I love this little hub as it allows my laptop to connect to 4 devices using only a single USB-C cable. It makes my workspace so much neater.
Everything has been functioning flawlessly. I am getting 130 MB/sec transfer rate between my laptop and external SSD.
I highly recommend the Belkin Connect Thunderbolt 4 5-in-1 Core Hub to anyone with a Thunderbolt enabled laptop that wants a nice workstation environment at home.

Good option for my 2-monitor laptop station

The 5-in-1 Core Hub from Belkin seamlessly connects my laptop to two external monitors and a webcam. The monitors are connected via USB-C while the webcam uses a USB-A connection leaving me one free USB-C space on the hub. The 96W power delivery is perfectly suitable for my work setup which I use about 8 hours a day M-F. I’m not going to be traveling with this normally, so I can’t speak to the portability but if you need the laptop power, this seems like a good option. The main hub is nice and compact, and it comes with a cable/power adapter attachment which is necessary to use the product.
If 1 USB-A and 4 USB-C ports are enough for your technical needs, then it’s a perfectly suitable choice for laptop power, monitors, webcams, and general charging. I felt it was a good option for my office desk. Personally, I’ll be parking this hub on my office desk and using most of the ports for peripherals for my work laptop. With my full setup being connected, I still have the option of using the last open space on the hub to charge a device. This hub will be regularly used for years to come.
Instead of using the Thunderbolt 4 5-in-1 Hub for peripherals, my next option would be to turn it into a charging station for cameras, batteries, phones, tablets, & more. This might better suit me as a charging station because I prefer having a laptop hub with more input options like Ethernet, HDMI, or an SD Card Slot.

Great for Travel and Home Charging Station

It is so hard traveling with all the electronics I use on a daily basis. Each one requires its own charger so there is the proper amount of “juice” to charge each one without damage to my expensive devices. Once arriving at motel I had to attempt to find outlets for each of them to plug into the power. I had them plugged in all over the room and worried that I would forget a plug or device when I left the motel. The Belkin Thunderbolt 4 5 in 1 Core Hub solved that problem. It has the “juice” to safely charge my Mac, iPad, IPhone and even my watch at the same time. I also used it for my laptop when I needed to charge it. It plugs into one grounded outlet and charges everything at once. It solved all my problems and now I only carry this along with the cords with me to motel. The Hub itself is lightweight and the size of my iPhone 13 as you can see in the photo.
It does have its downside as well. The cord that plugs into the hub and power is heavy. It has a box about the size of one that I use for my printer about half way down the heavy weight cord. So the total weight is more than if I was carrying a cord for each device. I still choose to use this hub when traveling so I only need to have one outlet. Everything is charged at the same time and kept in one location.
This Belkin hub is great for the family charging station at home as well. It charges quickly and holds all my devices. Once mine is charged, my husband can charge his quickly as well. I hated having so many outlets in use. I really do like this hub. I gave it a 4 star for the weight of the cord. I wish it was lighter and I do wish it came with a zipper or Velcro pouch to carry it and the cords in when traveling.

A lot of the other reviews from the Tech Insider Network are clearly written using ChatGPT or some other AI. Best Buy is either blind or stupid and should automatically reject those.
I've had this for a day and so far so good. The charging brick is not small but not nearly as bad as others have mentioned. The build quality seems good and works great for my needs. I'm using an M2 MacBook Pro and driving dual monitors with no problems. I use USBC to HDMI cables so you'll probably need something similar or an adapter. There is only one USB A port which is not an issue for me but if you need more and do not want to use some type of adapter you may want to look for another model.

An Essential Connectivity Solution

The Belkin Thunderbolt 4 5-in-1 Core Hub seamlessly integrated into my workspace, offering a sleek and functional solution with its metallic gray finish that effortlessly complements other electronics on my desk. The metal outer case feels durable and adds a premium quality to the hub.
Setup was a breeze thanks to its user-friendly plug-and-play design. Connecting the power through the barrel jack input and linking my MacBook with the provided C-to-C cable was all it took. While the power brick is on the larger side, it aligns with the hub's impressive 150W power delivery capacity.
I was pleasantly surprised by the hub's ability to handle a multitude of connections simultaneously. From my WQHD monitor and audio recording interface to an external SSD drive and a 4-port USB-A hub, this device effortlessly managed them all. Being able to connect and power all of these devices with a single connection to my laptop helped streamline my desk by eliminating cable clutter and freeing up additional ports on my laptop.
The power delivery performance was exceptional, as advertised. My laptop was pulling 96W with the hub powering multiple peripherals. Even when passing through the hub, my external SSD was able to achieve solid data transfer speeds (read and write speeds of 780 MB/s and 700 MB/s, respectively).
The Belkin Thunderbolt 4 5-in-1 Core Hub stands out as a reliable, aesthetically pleasing, and portable solution with robust power delivery capabilities. I would recommend this hub to anyone in search of a versatile and visually appealing addition to their tech setup without hesitation.

If you are looking for a Macbook Pro M series docking station, look no further. After experimenting with different docking stations for my monitor, this was the one that worked seamlessly. Has very good build quietly. But, it is very expensive for the price and for the amount of ports it prints.
I would not recommend this for travel, but rather, as a desk dock. This is because the power supply used to power it is pretty big, bigger than the hub itself.
Overall, this is the winner for M chip Macs.

This dock has everything I needed.I don't like that docks like this have the connection to the pc in the front but for my purposes it was fine. I 3D printed an under desk mount to hide it away with all of my cables and now I have my entire setup connected to it. The other end connects to a 3D printed dock I made for my Legion Go. One cable to power the LeGo and run my 4K monitor, keyboard, mouse, usb hub, 4K bluray drive and other peripherals! Love it!

HUB. Power back. File sharing. It does all of these things so very well. But it also comes with a power source that looks like it belongs on the computer that it's extracting from. It's very sturdy, so you'll want it to be placed on a stable surface while you are using it. I like that it does free up my ports on my laptop. Allowing me to plug in my web cam, microphone and mouse, while also allowing me to charge my phone. The simple things. I know. It is as weighy as it powerful so if you plan on packing it with you, be sure to get something padded and secure. That's what I'd suggest, to keep it from becoming damaged. Since there are multiple thunderbolt 4 ports, it makes it very easy movie files from source to destination rather quickly and a USB-A 3.2 also. It comes with a type-C to type-C cable in the box so that makes it easy to charge my chromebook and work without worries. It makes viewing a couple screens and working between them a delight. As I only have full high Def monitors it looks great, even though it can be used to up to 8K monitors. I'm glad I got this. Mainly for the fact that I only have one type-C thunderbolt port on my laptop and I've got multiple type-C cables. Definitely get it if you're in need, like me.

This device is exactly what I needed. I was really excited when the M1 MacBook Pro was released in 2021 and decided to buy it right away. However, I got the budget model, which only has two USB ports, and that has been a limitation for me. When I connect my recording equipment to make music, I often run out of ports. With the interface and the charger plugged in, I don’t have any available slots left for an external monitor, keyboard, or other devices. This new device has been a lifesaver, providing me with four extra ports. I can now use all my devices and even connect to external monitors. I’m very happy with this purchase. Thank you!

The device works smoothly, however, it was causing some issues with my MacBook Pro upon wake-up. Other thing I did not like was the design as the power port for the device is in the back, while the main-host Thunderbolt port is in the front. Finally, the price is okay. For a couple dollars more, you can get a TB4 port with more ports.

This is a great hub for the money. Fast Charges any macbook at 96W and give you 3 more thunderbolt ports so you can have a one wire hookup when you dock. Its great and having a single usb-a port is a nice to have. If it also had a single display port 1.2 port i think it would be just that much better.

I tried the Satechi hub first. But the build quality on the Belkin is better. More importantly attached NVME SSDs are not powered and do not stay hot when the computer is off. On the Satechi, it does not shut off if the attached computer is off. So attached hard drives remain on which is not good overtime for the health of the drives.
