Customers find value in the NetCam HD+ Wireless Networking IP Camera's high-quality video, ease of setup, and effective night vision capabilities. However, some users experienced challenges with the motion detection's reliability and occasional connectivity issues. The accompanying app also received mixed reviews, with some users reporting glitches and limitations. Overall, the camera's strengths in image quality and ease of use appear to outweigh the reported weaknesses for many customers.

Does what it should; worth the price

Of all the options available this is an economic package for what you get; the night vision actually works pretty well - especially for this price point - and the daylight camera is excellent. There are some delays and buffering at times, but nothing that will ruin your day. If you're watching the feed live then it will run smoothly 90% of the time, and when it buffers it catches up quickly. Also the microphone is handy, being able to talk to someone near the camera from wherever you are in this world. I purchased one, and from one perch I'm able to view the kitchen, the dining room, and a main side entrance all from the one camera. I plan on buying 1-2 more.

The camera was very easy to install. I had some issues with getting false motion detections, but I suspect that was due to the sensitivity setting, I have since played with the setting and it doesn't seem to be happening now. I turn email notification on when I am not home, which seems to work well for me. When I tested, the pictures are not super clear but again that may be because I haven't found the right setting yet. All in all, I plan to buy more later to use in other areas of my house.

This IP Cam has very good vide quality, and ability to record right on the smart phone is a plus. However, the App for iPhone only allows you to view in Landscape mode, and it does not allow pinch to zoom this is why I gave 4 stars (notably the D-Link camera SW is much better).

I got this camera to watch my dog and the house while I'm away. Along with the app it works really well as long as I have decent phone signal. You can communicate back and forth through the camera however unless you have a strong signal audio on both sides won't be clear, it will be broken up. You can set it to record motion which works perfectly and then you can hear things going on on the recorded video clips. You can choose the quality of video which helps with your signal. You can also watch video live through the camera. So it's got a lot for a cheap price. This works perfect for my family when my main concern is to watch the dog and check in periodically. It also has night vision which means you can watch video and record anytime.

Camera was very easy to setup. very nice quality picture the reason for four stars is when you setup on a android you have setup like your connected to a network and it keeps taking over as the default network to connect to

The camera has excellent picture quality and is still really clear in the dark. The app is lacking though, it won't always log on and when it does it doesn't always let you connect to the camera. It also hangs sometimes. Fixing the app would give it 5 stars

Sense of security when away

Sense of security when away. The camera feed or live stream can be accessed from website or app (I have an android). I pay the $10 fee to have motion detection recordings saved to the cloud. Can access for 14 days. Only complaint, I use to lose connectivity to the camera (disconnects from router I assume) I would have to physically disconnect the camera from power for a few minutes and let it reset. After that it reconnected automatically fine. Just a pain if you are away and it happens. Has become a lot better, it has been a while now since it last happened.

The set up was easy enough. I have three set up in different rooms and one at the front door. Nice feature that it allows for two way conversation. Image is clear and motion detection works well. Nice competitor to dropcam.

I purchased this to monitor home while at work and it works perfect. I would sometimes be booted out of the app but I am assuming it is my Wifi connection. The email feed whenever the camera senses motion is very helpful but very sensitive even though my sensitivity is set to the lowest. I don't mind though as long as it can catch anything while I am away, since I am not subscribe to the premium. Overall, the camera is very clear, and I like the feature where I can talk to the people at home. Kudos Belkin.

this is the second belkin net cam that I have purchased and overall I'm pleased with it's performance. For general monitoring capability it works great. Checking in on the kids, pets, or even pointing it out the window to look at what the dog is barking at are it's strong points. Security however I would not recommend this camera. If someone unplugs the camera, it will not transmit that recording to the iSecurity cloud. So it's easily bypassed. Also it has issues picking up movement intermittently. Again for the money, it's absolutely worth it if you only need it for monitoring and recording non security related events. The video quality is great, but keep in mind the quality of recording is only as good as the speed of your internet and wifi range.

Bought for use as Baby Monitor

Bought the camera to use as a baby monitor and I would have to say that it does exactly what I needed it for. I didn't want to spend the same price on an actual baby monitoring system when I could spend that money on something that will be functional now and functional then, when the baby is older.

Been giving Berlin feedback on improving the Cam to work in P2P Local at all times. Set your cam up and try not to make any changes and it work great. They are also working on allow it to work through 4G LTE. About a month for an update, still works good but runs through the 3G connection.

This is a great camera for beginners. The cameras have a nice clear picture. They also have a two way microphone to talk through it if you see something going on. Also Night vision is clear and visible. I would recommend these cameras to anyone who wants to watch over a baby or dog.

Read many reviews prior to purchase. Purchased one camera set it up then purchased three more. No issues with connection or using the app. Only complaint is the app does not allow you to view all cameras at once. Have to stop one camera and then select each camera to find the view you need. Wish all cameras could be viewed at once.
Hopefully future app updates will include viewing the video feed for longer than 5 minutes. After 5 minutes the session times out and you have to reselect the desired camera feed.
This is not useful as a security system unless you purchase the video service, which is per camera and not per account, so it is expensive. If you need to monitor the house while away, this is a good system.
Love the ability to listen and talk thru each camera, one of the main reason for my purchase and it works as I expected.
Just follow the instructions for set up and you should be good to go.

This is the second Belkin Netcam HD that I have purchased. This one seemed to get set up easier than the first for some reason. Very good quality steaming video. I wish Belkin would make one that would pan left & right, up and down. Very happy with my purchase.

Connection gets lost frequently. Although picture is clear, it often lags and the audio feature is tough to tell if your voice is being recognized.
