I was a bit skeptical about buying this Belkin due to the high price. I found it on sale at Best Buy and that motivated me to purchase it. My experience so far is great. Sound quality is really good, clear and loud, Google voice assistant works with no issues, QI charging is convenient and elegant. I’m happy with my purchase.

I’ve had the Belkin Soundform Elite Hi-Fi speaker for almost 2 weeks now. This is the first Google Assistant speaker I have seen out of Belkin, but they are not new to the smart home game (Wemo). This speaker comes in at a premium price that rivals that of the Google Home Max. However, the Soundform Elite has the extra feature of a wireless charging dock.
Design
The Soundform measures in at about 6.5” in all directions. It comes with a little bit of heft mostly -located in the bottom where the woofer is located. The shape and design reminds me of the UE Wonderboom speaker, albeit in a much larger size. It has a similar rounded shape and comes wrapped in a fabric mesh. The speaker has no physical buttons, but does have a touch sensitive panel with your standard controls – Bluetooth (pairing), volume ±, play/pause, and mic mute. Atop the speaker is an angled cradle with a rubberized surface – this is the 10W Qi wireless fast charger.
I had somewhat of a tough time sussing out the internal details of the speaker. The most informative source ended up being from Belkin’s partner on the sound side - Devialet. A couple of other review sites helped fill out the details. The Soundform has a 3 speaker setup – a single 35mm full range speaker, and (2) 70mm woofers. The 35mm fires straight ahead and is positioned just behind the 4 LED lights of the Google Assistant. The 2 woofers fire out either side in Devialet’s signature push-push setup which minimizes/cancels out vibrations in the speaker housing. I will admit that I had not heard of Devialet prior to getting this speaker, but it becomes apparent that this company knows what they are doing once you take a peak at their lineup. The 3 speaker setup doesn’t quite give you 360° sound, but it does cast a wide sound stage.
The only port on the Soundform is the molded power connecter slot on the bottom. There are no USB charging ports, or 3.5mm AUX. So its wireless or nothing.
Setup and Connecting
Setting up the speaker was pretty easy. It apparently has a strong Wi-Fi receiver as I was able to set it up and connect it fairly far from the nearest router. There’s no app for the speaker, unlike Belkin’s Wemo products, so the setup is done through the Google Home App. If you have multiple phone users in your house, make sure to add them to the Household under the Google Home app or else they won’t be able to cast to the speaker from their phone. You can also connect to the speaker via Bluetooth, which is great for guest phones or devices that don’t support Chromecast/Wi-Fi casting.
A quick note about audio quality. Bluetooth has a lot of compression and just isn’t the best (or even capable) for listening to full resolution Hi-Fi music. Same with most streaming services. Spotify premium does a good job, and doesn’t sound lossy. Deezer is the only service I have used that supports Hi-Fi music casting over. I’m sure there’s others, but it makes me sad that there’s no AUX because I have a phone with Hi-Fi quad DAC’s (LG V40).
Performance
The speaker has 3 areas that I looked at, as far as performance goes. How it functioned as a Wi-Fi/BT speaker, as a Google Home device, and as a wireless charger.
As far as a wireless speaker goes – pretty good. It’s not the best I have heard but it’s no slouch (I think the Google Home Max, and Sonos One have a bit better sound from my experience). Sound quality out of the Soundform is crisp. It never sounds muddy or tinny across the spectrum. The highs and lows on the speaker were really well balanced. I thought with 2 active woofers the bass would be overpowering, but its right where you want it – a good amount of bump and rumble. The push-push setup works quite well. You’d expect some vibration out of the speaker but its rock solid. Like I said the highs were really good as well and had good presence – never had any static, clipping, or crackling. This helped keep the music bright and not sound shallow. The only area I thought could be improved was the mids. They just weren’t as strong as I would have liked. Rock, metal, alternative kind of suffer a bit because of it. I’d hedge a bet that the single full range speaker is to blame here. If it was a speaker and separate tweeter then the mids could be tuned in better. One speaker covering the whole range is really tough and you always have to make compromises. If you plan to listen to Pop, rap/hip hop, electronic, etc where the bass and highs are the most important then I don’t think you will really notice this as much. And its not that big of a detractor here because the bass and highs were great, its just that the mids are average.
You would be hard pressed to find another speaker with as good of clarity at volume. This speaker is loud, and still sounds great without any sign of overdriving the speakers. This is right on par with the Google Home Max and Sonos One. The difference being the sound stage. Those speakers are more directional, whereas the Soundform is pushing sound in 3 directions to broaden things a bit more. I really don’t set the speaker above 4 (out of 10). At this level it completely fills a medium sized room and spreads throughout my upstairs. At max volume I can hear the speaker outside of my house.
Performance as a Google Home device is important to me. I love my little Google Home Mini’s. I have 16 light bulbs, 8 switches, thermostat, and door lock to control so having the assistant work well is crucial. My Mini’s are responsive and process my requests fairly quickly. I also have the Lenovo smart clock – it is slow to process in comparison (by several seconds). I am happy to see that the Soundform did not have the same limitations as my clock, and it performed better than my Mini’s. The mics do a great job of picking up my voice, and I don’t have as many false prompts with it as I do my mini’s. My son is named Cooper, so sometimes when I call out “hey Cooper” it will prompt my mini’s. The Soundform didn’t get tripped up by this nearly as often. I am very pleased with it as a Google Assistant device.
The charger performance is the last on the list. I had just picked up my LG V40 when the Soundform came in. This is my first wireless charging enabled phone so I was excited to try it out. On a regular wall outlet charger (a Qualcomm 3.0 fast charger) it takes around an hour to fully charge my phone. I know wireless induction charging is slower, and it used to only be practical for overnight charging or keeping your phone topped off while you are at a desk working. This is mostly still true, but the 10W charger could bring my phone up from 3% to fully charged in about 3 hours. That’s only a little bit slower than if I used a standard wall charger (not a 3.0 fast charger). Phones used to take 4+ hours to get that much battery life, and that was on smaller batteries. I also didn’t have any issue charging my phone in a case, which is where my timing came from. It might be faster without a case, but that’s never going to be a use case for me. Also, the lack of vibration by the push-push setup really comes into play when charging.
Other Thoughts
There were a couple of things I didn’t care for about the speaker. I’ve already mentioned the lack of AUX 3.5mm jack. It limits you to only being able to use newer, streaming compatible equipment. Legacy media players are out.
The lack of an app is unfortunate. You just have to have a solid built in equalizer in your phone if you want to cast from your phone library via Bluetooth. Also means you will need to setup a streaming server like Plex if you want to pull music from your PC.
The power supply is huge. Why does it have to be proportioned like this? It covers the adjacent outlet on the wall depending on how you plug it in. Even worse on some power strips. It’s bigger than the old iPhone/iPod charger brick.
Overall, this is a really solid setup. It combines a Google Assistant, Wi-Fi/BT speaker, and Qi charger into a single package. There’s nothing else like it on the market, so I find it to be pretty innovative.

This is my review of the Belkin Soundform Elite Hi-Fi smart speaker.
What’s included in the box: The speaker, an AC power plug, and a quick starter guide.
The setup: You will have to download Google home on your smartphone to get your speaker paired. The process is simple enough; follow the prompts, and about 2 minutes later, you speaker is ready to go. (You will have to create an account if you do not have one already)
Charge: One of the unique capabilities of the speaker itself is the ability to charge any smartphone (Assuming your phone is capable of wireless charging). The charge itself is quick charge. You simply place your phone on the open area on top of the speaker and it will charge. (I had to remove my case for it to charge)
Smart assistant: The speaker is powered by Google assistant. So saying “Hey google” is the wake up word, and off you go. (You can make calls using the speaker. It worked on my android phone, not sure if it works for iOS phones) The speaker can do things like set alarms, give you weather information, reminders, and so on. (There are a few limitations that the speaker cannot do that an Android phone can do such as send messages, but that’s me being really nitpicky) Anything Google assistant related can and probably will be improved upon with firmware updates.
Speaker: The speaker itself sounds like a high quality speaker. The bass is heavy, and the volume sounds clean at max volume. Never did I feel like I was losing quality of sound when the volume was pushed to its max. There are touch buttons on the front/top of the speaker that include Bluetooth, lower volume, play/pause, raise volume, and mute mic.
Conclusion: All in all, this is a great sounding smart speaker with Google assistant and phone charging capabilities. Rarely do I give 5 stars to a product. This is a bit on the pricey side for what it is/does, but if you're looking for great sound along with a smart speaker, then it's a great investment. I would gladly recommend this to anybody looking for a great sounding smart speaker.

Its packed with ultra-rich sound for a small form factor and is very portable. Took me less than 5 minutes to get this device setup and get connected to my google home app. Was able to stream music to this device via chromecast. I was little skeptical on the volume and the bass it can deliver when I initially saw how compact it was, but changed my opinion when I played some music and cranked up the volume to max. I can compare the volume levels with the sound bar connected to my TV. The sound quality is good with max volume setting and the sound was still crisp and clear, didn't get muffled at all. Can be used as office speaker system for your computer or as an outdoor mini boom box, delivers good bass for its size. It’s a little pricey for the features it offers, could have justified the price if it had a built in rechargeable battery. It definitely can't compete with the name brand ones in that price range and the sound quality.
Overall the sound quality is good and have no complaints on it at all. The cell phone wireless charger on the device is handy and I had this set on the side stand right beside my bed. It's a fast charger too and didn't have any issues (like overheating the phone, etc.) having my phone set on it overnight. It has a built in Mic and can connect to your phone via bluetooth. Didn't have any issues answering the calls when connected to it via bluetooth. You can connect it to your TV (via bluetooth) if you live in a small apartment and want the same sound experience as a sound bar.

The Belkin SoundForm Elite is another entry into a crowded smart speaker market. It has two unique features that separates it from the crowd. The first feature is an audio system designed by high end French audio maker Devialet and the second feature is wireless charging.
I have never heard of Devialet before so I was curious about how it would compare soundwise to my other smart speakers.
Setup was very easy and basically identical to my other Google Assistant smart speakers. Just download the Google Home app and follow the instructions and it will quickly set up the speaker.
As a smart speaker, in the week that I have played around with it, it seems as good as my other smart speakers in hearing and recognizing my voice commands.
Unfortunately, I don’t have a cell phone with wireless charging so I wasn’t able to test the wireless charging aspect of the SoundForm Elite. One feature that Belkin highlights is Devialet’s signature “Push-Pull” vibration cancelling dual woofers technology that is supposed to eliminate any vibration that might move the phone in its cradle. I did not feel any vibration on the box that was used as a stand during testing so it seems to work.
Unfortunately, it does not include a USB charging port for people who don’t have wireless charging phones.
The Belkin SoundForm Elite can also function as a bluetooth speaker. The front panel has a bluetooth button that you hold for 3 seconds to enter into pairing mode. It easily paired with my CoolPad Legacy phone and YouTube videos and Google Play Music sounded great using bluetooth.
The front panel also contains a volume up, a volume down, a play/pause, and a microphone mute button.
As for the sound quality, the first thing I noticed about this speaker was the rich sound and powerful bass. Rock, pop, and movie soundtracks sound great with clear vocals and rich deep bass. To me, I think I would describe the sound as being very smooth. With podcasts it did sound a little bit boomy to me although vocals were very clear and understandable. Over the years I have collected a bunch of smart speakers:
Google Home Mini
Sony LFS50G
Insignia NS-CSPGASP
Amazon Echo Dot (2nd and 3rd Generation)
Amazon Echo (1st Generation)
Ultimate Ears MegaBlast
Harman/Kardon Invoke
Bose 500 Soundbar
Compared to my collection, I would say the Belkin SoundForm Elite is probably my 2nd favorite in terms of sound quality behind only the more expensive Bose 500 Soundbar (which is a high end home theater sound system coupled with a subwoofer and surround speakers so it isn’t really a fair comparison).
Overall, I can recommend the Belkin SoundForm Elite especially if you have a wireless charging phone.

First of all, this speaker was sent to me for an unbiased review of it's features, and I will only state my honest opinion.
First Impressions: I was impressed with the packaging of this product. There was not a lot of extra packing material but the speaker was very secure. The speaker is very nicely weighted and does not feel cheaply made. With the shape and weight of the speaker, I am not concerned about it slipping around or vibrating on the shelf. The power cord is a good length and I appreciate the design detail of the power cord plugging into the bottom of the speaker rather than the side.
Set-Up: I have an existing Google Home system and many of the smart home products I have were a pain to set up. This speaker could not have been simpler. It quickly paired with my Google Home app with no problems. The controls on the front of the speaker are self-explanatory and responsive.
Sound: Simply, this speaker sounds amazing. I was not expecting the volume or richness of the sound quality. Needless to say, I was impressed. I quickly knew that this speaker would replace my existing Google Home Hub and my Blu-tooth soundbar. The sound is very full and multi-directional. The music easily fills the upstairs of my home. The bass on this speaker is particularly impressive. Its compact size belies its power.
Google Assistant: The Google Home aspect of this speaker is responsive and easy to use.
Wireless Charging: I do not generally use a wireless charger for my phone because I don’t want to use extra counter space. This speaker solves that issue and works flawlessly with my Samsung S9 even with my heavy phone case.
Conclusion: I would happily recommend this speaker to anyone. It is a great combination of form and multi-function.

I had never used Google assistant until I received a free sample product of this Belkin speaker in exchange for my review. I love this speaker, it is perfect for my needs.
It is small and attractive, so it fits almost anywhere. I love being able to tell it to give me the news, weather or play pandora. I take care of my elderly mother who has dementia, so I always felt I was dropping the ball. Now my speaker reminds me to give her her medication or about upcoming appointments. The phone charger is an added bonus. It is fast and the tilt makes it easy to glance at the phone screen.
My only complaint isn't really about the speaker itself, but about the Google home app you need to set it up. It is confusing and doesn't let me link my Netflix, hulu or any other streaming service. Some reviews say the problem started with the newest update, so hopefully this is a temporary issue.
The speaker itself is great, although the bass is prominent, I needed to find the settings to adjust that and again, Google home wasn't as easy as it should be. I would recommend this Belkin Hi-Fi Smart Speaker + Phone Charger.

The Unique Speaker

INITIAL THOUGHTS:
Speakers come in many shapes and sizes and each have their own distinct features. This one in particular is a one of a kind. If I were to choose one word that describes this speaker, it would be "unique." You can find speakers that charge your phone via wired connection but there are very few speakers that produce exceptional sound along with charging your phone wirelessly. This one does both.
====================================================
PARTNER UP:
Belkin and Devialet partnered up to bring us a speaker that gives that rich and bass thumping sound. The dual-woofers are enough to cover multiple rooms with the beautiful acoustics of this speaker. The sound will not dissapoint.
====================================================
THE SET-UP:
The set-up process is fairly easy. You will get a choice of connecting to the speaker via Bluetooth or your home network, aka through Google Home. Many speakers lack this versatility and only give you the choice of one or the other.
====================================================
FINAL THOUGHTS:
The speaker has serious acoustics that can get anyone's attention and can get the whole house shaking. The wireless charging pad has fast-charging capabilities which adds to the uniqueness of the product. The only concern I had was the really large power brick, which is considerably and noticeably large. The power brick manages to cover one of my open electrical sockets. This can be a bit tedious if you need to plug other products in. Besides that, this speaker will not disappoint you.

I was pleasantly surprised with the packaging during the unboxing. Simple, well done, and the use of recyclable materials is a plus in my book.
The instructions are simple and could easily be bypassed by those who are familiar with adding Google Home devices to your network and pairing them with your phone. There is no need to go into any phone specific settings to set it up as it's all taken care of in the Google Home app.
I'm quite impressed with the build quality. The materials used are far from feeling cheap. I love the resting pad of the wireless charger and the charging indicator light is a nice touch as well. The fabric is nice too but it's not...static. As in there is a bit of play between that fabric and the shell of the speaker. Something that can be overlooked as this is not meant to be portable in the first place. And that’s fine. But the power brick is obnoxiously large for this device. It might be my own personal preference but if those electronics can’t fit in the unit itself, at least make it to where the brick can be tucked away neatly. I’m not a fan of its size taking a plug away from a receptacle or forcing you to move furniture way far away from a wall.
On sound, I used some songs that have a wide range of sounds throughout all volumes the device offers. Those in my immediate vicinity had a highly positive reaction. And they were right. It instantly filled the room with sound. But as I kept testing it further, I realized the mid-range was something left to be desired. It definitely puts out nice deep notes with a well-tuned mid-high to high range. However, based on the placement of the device and your own preferences, this might actually be perfect.
This is an excellent piece for the right place. I think there are some generation 1 flaws that could be ironed out. But this is a fantastic first attempt by Belkin. And I believe the partnership with Devialet to get the sound where it is was a fantastic move.

Great Gift For A Music Lover

When I received the Belkin Speaker in return for writing a honest review, I was very excited. I have never owned a smart speaker but had always been curious about it. I do not know much about the technical aspects of speakers in general, but I can give you a review from a novice point of view.
It is a nice size and weight, a little bit bigger than a cantaloupe. After plugging it in, I needed to download the Google Home app. It seemed to take a long time to set up and connect to my phone. Eventually I went onto Belkin's website and tried some troubleshooting suggestions. I turned my phone off and then on again and it was all set up and connected. I found that whenever it was having trouble connecting, this was the solution every time. The set up directions are just a couple pictures and it was a bit frustrating. I was constantly going on the website to find out what to do. I had no idea what the lights on the front meant. They change colors and sometimes blink, but you need to look it up on the website to find out what that means. I tried asking the speaker, but it didn't understand. I also had no idea you could adjust the sound (which I will talk about in a second), so my first impression was that it was slightly better than a tv with no sound bar.
This speaker has a wireless charging feature, but none of our phones were compatible, so I was not able to test that.
You trigger it by saying "hey google "or "ok google". At times, it seemed to have trouble hearing me and wouldn't turn on. It is great for asking what the weather will be, telling you a joke or calling someone in your contact list. Listening to music is the best thing about this speaker.
I wasn't very impressed with the sound at first, but then read in another review that you can adjust the bass and treble through the app. That changed my mind. After making adjustments, it sounds really good. Music sounds high definition and crisp. Even with the bass on the lowest setting, it is still pretty heavy, but I liked it. I listen to podcasts a lot and they sound awesome through this. I don't need to carry my phone as I go from room to room to listen; the volume goes up to a pretty high level.
You can connect it to the big music services, but if you don't have a paid account, you are pretty limited. I just connect my phone and play my saved music from that.
I would never have bought a speaker because I didn't see the value in having one, but after trying this, I would have bought one for my husband and gotten him a paid music account. He loves listening to music all the time and looking up information but has trouble doing it on his phone; what can I say, we're old. This makes it so much easier for him. Since he would have mostly used this for music, I would have picked this speaker; it is a bigger speaker with the ability to adjust the sound to your liking. The only thing I found frustrating was having to keep visiting the website to set it up, fixing connection issues and getting more information about what to do with it or what certain things meant. That being said, the website was very helpful and I was able to find everything I needed pretty easily. I would suggest that they offer this speaker with a free trial of a music service; that would make an awesome gift for a music lover.

The Belkin Soundform Elite is an amazing unit. Using Alexa style commands it plays radio, special music selections and commands. The sound is amazing, lots of base, and volume goes up higher than I would ever need. The sound is much better than the older Alexa I already have in our home. The design is appealing and has a textured feel that makes the unit easy to pick up and move to a new location.
The wireless charger only works on iPhone 8 or higher. The charging time is quick. The only draw back is that it will not charge the older phones. It does not charge an iPad, but getting a quick charge on my iPhone is a plus.
The app was easy to use and gave clear directions on setting up the Belkin. I am not tech savvy, so this is a great feature. I am looking forward to playing audio books through this speaker.

I was pleasantly surprised when I received this speaker in return for an honest review. I tested it in various applications and it did not disappoint.
When I unboxed the speaker I was impressed with the minimal packaging. Just enough to keep the speaker safe during shipping and environmentally responsible. The power cable was nestled in its own compartment below.
The setup of the speaker was relatively easy. Once I plugged in the power cable the colored google themed lights came on . Once they turned white the speaker informed me I had to download google home to control it.
I already had the app on my phone so with bluetooth and internet on I opened it up and "set up belkin smart speaker" appeared in the app. It found the speaker. When the phone found it there was a sound to let me know it was paired. It then asked to connect to the speaker and it replied with another sound, blue lights on the display. It then asked to connect to the Wi-Fi. I selected the correct channel and it paired easily. I was also able to pair it easily with my computer. Unfortunately I could only have one device paired at a time. I did notice when switching between the phone and computer connections I did have to restart the google home app on my phone occasionally to get it to work. Adjusting the volume is easy with the app or you can just say "hey google turn the music (up/down) by (number of steps)"
The sound was amazingly well reproduced for such a small device. Heavy hip hop bass came through without distortion. I listened to many genres of music and everything was clean and crisp. I even tried the speaker with a live Joan Jett concert and did not experience and discrepancies.
I also tried the speaker as a charger and this was a nice added feature that worked well and would make a great back up if I were to loose or damage the phone charging cable or charger. When you put the phone onto the charging area the phone conveniently shows you what percentage it is currently at. It will play audio while you are charging the phone.
The smart speaker is also convenient for asking simple questions about things such as the weather, telling jokes, random information etc. by just saying "hey google"

Just received today 5/21/2020. Very small light weight set anywhere. Setup takes a little time to figure out but no big deal. First load Google Home app on your Android phone plug in the speaker the Google app will walk you through setup be patient. Hey Google open Pandora, Hey Google call Joe mobile, Hey Google what's the weather just examples that work flawless. Set in my office awesome sound and clarity for such a small device. Pairs with my tablets, smart phones, tv's, desktop and laptop and voices commands work perfect no matter what I'm using. Especially like using to make phone calls while working at desk via voice command hands free to type while listening and talking. It's a little pricey but worth the convenience. Buy it you won't regret it!

I received this Smart Speaker from Belkin and was quite impressed by the sound quality. I have the top of the line speaker from Amazon the Studio. I am able to compare with that speaker. The Belkin weighs in around two pounds. This has a quality feel to it. Its fairly easy to set up. You have a nice connection with the google system of products. The charger is quite nice for your smartphone. I like the ability to call directly from this speaker. The speaker gives you quite a few options to connect with different music systems. For example SiriusXM, Spotify, You Tube music, Apple music. On and on it goes. For example I have an apple music account and I am able to connect that account with apple and play millions of songs on this speaker. The quality is quite good. The base and treble sounds were impressive to me. Comparing it to the studio is another story. I feel the studio is the best in the market for smart speakers. However, that is my opinion. The sound was close but really couldn't compare with the studios different woofers and tweeters that it has. However, don't let this Belkin model fool you. The sound is very good and I enjoyed listening to my vast library of music

My initial thoughts: this speaker feels solid with a little weight to it and I don't feel like it is going to break by being easily knocked over. The speaker looks great and has a quality feel. Small details but I also like how the power cord plugs into the speaker. It locks in place so I don't have to worry about it breaking or being easily pulled out. Pairing was easy and straight forward using the google home app and only took about 5 min if that.
As for sound and features, it has great sound and google assist picks up my prompts easily. If you are looking for a great speaker this is it super loud and clear. The feature are really all in the app so if you like google home you will love this speaker and the wireless charger is definitely a plus.
My only real complaint is the wifi setting. Even though my phone was connected via wifi I could not get the sounds to come out of the speaker. The google app want you to pair/link all your other apps like Pandora in the app. With that said it could have also been user error as once I linked the app it worked with no issues.

I got this to have in my office to be able to play music whenever I wanted as well as ask Google for various things. The wireless charging of my cell phone is also a nice feature and doesn't look half bad. It will only charge my company iPHONE though in a Supcase Unicorn Beetle but will NOT charge my S20 Ultra in a similar case. Not sure if it is just the size of my Galaxy S20 Ultra that puts it just out of range of the wireless or what but in the Supcase it will not charge wirelessly.
The sound from this little thing is very clear and even has a throaty bass to it on my desk. You can mute the microphone from touching the space identified as a button and you can connect multiple devices to it at once.
I also intended to use it as a speaker for my computer but for some reason after a bit of time the computer will stop seeing it as if it went into some sort of sleep mode which is a bit annoying. Overall though for the Google functionality and sound quality it is a very solid smart speaker.

The set up was extremely easy, and I am not tech savvy at all. The sound is great, I watch my shows while I work and use this as a speaker. The sound quality is better than a TV. Using the google assistant was just as easy as setting it up. It allowed me to connect my music and streaming apps so that I can listen through the speaker. Even better I can charge my phone on top while all this is streaming. All around the look, quality, sound and easiness to set up is great.

This speaker was something I didn't know I could find beneficial in many ways. It's one of those things you think you don't need it until you actually have it and can't live without. Presentation is impecable, nice box and the way it is packed inside is remarkable. Took it out of the box, plug it in. Got a notification on my phone, just a few minutes to set it up(very easy to follow instructions) and I was ready to test the sound. Now the sound quality is in one word: great. This speaker has very nice bass and of course the sound can be modified within the equalizer.
I've never experienced the Google assistant service on a speaker before(have it in my phone but let's be real...nobody uses that) so this was my first experience. It feels sort of futuristic to just talk and ask for a song to be played. Asking for weather updates or just the news is flawless. On a personal note, it's awesome to get home from buying groceries (or coming back from a long day at work) and as soon as I enter my home say "Hey Google play "x" song. Play "x" podcast, or just relaxing music, invaluable. Forget about turning on or off, forget about synchronizing anything to your phone, just say it, you got it. Volume controls? Just say volume up or down: ready!!!
The wireless charger is good too, it doesn't charge as fast as my wall charger but it does the job, plus it looks cool.
Finally, I firmly believe this speaker it's worth it. I'm considering buying one for a family member so she can experience this level of futuristic service and awesome sound coming from a relatively small piece of equipment.

I love this product! It has a cool modern styling and the perfect desktop size to showcase or tuck behind a picture frame. The audio is clear and plays at maxium volume. I like that my phone has a convenient charging deck while also playing my music. The google assistant is bonus and have you it more than I originally thought I would! 5 stars on the well made soundform elite speaker!!!
