I have a touchscreen hp laptop and I had needed to connect it to my modem so,I brought device to connect the ethernet cord to my hp; and this little device came in handy. It works perfectly and I don't how to worried about it over heating are burning out after 2days.

The adapter had allowed us to use and connect our device without purchasing a new connection device. Great purchase.

I purchased this for my MacBook Pro M1. Needed Ethernet connection to setup my NAS and was impressed how well it worked with my MacBook Pro. Plug and play it was that simple.

This product charges my iPad Pro 5th gen and Mac Book pro 2020 with M1 well. However, it does not give me gig speed on either device. I have gig service through my ISP. I bought a CalDigit adapter through apple that cost 150 and I can get 930 by 930 no problem. With this Belkin most I can get is 700 by 600. Same USB C port on my Mac, same ethernet cable from CalDigit, same everything just different adapter. I plug in the CalDigit and get 930 by 930. I have included 2 screenshots. One with result through CalDigit and the other with this Belkin. Its the same results on both my devices. Again, I can get 930 by 930 on my iPad Pro 5th generation with the CalDigit but can't get more than 700 by 600 using the Balkin.

Best Buy sent me used product. I don't understand what is happening to this company. This company no longer cares about its customers.

Efficient adapter; Connects to a USB-C charger and ethernet cable simultaneously. No issues with internet connectivity or charging issues when using both simultaneously.

Like many laptops these days, my work-issued laptop is a small one with no Ethernet port and USB-C charging only. This is exactly what I needed to be able to use an Ethernet cable and charge the laptop at the same time. It works perfectly with no issues to report. PROS: - Small and lightweight; perfect for traveling. - Flexible cable allows for movement of laptop while in use. - Supports full gigabit Ethernet speeds. - Charges my small laptop at its full charging speed of 60W. CONS: - None to report! There may be some laptops out there that require more than 60W of power that this adapter supports, so be sure to check your laptop's current power supply and charging requirement before you purchase.

Many newer, slimmer devices are coming with only USB-C ports as input and charge ports while not including larger ports like a standard Ethernet port. However, with an adapter like this USB-C to Ethernet + charge adapter you can use a standard gigabit Ethernet cable as well as charge your device at the same time. This works nicely if you are in an environment that doesn’t have any wireless capability or you must be in airplane mode but need network connectivity. This adapter provides up to gigabit speeds provided the network devices you attach to also provide up to that speed. The USB-C port on the adapter however, only works for passing through power and does not provide the full power to the device as some is lost through the adapter. Though not drastically different in times, it is noticeable when using the charger directly that you get a shorter charge time than through the adapter.

I have used this with both my Galaxy Book S and HP X360 Chromebook and it works flawlessly. If you need Ethernet through your USB-C port, you are covered with this dongle. There is nothing to configure- just plug it in the the USB-C port, and an Ethernet connection shows up on your taskbar. With Gigabit speed, you'll only be limited by the speed of your internet provider- not this dongle. The extra added attraction is that you can also attach your device's USB-C charger to the Adapter and it passes the power through so you can charge the device while using the Ethernet connection. That feature is a great convenience. I like Belkin products becuase they generally deliver exactly as promised, and this adapter is no exception.

I love the design, it's compact and durable. Easy to store in a bag or carry case. Best of all, you can connect the charging cable for you device directly into the Belkin adapter so if your device only has one USB-C port for power, you don't have to sacrifice speed for durability. I find this device extremely useful, and plan to get more for my family members. I highly recommend the Belkin - USB-C Network Adapter.

I purchased this for a large meeting when the vendor for the meeting site said that it was better to connect bia ethernet and my work laptop doesnt have an ethernet port, but this adapter allowed me to use the USB C port to have an Ethernet connection. Using this adapter I was able to finally verify that I’m receiving the 800 mbps service from my internet service provider. It’s size and weight is perfect.

Used this on both my Macbook Pro and Air and have no issues with it. Get full 1Gbps with it no problem. Just plug and play, didn't have to mess with anything special to get it to work.

This is good for some new ultra laptop with no ethernet port provided. It's very user friendly to install and use. It's also good that can be used for charging too.

As of April, 2023, I found exactly ZERO references online as to if this works with an Apple Silicon (specifically M2) Mac. I did see several references to M2s having issues with ethernet adapters. I was in a pinch due to a network problem, and took a chance with this. Zero config. Plugged it into my 2023 M2 MacBook Pro, and it was instantly recognized. Within 5 seconds I had an IP address and I was off to the races. The pass-through charging could be handy too, but that was just a bonus. Very happy that I found this. (oh, throughput was excellent)

Purchased the Belkin USB-C network adapter specifically for use with my Chromecast device so I had the ability to use a wired network connection for improved speed & reliability. Belkin has always been a reliable brand and they were again; it may seem like there are a lot of options out there that do similar things, but if you are looking to use with Chromecast, be sure you get one with a USB-C Connection as well as the USB-C PW. NOTE: you will also need to get a higher amp plug, the one that comes with the Chromecast will not be large enough to run PW through this or any ethernet adaptor. I used an 18W plug from a chromebook I picked up online for cheap.

This device is fabulous, we can watch everything from our phones to project on our tv, news, movies, etc. It has saved us $$$$$...wish I could of found it sooner. Easy to hook up so cut your cord with this lil device
