Great Projector At this Price Point

I have had this projector for nearly 3 months. It is used outdoors. The picture quality at this price point is excellent. It gets plenty bright, has vivid colors, and accurate motion. The fan is very quiet and is not a problem at all. One area of weakness is the speakers don’t get very loud and they sound pretty poor. Obviously this can be fixed by connecting a sound bar or other speaker. One other area of concern is that it lacks some features such as hdmi and built in Wi-Fi. Neither are deal breakers though and can be worked around.
Of note, when using it for the first time, I noticed that there was a small projection “blemish” while using the projector. After using the projector for about 4 hours, the bulb exploded. From my research online, I believe that there was a flaw with the bulb. I contacted Benq and was told to ship my projector at their cost to be cleaned out and to install a new bulb. Less than 2 weeks later, I received my projector back. It has worked flawlessly since the bulb was replaced. While ideally a bulb replacement would have been unnecessary, Benq solved the problem professionally and in a timely fashion.

First of all, let me just say that this projector deserves 5 stars for what you get at this price. Now, with that out of the way, let me just highlight some of the features that makes this projector worth it.
1. Price: $700 (on sale) is not a bad deal for a projector that offers 2,200 lumens at 1080P.
2: Picture quality: At 1080P, the image is sharp and bright even when there is plenty of ambient light coming through a window. I had previously bought a toy projector for $200 and watching anything with any ambient light was subpar and almost unwatchable. It's not the case with this projector that offers 2,200 lumens. See one of the pictures that shows the ambient light coming from outside.
3. Noise levels: It's a pretty quiet projector. The fan noise is not bad at all. I do have one concern, one of the fans that I have does not spin so I will be calling the company to inquire about the issue.
4. Remote control The remote that it comes with makes it easy to adjust your projector to your needs. It's pretty responsive and it comes with LED backlight so it's easy to use at night or when the room is dark.
5. Fast response time: You can arguably play video games without much lag. It's not what I got this projector for so I will not go into details. Most of my gaming is done using a 1440P monitor at 165 Hz.
The only complaint I do have is that some fast moving videos may show some slight blurring. Nothing too bad though, I can't really complain about it at this price point.
All in all, excellent projector that certainly deserves 5 stars for the price.

I contemplated buying an 85" T.V. for our bonus room, but instead and after countless hours of research, I decided on a projector, a very nice screen, and 4 each 3D glasses. All I can say is: Outstanding!! This projector has it all, brilliant color, outstanding 3D quality, no lag time for streaming, PS4 games are phenomenal and you feel as though you're in the game or the director. I also added a transmitter/receiver instead of an HDMI cable. It works great with exception of some 3D movies. Then I just plug in my HDMI cable.
Bottom line, if you're interested in a large screen T.V. for a fraction of the cost, purchase this truly unique and outstanding projector. Great buy for the money!

After reading a lot of reviews I gave this one a chance, and I can't be more happy. It works great, excellent picture on the wall, can't wait for my screen to get here. The 10w speaker work fine if you're still deciding on the surround sound, 110' screen on a small room about 12x12, I can only hear the fan when it's all quite.

This is a great home theater projector. I love this, it is amazing. Picture quality is absolutely amazing. Internal speakers on projectors normally aren't great but this one is the best one I have ever used. Would recommend and would purchase again.

This is a great entry level 1080p projector. I use it on my loft and it sits approximately 14 feet away from the wall its projected on. I haven't purchased a screen yet mainly because the picture looks good using just my white wall. I run an hdmi cord from the projector to my audio receiver through the arc connection. My firestick 4k max is also connected to my receiver and I just stream away. The picture is bright, colors are great, and the picture is sharp. No complaints whatsoever, except that I wish I had purchased this projector a lot sooner!

This is my 3rd home theater projector. This is also my best projector so far. Setup was easy. The 2 hdmi ports make switching a breeze. The audio out port comes in handy if I want to use it outdoors. Now the important part. The picture. It’s really great. Vivid for sure. I don’t notice any “rainbow effect” I have two boys under 10, so we watch a lot of animated movies. Pixar, marvel and Disney all look really amazing. I’m extremely satisfied with this purchase. At the price, I feel like I stole it! Oh and the fan is very quiet. My only negative is that it sometimes has issues playing well with my Bose lifestyle system. I did some checking and I think it’s because my Bose is from 2008 and the Bose has issues keeping up with today’s tech.

Love this projector. Quality is fantastic even though it's 1080p. we watch on a 100 inch screen and compared to the 720p it replaced, it seems like night and day. Contrast is pretty good, very little blur, and easy interface. My only reason to knock it down a star is that I do see the rainbow effect and it is distracting. otherwise, this is an awesome purchase for the price.

My first projector and “Wow” I am astonished by the picture quality! Bought it for outdoor movie nights with my kids. I assumed I had to wait for it to be completely dark out to use it but it looked pretty good with there still being a little bit of light left out. Super easy to set up (1st timer here) and we used a elite outdoor 120” screen. Sound was good enough might invest in some external speakers in the future. All in all this was an awesome purchase!

Out of the box this was a joy to watch, even when placed on the coffee table. Once I got it mounted on the ceiling, my theater room dream had come true. Crisp picture, intuitive remote and very quiet.

Great 1080p projector

This DLP projector has a great image and I did not perceived any rainbow effect. For me the 1080p resolution is perfect because of my content, sitting distance and since it’s not replacing my tv, so it’s more for watching movies.
Brightness is decent with some light, but better suited for darker rooms. I use it inside and outside.
The rear USB is helpful to power streaming devices connected to the HDMI. It has outdoor our only via 3.5mm, no optical, this is more designed toward receiving video signal.
Make sure to place attention to the installation distance to ensure it works with your room setup, considering ceiling fans or light fixture to clear.

After 2 weeks of use, so far so good! It was easy to set up. There was a little guesswork on getting it to fit my screen, but we got it. It's very quiet, but throws off a bit of heat. The picture is really good. This isn't 4k, and it won't be confused for it, but the colors are great, it works really well in any lighting too! For the money, this is a really good purchase.

Great projector for casual gaming and home theaters.
Quality is better than I expected. Good contrast and color.
Super easy to use.
Projector itself runs pretty hot but I haven't had any issues with it. Definitely need to keep it well ventilated.
Very nice having all the different input options. Sound quality straight from the projector isn't terrible but I would certainly recommend a sound bar or speakers.
Input lag is very minimal which is also a bonus for anyone concerned about gaming.

I really did not want a white colored projector, however I am glad I licked this over more stylish options. Fantastic image quality. Very clean and clear image with a ton of light. SO much brighter than those inexpensive models that come from the no name brands. Highly recommended on this product if you want a 1920x1080 projector.
