Although this is not the newest model, I am totally impressed with this monitor. I’m blind, so it’s crucial that I get a monitor that has exceptional quality in clarity, richness, and various features for graphic design, edits, etc. It did not disappoint! BenQ is one of the best manufacturers of photography-oriented monitors. The brightness level is high (350cd/m2). It has crisp ultra-high definition picture, accurate colors, solid grayscale performance and a robust feature set. It has a 4K display, calibrated IPS panel, 32” screen and awesome connectivity options. It even has a well-integrated picture in picture mode with plenty of presets that work! It’s one of the best professional monitors I’ve come across! I would definitely recommend this to others! AE

I bought this display because it advertised as true color performer. Yes it has true color. Also I used this more than one year without any trouble. 32” is good for photo editing and gaming.

Best 4k Monitor on the market for FilmmakersPERIOD

This monitor is the best monitor I've ever used in my life. I spent extensive hours researching what's the best quality monitor without expensive spending $5,000+ on a Eizo CG-318-4K 31.1" DCI 4K Hardware Calibration IPS Monitor. BenQ makes another two 32” 4k monitors but this one offers me HDMI 2.0 at 60Hz and sRGB which is what I use the most when color correcting and grading in Premiere. I shoot Vlog and I switch it back and forth to Rec. 709 with the very handy dongle (Hotkey Puck) that comes with. I do not need Adobe RGB. Virtually all of my work is for the internet, so sRGB is my space. The stand is super well built made out of hard industrial plastic. Very solid and heavy. The other two BenQ's seem to be made out of metal, but this stand is rock solid in my experience. I did buy mine at BestBuy because at the time it wasn't available on Amazon. Buy it here if possible! Most monitors have light leaks and this one is no different but just not a big deal at all. Look no further my friend. For 800 buck you will NOT find anything better (at least in Q1 of 2018). Peace ^+^ UPDATE 20180308 I found the perfect hood because it doesn't come with one. I asked the manufacturer and s/he said it fits this monitor perfectly: iLooker-32P 31&32 inch Pro Edition LCD LED Video Monitor Hood Sunshade Sunhood for Dell HP Viewsonic Philips Samsung LG EIZO NEC ASUS ACER BENQ AOC LENOVO, Fits Monitor Frame Width 725-745mm Question: The chart doesn’t list the BenQ PD3200U 32". Doesn’t this hood actually fit on a BenQ PD3200U 32" and they forgot to list it? Answer: Yes,it's perfect fis BenQ PU3200U. We will list it later, thank you very much. Okay, so it's not the newest model, but we've been totally impressed with the monitor. Bought for my wife who is a photographer and designer and is using this with her 2018 MBP. The monitor offers an amazing amount of settings, connections, etc. The hocky puck is handy for quick setting changes. The stand is hands down the best one either of us has ever used. No Thunderbolt, but we already have a Thunderbolt hub and don't plan to daisy chain monitors, so not really an issue, with the only drawback really being that Apple won't support the standard that lets you control the speakers over the HDMI or DP cable. The speakers are meh, as are most built in speakers, but for now do what they need to.

Best 32 inch IPS monitor for the price

I tried other 32 inch or larger monitors from LG and they were not as clear or bright as the BenQ UHD. IPS is the preferred technology to produce the brightest and clearest picture. The 27 inch LG IPS model is great, but I wanted the same thing in the next larger size - 32 inch. The BenQ 4K UHD is not quite as bright as the LG 27 inch IPS, but it is clearer than the LG models that are not IPS. The BenQ is a little pricey in my opinion but much better than the less expensive non-IPS models from LG I tried and much less expensive than the 32 inch LG IPS model. For the money, this is the best 32 inch 4K IPS monitor you can buy. After trying 2 other models, I am finally a satisfied customer with this monitor.

This monitor is fantastic! Colors are sharp. The sound from the speaker is clear. I haven't used the full KVM set up yet. But it is easy to switch it between two video sources. I have not had any problems with dead pixels or jittery picture as some reviewers have had in the past.

Superb Monitor. It works well both on my HP and Apple computer. Great HD definition, stunning videos, photos and TV picture quality. I am using at 30 hertz right now, but it suppose to be capable of 60 hertz. At 30 hertz on some websites you get occasional flickering, still investigating how to set it to 60 hertz, that should stop the flickering. There documentation clear states that 60 hertz is the Optimum setting. This review at day 10 of ownership with the Monitor. For Apple user fyi, to use 2 high definition Monitor and this is 1 of them, you must use thunderbolt ports for each monitor or 1 will not show up.

I elected to buy this model to upgrade to 4k. Upgraded from a 27" Dell UltraSharp. The picture quality of the BenQ-32" is great. I am using an older MBP 2013 (HDMI out) and a Dell docking station (HDMI out) for laptop PC work. Built in KVM + PBP/PIP is great allowing quick changes between the machines. The included control puck is a nice bonus to have hotkeys readily available and at your disposal. There have been a few times were a machine has gone to sleep requiring opening of clamshell lid on the but this can be adjusted via power settings.

There's a known ongoing issue with this model and other manufacturers that utilize the same screen. Occasionally, and at random, the screen will go full black for 1-3 seconds. I've seen this discussed in many reviews online. I contacted Benq, they set up an RMA, I mailed off the monitor, got it back within two weeks, fired it up, and within the first half hour the same problem arose. This is supposedly after they figured out the firmware fix for this. I didn't feel like messing with it anymore, and sought out a different 4k model, but unfortunately Best Buy didn't carry it so I got it at B&H. Until they resolve this issue, and take the older models off the shelves, I'd avoid this particular monitor.

This is probably the best monitor for the price. Very sharp picture with excellent contrast. It does flicker. I knew that there were reviews that said that it flickers before I purchased it and decided to go with it anyway. It doesn't flicker often.....but every now and then.

Bought this to replace a very old, small monitor. I wanted several things (internal speakers, size, resolution, etc.). This fits the bill. I love the size because it allows me to see my documents in full and have multiple windows open and see large amounts of them. I have not used the hockey puck and I'm not really a graphic artist type, but it seems like a cool addition. I love the clarity of the screen and because of the resolution my eyes don't get tired.

BenQ makes a solid monitor and the only thing that I have reservation about is the response time is a little slow when I bring up some video. However, the main purpose I bought the monitor was photo editor and it does the job very well. My ultimate plans are to get the BenQ 320.

I purchased for use as my general PC monitor, including gaming. The monitor is superb at rendering photographs in a size large enough for me to determine exact details, even down to the pixel level for photo editing needs. However, the real refresh rate and speed is less than "advertised" and for gaming purposes, the monitor has been less successful: frame jitters, not so smooth transitions--however colors are really astounding!! Also, this unit has a dark patch in the middle of the screen where the back lighting--or whatever the technology is--presumably does not reach as well. I've considered returning as a defect, but I'm not so sure it's just part of the technology. You only notice when you have a bright white light encompassing the screen. For instance, as I write this review, I notice it, but ignore it.
