Good booster for component that needed alternate connection and tough reception. Not that much better than my unpowered t antenna. But could just be my set up

It does what it is supposed to do - amplify weak signals and improve upon the simple straight antenna that comes with most stereo receivers. The station I was trying to pull in (~40 miles away) had about 50% signal strength but now is at 100%. Unfortunately, not all the signal noise is filtered out and this can vary with atmospheric conditions. It does help to move any items which may add noise or interference away from the antenna leads ,and perhaps switch to mono if the noise is really bad. My 1990's vintage Yamaha receiver has speaker-wire type antenna inputs, and the adapter that comes with the antenna can be made to work using two short wire leads.

I bought this to use on the Sharp 5 disk player with am/fm radio (as the antenna that comes with the unit is useless) I even asked if it would plug into the Sharp unit and they said yes, but it does not so unless I can find a way to hook it's co ax cable (the little adapter for the co ax cable that comes with it is useless to my unit) to the unit I will have to take it back

I bought this antenna for my Yamaha stereo receiver to enhance radio signal reception since I live in an area where there isn't great signal. Yes, even here in Atlanta, GA, USA there some locations like that. This antenna works okay on FM but is still weak on AM, but it works for my purposes. It comes with all the cables you need to connect it to your stereo in various configurations and a 120V power adaptor to plug it into house power. It also has an aesthetically pleasing design, so it doesn't detract from home decor. On the downside, the cables are a little short so there is limit on how far away from your stereo you can place it, and it needs to be near as possible to a window. Overall, at Best Buy's price point, it is a good cost-effective option if you need a boost in radio signal reception.

The antenna works. The signals are strong. Connect to stereo, Plug in and that's it. I wish the cords were a little longer though. Also, I expected more AM stations to come through. I will see if there is sntthing additional I need to do. Overall, I am satisfied with my purchase. Happy that Best Buy had it in the store for purchase!

I have this connected to my Yamaha RX-V385BL Home Theatre Receiver in the basement. I thought it would have been more powerfull to pull in all stations. There are two windows within 8 feet of where I have the device placed. I cannot get it any closer to the windows. It does pull in certain stations compared to the di-pole or wire antenna that Yamaha provides. I was hoping to get more stations with this type of device. It works but not as what I thought it would do.

It works nicely, but I had to add a coupler and an extension cable to the FM cable to get it long enough to set it close enough to the window to get rid of the static. The AM is not connected because I don't listen to AM anyway. It's easy to hide behind a lamp and it's nice not to have rabbit ears sticking up in the air any more.

This is the first antenna that I have purchased that actually did what it said it will do,I have tried 4 different antenna,Theres a local radio stations that dominates radio broadcasting,Now using this antenna Im able to recieve stations beyond my city a reach out to other stations

Purchased this for my Onkyo stereo system as I thought a powered antenna would help with signal reception. As it is, it didn't do any better - either amplified or unamplified - than the cobbled-together one I had. It's better than nothing and it "works", but lower your expectations.

Worked great at my house, but kind of spotty at work… which is on the first floor of a 10 story building. Happy with the quality and easy of setup.

I am confused about this product. I plug in am and fm connections, it works great. But when i plug in power supply it doesnt work. Unless i hold it up in the air. I dont know if it is the location yet or if its defective. Will get a longer coaxial cable and extend it. But then the am cables wont reach.

Great would recommend this digital antenna . Easy to install. I get good reception

The AM/FM Amplified Indoor Radio Antenna works very well inside my house which allows me to pull in hard to pick up stations. The Antenna can be adjusted in different directions which makes bring harder signals easier, I recommend this antenna for any receiver where you would like to improve the quality of hard to get signal.

Works good after some adjustments.. can get all local channels and even a few from major city near by.

It works very well because was able to pick up AM and FM stations with no static on my tuner, So I can listen to Brewer games on speakers all over my home.

Works great. My son is so happy. No more static. Happy kid.

I bought this AM-FM antenna as an addition to an older Yamaha receiver that I truly wanted to listen to BOTH FM broadcasts of local Colorado Springs stations, AND AM broadcasts for sporting events...INDEED it works probably better than I had anticipated, and HAPPY it doesn't take a lot to hookup, although my older Yamaha receiver is adapted to this antenna's wiring accessories! LOVE IT!
