This is a great little case. It’s both thicker and more straightforward in design than Insignia’s prior model for the same, Gen 3 AirPods. Instead of a little flap at the bottom, this simply provides easy access to the charging port. The carabiner attachment point has switched sides and I love the new circular carabiner design. It not only looks nicer than the more typical carabiner in the old style, but also makes a great finger loop to pull the case from a bag. As I own the prior case, (purchased fairly recently) it’s clear that the new one is thicker. The top cover holds well with just friction and no longer needs (or has) as 3M adhesive strip to help in that regard. I’ve had a pair of AirPods for years and always stored them in a little bag to keep them from getting scuffed. I’m not sure why I didn’t just get a case sooner. The nice silicone material will help absorb shocks from drops, plus it's inert and wont react with anything (like other plastics can) Overall, it’s built very well, it’s well designed, and looks great. At the price, it’s a no brainer.

I was in a rush for a camping trip and I needed a quick case for my airpods. I looked around at several stores and I didn't want anything flashy to attract animals; i didn't need a cartoon or a mascot of any kind, etc. I found this little guy and was worried at first, but the staff at Best Buy was nice enough to let me see an open box and I was able to tug on the ring to see if it'll rip. I felt it was sturdy enough so I just went with it and went on my way. Got home, opened it, and I love it. It's not too flashy, the holes line up correctly so you can see your case charging, the bottom is easily accessible. The 'tugginess' the stretchability the little give when you tug on this thing is excellent. Bumps and scrapes on my trip protected my case and caused a little dirt on the silicone case, but I'd rather it damage the silicone case than my airpod case. It was very secure/snug , my airpods never fell out. Overall, the fact that everything lined up, the ring is secure, the case was protecting my airpods and not letting it slip out, and it was manageable to remove the case by stretching it, makes me pick this silicone based case over all the other silly cases out there. Couldn't be happier

First off, I love the blue denim color of the silicone. Looks really nice with the gold key ring. Perfect for snapping onto my carabiner, which is on all of our families' key rings. This way, it i take a different car, I just latch my ipods and case right to it. Also good to color code your case if another household member has the same ear pieces. The apple case fits easily into the silicon jacket. Definitely will save the ipod's case from abuse in my pocket or gym - carry on bags. Our family has magnetic hooks all over the side of the refrigerator. This makes the perfect location for car and house key. Now we a=can also hang our personal electronic for safe keeping when not in use. I hate looking for things when I am in a hurry to leave the house. The GREEN LED lines up perfectly on the front. Not that this is only for 3rd generation Ipods. This is not compatible with the newer 4th generation case. Too bad since its competitively priced and inexpensive. As for the charging LED, they too are visible on the back of the case.

Did not fit my air pod pros so I still looking for a great case!

The Best Buy essentials Silicone Case, model 24G30S for my AirPods Gen 3 is a great way to protect my AirPods Gen 3 let me explain further. I often drop my AirPods and my kid decided to put stickers all over them when they got scratched so finally I had to get the pods protected with this case and I am happy with it. This case cradles and protects my AirPods from drops up to 3.94 feet, in return it gives me peace of mind when I'm on the go and it protects them from dirt and debris too. The circular shiny gold carabiner is not only stylish but also highly functional. It easily attaches to my backpack, pants, or keychain, making it convenient to carry them everywhere and I can take it off if necessary. I really like that the case supports wireless charging this way I do not have to remove it every time I need to charge my AirPods. And I do like the design; it gives access to everything on them including the charging port so I do not need to take it off. The silicone material feels sturdy yet soft and provides a good grip, so it is harder for me to drop them like I usually do without it. And the one-year limited warranty adds an extra layer of confidence in the product's quality and durability. Probably something Apple designed with cases in mind. Guess I’m trying to say that the top hat won’t come loose as you open and close it. – PERFORMANCE – The silicone case has been put to good use since possession. I’m a pretty careful person when it comes to stuff like this and I haven’t dropped it (yet), but I think if I had a spill, the case would hold up just fine. But I can’t speak for the lid staying put. I’ve seen AirPods cases dropped every now and then and the AirPods themselves come jumping out. So keep in mind that this will protect the case from bumps and scratches and even the dreaded drop, but the AirPods themselves may not be protected after the fact. This is not the fault of the silicone case as the actual case is just held close by a magnet. – CONCLUSION – At its price point, it's hard to not want this case for your AirPods. If you’re like me and put a case around your smartphone, then why wouldn’t you put one around your AirPods as they do go through the same pains of sharing the same space as keys in a pocket or purse. As for the occasional fumble: just know it does it happen…..

My fiance and I have been fans of the Apple AirPods since they were first released. The only issue either of us has had was keeping the charging case protected. Silicone cases like this one are perfect for this purpose. In addition to that, the case protects the shell of the AirPods from getting scratched. This particular case is designed with an O-Ring carabiner clip which is helpful for attaching it to backpacks, key rings, or belt loops. The case seems sturdy. One of the features of this case is a silicone strap that connects the top to the base of the case. This is nice because it means that the top can’t get separated from the bottom of the case, but it is pretty thin. I pulled on it to see if it stretched out and I didn’t seem to change the integrity of the strap. I do, however, wonder how it will fare over time. The silicone is smooth, but it does collect pocket lint, which is a fatal flaw of this material. It’s very protective, but it doesn’t stay super clean. The charging port cover is open, which means that it’s not completely resistant to the elements. There is a cutout for the indicator LED on the front and a clear indicator of where the reset/pairing button on the back of the AirPod case is. The case isn’t super heavy, but it will add some weight to the AirPods. Overall, this is a nice case and it’s better than no protection at all. If you are just looking for something to give your AirPods some added protection without a lot of flare, this is a nice, affordable option.

Once the AirPods case is properly inserted there is no possibility of the case slipping off without it being deliberately removed. Just make sure that you choose the silicone case model that exactly matches your AirPods generation. Much like smart phones, AirPods dimensions change slightly from year to year. This often makes cases incompatible with previous or subsequent generations. There is a bottom cutout that allows access to the AirPods changing port. There is also a small cutout on the front of the case that provides visibility of the power indicator. The rear of the case is soft enough to easily accommodate pressing the rear AirPods button. Insignia AirPod Gen 3 Silicone AirPod Case in Black, It fits perfectly you can easily put on and take off if needed a unlike others I've had in the past, it is not cheaply made feels nice and sturdy, it smooth to the touch, it's also comes with a removable black carabiner which I like to use to hang inside of my purse or backpack to make my AirPods easier to find rather then digging thru my bags. The charging port cut outs are perfect no need ti remove you case to charge and also the access to your button and It also has drop protection of almost 4 feet, 3.94ft to be exact. It comes in multiple colors if you like to change it up. I couldn't be happier with the quality and appearance, although it's just black its nice Matt smooth case. I like simple solid dark colors nothing better then black. I also got one for my AirPod 2nd gen because I liked them so much. The price is perfect not overly expensive like other brands.
