I have been super-pleased with my best buy membership on items purchased, installations, access to geek squad by phone or in-person, etc. Today was my first disappointment when my induction cooktop was delivered and installation refused because they didn't want liability for removing existing gas cooktop. we had had electrical capacity installed which was only requirement that had been communicated from prior geek squad on-site visit. The gentlemen delivering refused to take out the current gas unit.

He helped me purchase an amazing Camera for my teenage daughter who just spent a week crying after she lost photos, and her SD card got corrupted from our T7. Joshua elaborately gave me all the benefits of becoming a My Best buy TOTAL member was so thorough and informational on all the benefits I Could not say NO. Step by step he walked me through the pamphlet and with all my purchases that would get their 24mo protection coming with my membership I've already utilized the $178 value IMMEDIATELY. Joshua and I did the math together and have already gained easily over $550 of just PROTECTION VALUE ALONE, on the side while being a member you get best buy "Member" Prices ON TOP of every perk that Best Buy and Geek Squad offer. I can't say enough about My Best Buy Total membership. I've had it in various name-forms for 13 years now. It has saved me a lot of headaches in fixing my devices. I have geek squad come on remotely every two months for a pc-tune up which keeps me running in top form. And it's super helpful for aiding my 'senior' dad who has troubles with anything techy. Geek squad is there to the rescue. Also nice that they cover all my devices in my household. With 4 adult folks living here, all with multiple devices, it's been a lifesaver. The first thing I tell folks when they ask me for tech help is to invest in the Best Buy plan. It's the best investment you can make for your sanity.

I have made use of Best Buy Total Tech and the Geek Squad for several years. I enjoy the unlimited Geek Squad assistance. Had it not been for the Geek Squad I would still be trying to set-up my new lap top so it would be usable. Every issue I had I called on the Geek Squad for help. I was not able to load or find HP Smart that needs to be linked to my printer. The tech knew what I was talking about, found the HP Smart info in the system, ran the process to attach it to my lap top and added this interface to my desktop. Another tech was able to attach Gmail under Google to my laptop which I was not able to find. Each technician was thoughtful, courteous, patient and ensured they had addressed my issues prior to disconnecting from my lap top and closing their case. I also need to learn the different features under Windows 11.

I had a very pleasant experience working with Ryan and Jonah from the Best Buy in Mira Mesa, CA. I wanted to build a new PC, and had spent time researching every part. I had very specific questions about which parts were the best on the market right now, and tech terms I wasn't familiar with, and they were able to answer all of them. They spent ample time with me until all my questions were answered, and all the bases were covered. I just picked up my PC build today, and they absolutely knocked it out of the park. I am super excited to jump into some new-and-improved gaming. I can't emphasize enough how helpful both Ryan and Jonah were in this process. They really know computers, they were easy to talk to, and they were diligent about helping me find every part I was looking for. They are both truly great, upstanding employees that deserve to be recognized for going above and beyond. Overall, I had a very positive experience working with Geek Squad, and I would build with them again.

If you stop to think about it, as I did, you probably buy a lot of tech, appliances, phones, audio visual, flood lights, smart home components, and on and on. It really adds up. And, if you're also like me, you serve as your family's purchaser and technical support for their items as well. For these reasons, I finally joined BB Total. Given that it includes Apple Care (something Apple charges extra for!), my Mac, iPhone, and Airpod purchases paid for my first year membership in those charges alone. I do most of my own tech repairs and programming, but I do love the ability to walk in and return an unfixable device and walk out with a replacement then and there. Try that with your favorite online retailer. Sure, I get it. BB Total is not for everyone who might buy one or two items every now and again. But if you're living in a home with a family and are making use of the latest technologies out there, you might be surprised at just how much you're buying. Getting it all from one location (that also price matches) and gives you extended warranties and other services for a flat fee that covers nearly everything, then BB Total becomes a pretty compelling consideration.

The Best Buy total membership is one of the Best Purchases on the market today, bar none. Help and support are available by knowledgeable employees 24/7, so there is no need to panic. No waiting for stores to open or ‘the specialist in that area’ to return, etc. Drop off is a good service, also. Appointments are nice as well - saving time and gasoline. These I refer to as one-and-done. When a trip to the store is necessary, it is a pleasant experience because there is a nice atmosphere, employees are smiling and and welcoming, and have a willingness to be helpful, rather than just standing around like some stores offer.

To be honest, I signed up for a discount… I’ve actually had a very complex year with all of my technology lol. I’ve had my laptop crash and computer is malfunction and having this has been really useful this year. Personally, I think it is overpriced, but I have definitely gotten mymoney back with all of the repairs and services that I’ve used with it. But the gentleman who helped me set it up was not nice at all. Definitely lied about how it works and the cancellation policy but does not matter anymore because I have actually found to take good use for it. Five stars for the product and zero stars for the employee that help sign me up.

Some violet thunder storms have plagued our area, In the spring I lost a cable modem to a lightning strike . In late June we lost a second cable mode, a router and Ethernet connected TV. MY home insurance deductible is now $6k and has no protection for items below this threshold. I bought the Best Buy Protection plan on a whim as i had bought a laptop for my rambunctious grandson, Laptop is okay most everything else now replaced as above due to lightning. This plan has been very good for me.

I bought this when i bought my laptop, just as added insurance if something were to go wrong. I haven't needed to use it for my laptop, but it isn’t just for the product you're buying at the time of purchase, it can be used for all of your electronics. My daughter is autistic and has several tablets, not purchased at Best Buy. She managed to turn off parental controls and reset the password on her new tablet, then couldn't remember the password. We took it down to Best Buy, and they fixed it in minutes for zero additional costs. I will renew this every year just for that reason. Everything else is just a bonus. If you are a special needs parent, do yourself a favor, and buy this!

If you're going to buy a laptop, prebuilt PC, or are planning to build a PC of your own through BB, the membership isn't just a convenience, it's a requirement. While it IS pricey, the value you get out of it is ridiculous, considering it lasts the year through. You avoid an insane number of repair/diagnostic fees that you'd run into with other places, you get updates when parts you're looking at drop if they go out of stock, and it's genuinely just a lifesaver being able to add on a protection plan for every single thing you buy at no extra cost. With the parts I've gotten so far, the protection plans for all of them would've amounted to about $700 altogether, but they're covered in totality by the membership fee.

3 year member, I was very disappointed when my membership had an expired card on it. I contacted them 4 days too late to rectify. No w, ALL OF MY WARRANTIES ARE NULL AND VOID. My account still shows all of them. But I am out of luck. I called. The "back" office was supposed to contact me, but its been 5 DAYS, nothing. Now way to contact for help to fix. So, I paid more to go with Best Buy and now it kind of wasn't worth it without the coverage,

I have been renewing my Best Buy Total membership each year and plan on continuing to do so because they're always there for me when I need them for any of the products that I need to bring in for help one way or another. This team is the best I have ever encountered. I’ve been a Totaltech member for three years and Geek Squad for 5-years before that. I call them primarily to help me out with technical issue with either my laptop or my printer or my phone. They are polite, easy to talk with, and they in turn are easily understood making sure that you’re completely satisfied before ending the connection. We enjoyed a bonus this year when we bought a major appliance and found that because we we’re Totaltech members we enjoyed an additional discount as well as free delivery and set up & an additional year on the warranty.

I purchased the Total Membership because I had several large purchases, and paying for individual protection plans for each would have cost more than the membership fee. However, to my surprise, I've received far more than just device protection! I successfully exchanged my TV twice with almost no hassle, finally getting the one I wanted. I also received a $200 price match thanks to the extended price match period included with the membership. I definitely recommend it!
