Aside from the general laptop tune-ups I get from the Geeks, I've had a couple of issues that they were extremely helpful with and both issues were solved with their guidance via telephone. One helped with a soundbar that I could not get to connect to my tv. My basic cable provider tried everything as well. After 90 minutes they suggested I get a new remote. I did that. It didn't solve anything. Then I remembered that the Geeks help with televisions, phones, etc. not just computers and the help is included in the monthly rate. I called the Geeks and within minutes soundbar was all set. The Geek provided an explanation of the issue in terms that I understood. Had sound on tv within 5 minutes! I love the service! So far, all the Geeks have been patient, kind and thorough.

This plan more than paid for itself in the first month and the peace of mind knowing their support is there if and when I may need it is priceless.

Love my protection plan will get another one when I get another product from Best buy

The Geek Squad is a tremendous source for the Tech help needed on occasion. Great value for the cost.

I purchased this for my pre-built computer. When the computer came in, the fans weren’t plugged into the fan controller. I didn’t know why they weren’t working so I took it into geek squad. I was told it’d be easiest to send the computer back for a replacement, so I called up a friend who builds PC’s. The first thing he did was open up the pack and see a hanging wire. Plugged it in, and boom. Perfectly working computer. I can’t speak to the quality of the work geek squad does do, but it was frustrating that in that situation they wouldn’t even look at it (and if they had, would have found and resolved the issue in seconds). Not mad, just annoyed.
