I find this product to be the best in the market. Wouldn't recommend using on young kids (i wish i knew the consequences before trying on my kid) or they'll hate you forever because it gets pretty hot for 3 seconds. But, all it takes is a 3 seconds pain and you're itch/pain free. Life saver in summer. Every household should have one.

I live in Illinois and I'm a Mosquito's magnet. I saw this on Deal of the Day and thought I would give it a try, thinking there is no way this will work. Wow, it works! The first couple times I thought it burnt me. But found out even at the maximum, it doesn't actually burn you and leave any burn marks. Now in the summer I carry it with me when I'm cutting the grass or any other outside work that I do. I've even shown it to my neighbors :-)

We’ve been having a lot of mosquitos in Los Angeles recently due to the rains and El Nino weather. The mosquitos have been biting nonstop and this has actually helped with the bug bites. Normally I’d just use soap and water on the bites but this has helped eith the irritation and itching. I bought two so that I’ll have one at home and another on the go.

TL;DR: If you’re at all targeted by or sensitive to mosquitos, buy it. If you aren’t but have loved ones that are, buy it for them. All my life, wherever I’ve lived, I’ve been targeted by mosquitos and plagued by the unsightly swelling and incessant itching that follows, sometimes for weeks at a time. If there’s a single mosquito in a room, it’ll seek me out; I say goodbye to my happiness whenever I travel anywhere where they are prevalent. This item has been a game changer. Small enough to carry around in a pocket or pouch (pictured with coins for comparison), well constructed, and easy to use, it’s been my best friend for the last three weeks as I’ve traveled across India through many of their natural habitats; wetlands, forests, cities, and public toilets. I still take precautions to not get bitten, but now if I am, I can use this and forget about it within a day rather than being uncomfortable for weeks. This product works best if used immediately after being bitten, when in my experience it can almost fully prevent swelling and 70-90% of untreated itching after a single application; if you’re unable to use it right away or if some itching and swelling persists, you can also use it later to speed up recovery or further reduce symptoms. Fair warning that application can hurt if you’re sensitive (I am), but the pain does NOT persist after the heat is removed and the temporary discomfort is very much worth the significant reduction in swelling and itching from mosquito bites. Just something to keep in mind if you’re planning on using this on someone other than yourself, like a child. I would recommend this product to anyone who has mosquito-related trauma or feels unfairly targeted by the pests; this is a new household and travel essential for me due to the significant quality of life improvement.

Just git stung by a huge black wasp looking thing and my finger was thumping and hurt so much I was feeling light-headed. Then I remembered I bought one of these so found it and just used… the thumping and pain stopped almost immediately. I am so shocked. I was surprised at how hot the plate got so I had to do a second time and just hold on for the 3 seconds… now there is just a dull ache. Amazing

Absolutely love it! If your like me and get bit a ton and spend your whole spring and summer months scratching like crazy, you definitely need this. I was using a blow dryer (found that info online a few years ago) but it burns the whole area around the bite. So when I saw this bug bite healer, I decided to try it. Small, fits in the palm of your hand, lightweight and quiet. By far the best thing I ever used. It doesnt burn the whole area and doesnt itch really bad as you use it like the dryer does. A quick 3 to 6 seconds and its instant relief. I will definitely buy this again. Customer for life

This thing is awesome! It actually works! I get eaten alive by mosquitos when I sit outside. I had a few bites in me tonight and this thing did the trick! The itching stops almost instantly! One buying another, one for the house and one for the car!

It amazingly works. Living in Florida and dealing with the bugs is the pain in the @#! until I found this device. It works right out of the box. All the itching were gone IMMEDIATELY. I just pressed the button once (3 seconds) and it was enough because it kinda feels hot if you just start to use it. Regardless of how long the itchiness existed, I just used it and the itching went away. I like it so much so I bought an extra one for traveling. Lol. I bought it when it was on sale so that's another plus. Would highly recommend.

Hot Dracula is what I call this nifty little invention. It does a good job of minimizing the effects of bug bites and my daughters are magnets for bug bites. So in a few days, it has handled more bug bites than Doc McStuffins.

I am allergic to bites, which swell a lot. If dont right away rhe bug bites disappear like magic. If you wait or arent able to use right away in order to kill the “poisen” before ir penetrates; than you may need to use the 6 second setting, or do more than once on the 3 second setting. For those sensitive to pain, you will definatly fee the burn, but its a coiple of second, well worth it for instant relief. Great device!!! Do not hesitate.

Excellent product but the plastic that holds the activation button somehow disintegrated only a few months after purchase. This device really helps with mosquito bites - for me, short heat application is enough and the effect is immediate, no scratching, no discomfort, and the swelling goes away very very soon. Batteries last a long time too. However, the plastic housing that holds the activation button has some problems. A few month after use I noticed that the activation button doesn't work sometimes. I opened the device and discovered that the plastic housing that keeps the button in place became brittle somehow and completely fell apart. It can still be activated if I reach inside for the micro switch. But, of course, this is not optimal. I wish they would use better materials for this device. It's really very very helpful for insect bites.

Pretty nice and helpful little device against the consequences of mosquito bites. It is most useful when mosquito bit not long time ago, within up to half-an-hour. If you use the device, the bite will not be itchy, and will be cured quick. Nevertheless, it helps with yesterdays bites as well. When the bite gets itchy, use the device, endure 3 or 6 sec, and you will be happy.

I'm in the yard all the time, so I've accepted that I'll get bitten, I saw this tool on BB's DOTD so I tried it. It is amazing and works just as promoted. I don't need my Cortaid or Gold Bond Rapid relief creams anymore.

The insect bite healer is a great item. It is a little hot when first using it but it sure does heal the bite.

This German itchy remover really works. I was apprehensive at first and my wife was especially skeptical, but after using it on myself for a week. It really does work wonders. I got used to the heat quickly and can tolerate it fine in the short 3s burst. I'm not sure my children can handle the heat though so I didn't use it on them. I had initially purchased it to use on them. I even use it for rashes and it works as well. Makes it less itchy that I forget about scratching completely. I tested it on my wife and she had spots on her arm of unknown origin and she discovered for herself the itchiness had subsided. After the first time, she knew what to expect in terms of heat so she could do it herself. This device is well worth it and I don't have to use any chemicals on my skin. I hope it lasts for many years as my whole family will use this throughout all the seasons.

Very effective and work right after 6 secs. You will feel a bit pain for like 6 sec. however there is no itchiness afterwards. Perfect.

Love, love, love this device! I am always being eaten up by mosquitoes and have to spray my legs after watering my garden or spending any time outdoors. With this device, I can come inside apply this to any bites I got and be on my way without having to spray any chemicals on my skin. This works the first time the majority of the time however, I have found that on some larger bites I do have to apply it 2-3 times making sure I have covered the entire bite area. I have sensitive skin and only use the three second treatment by pushing the button one time. All in all, I love this device so much so that I bought a second device that I keep in my purse for when I am out and about.

I bought this on a whim , it looked interesting but I doubted it worked . I was wrong ! It actually works . My daughter is allergic to almost every insect that bites . This helped prevent swelling. She did say it had a light burning sensation but is well worth it !

Item comes with clear instructions. Beware: the item gets really hot when applying to skin to destroy insect toxins in the body. It takes away itching quickly.

This little device is mighty and gives you a hot sting for 3 seconds or 6 seconds if you’re gangsta :D. Lol. It works. It might shake your kids up a bit at first but after the first time they know what to expect and it’s an easy and quick process. It truly helps to alleviate any scratching and quickly reduces any swelling. My first time I winced like a baby too, but I feel like a pro now. Haha. I truly recommend this for outings anywhere. So Mom’s, get you one or two. Park play dates will never be the same.
