    Wake up light

The Beurer wake up light features a clock radio/alarm with multiple sound options and light that changes color and intensity (either static color or changing). Power and control can be done with the light by holding in the power button for some number of seconds, however I noticed once I paired the app the power button stopped working and it would only work from the app. The app is the easiest way to control and customize the app (timers, colors, brightness, scenes, alarms, radio/presets). The 'mood lighting' settings, as I played with them, did seem to affect how I was feeling, so may prove useful. The radio picks up a number of local/regional stations well and sounds as clear or clearer compare to any other clock radio. Without eyeglasses for me, it can be difficult to read the clock (yes, I don't sleep with my glasses on), so consider that may be a factor for some (a larger, more contrast clock would help with that). While I may not use it every day, I do think this is a good product and recommend it.

    Good Alarm Clock and Light

Getting this product was the first time I've tried a sun rise alarm. For the most part it worked for me. There were a couple times that I was just so tired that I slept through the light and a chunk of the audible alarm. I really liked a couple features on this alarm. The time dims and if you touch the side of the base it will temporarily get brighter so it's easier to read. I'd like it if overall the numbers were bigger so you could see it across the room or with sleepy eyes in bed. Having the light work as a reading light and being dim-able helped out with night time reading. Being able to change the hue and set the mood was good too. When the alarm is going off I like that just touching the top of the clock snoozes the alarm. Having an app to set the alarm up has pros and cons. It makes it so the interface is easier to use. However, I didn't like that I couldn't set all the features up without the phone. It's handy that the clock has a USB charger on the back but it didn't seem to be a fast charger. I would recommend getting this or getting it for someone. Mostly my issue was from a clock perspective it should be easier to read the time.

Review for Beurer - Wake Up Light This wake up light is stylish, light weight, and full of features for an alarm clock. I like the sunrise and sunset simulations for waking and going to sleep, however, the default of 10 minutes, seemed short. I set the wakeup time to 30 minutes. The time display is crisp and clear and you can set the backlight brightness or turn it off. The dual alarms can be set for individual days. In the before times, this was great for work days and weekends, but now it also functions for “in the office” and “working from home.” Almost all of the advanced features need to be set from the connected app, which is thoughtfully designed and easy to use. I especially like the multi-hued mood lighting you can create using the app. After the sunrise simulation time runs out, you can choose from a number of calm, natural soundtracks or a preset radio station. Using a sunrise simulator makes getting up on dark winter mornings *much* easier and less jarring than a traditional alarm clock.

I was excited to try out this Wake up Light. The set up was pretty easy and its easy to use. You do have to download the app to be able to control most of the features of the Wake up Light. I didn't feel a change in my mood neither did it make me feel refreshed in the morning. Its a great night light/ alarm clock but other than that its pretty basic. I love how you can change the color and manage the brightness. The sound to help you sleep are pretty calming and did help me fall asleep in some occasions.

It Actually Works! I Wake Up Feeling Great!!

I honestly almost didn't get the Beurer Wake Up Light. I have often heard about wake up lights and the theory behind them, but I honestly believed they just couldn't work like they said. However, after talking myself into it, I must now say that it has been one of the greatest decisions I have made when it comes to sleeping. The first morning I woke up without the need or desire to hit the snooze. I felt so well-rested. I have to admit that I felt it must have been a psychological thing, but then after the second, third, and every other night since, it has been the same exact story...a great night's sleep, and a great wake up experience. The wake up light comes with a myriad of options to control light and sound. It even has the ability to be a radio, or using blue tooth, play your own music, podcasts, or whatever. The bottom line, however, is that the Beurer Wake Up Light does what it promises...wakes you up refreshed and rested, ready to face another day. This alone makes the wake up light a great and smart investment. But not going into the negative aspects of the wake up light would not be fair to you as you make your decision to invest in the device. There is one, and only one thing I think could be better, and that is the snooze/shut-off button. Because they are the same button, I am never really comfortable with the snooze, as I don't know whether I pressed it too hard or too lightly. Maybe a snooze button on the bottom and the off button on top? But again, this is the sole concern when it comes to the Beurer Wake Up Light. I would (and will) absolutely recommend the wake up light to my friends and family. It is a life-changer.

The Beurer Wake up light is truly a game changer for a peaceful night’s sleep and a pleasant wake-up experience, especially up here in the North where we lose daylight dramatically and quickly as we approach the winter months. The Buerer wake up light gently wakes you up by gradually illuminating to simulate sunrise. There is also a sunset function, though I am not usually in my bedroom during that time so I can’t really speak to the effectiveness of that feature. But the slowly illuminating wake up light is so much more pleasant to wake up to than a harsh beeping iPhone alarm. The clock display is just the right size isn’t bright or distracting late at night. There are so many customizations with this wake-up light, especially via the app Buerer provides. You can wake up to light only, lighting with a music melody (several to choose from), lighting with a radio station. Many options to make your waking up experience so much more pleasant than a beeping alarm in a dark room. Aside from the wake-up function, the Buerer wake up light also can provide mood lighting and many different colors for mood lighting. I did not use the function to directly plug my phone it to the light, but it does have that capability (I use a MagSafe charger). Overall, I give this light an A+ when it comes to features, functionality, and how much it improves the morning wake up experience. It’s actually really quite pleasant to wake up to! I highly recommend it.

    Simple Design!

The Beurer Wake up Light is a simple design, and pairs easily with your phone. The app is super simple - only 4 options for the alarm(and lighting) screen - all easy to navigate for alarm and light options. Menu for radio is really the only extra option you might need to use. Audio is clear, but it does not play very loud so you wouldn't want to use this as a speaker. Alarm has a number of audio/sound options for wake up. However, I have not had any of them go off in the mornings because I wake up quickly with the wake up light! It feels like you're waking up on your own - gentle wake up instead of noisy alarm. Can be set differently for the each day of the week if you want. I don't really like the blue screen for the clock. At its dimmest setting, I can't see the time and if I brighten it, it is too bright to sleep next to. I also noticed that it had to be reconnected/reset after not using it for a few days.

I've always felt like having a little something more than some music could help wake me up and I was correct. I haven't synced this up to my smart homes, I have all three. But at same time I don't feel like I need to. This is one of those products that stands on its own. Wakes me up with a nice little tune of my choosing and brightens up the room. Definitely something you wouldn't mind having if you have blackout curtains like I do. Highly recommend this, most especially if you work nights.

I like the fact that you can set the time in the app. It makes for a smarter clock. The indeglow-like back lit clock display needs to be a bit bigger to be useful as a clock however. Its very nice to wake up to a bright room that simulates a sun rise. The included sounds effects are very well done imo. I like the birds the best. The idea is that the light feature comes on before you even hear the alarm. I get it. It's a gentler way to wake up. Pretty neat.

Packaging and set up was easy and the cord length is good. The light adjustment and intensity settings worked well for evening and morning. The music feature is nice although I don't use it often. I seem to wake up in a better mood and feeling rested. I've only had it a week or so, but so far very satisfied.

The Beuer wake up light is a refreshingly new type of wake-up alarm. Setting the alarm times was easy on both the console and the App. The light show when the alarm is going off is customizable. I enjoyed the change from the standard alarm. I have not overslept since using this system. The app is not easily navigated. I really enjoyed using the wake up light.

I wanted to like this... I set the alarm up physically on the unit and option 1 never went off. I later found out that option 1 is just for Wed or any day of the week. Option 2 is everyday. Who makes an alarm like this? I overslept. Then Day 2 I used the app to program the alarm and then at midnight it went off. I am not sure why when the alarm was set to 6am. I stopped using it from there as an alarm clock. The bed time rest is nice in that it will display a dim color and can play sounds like falling rain for awhile to help you fall asleep. I did not feel any better rested after 5 days of use. I did finally set this on when I woke up with my alarm and did not find the light to make me feel energized. Maybe others will have a better experience.

The Beurer Wake Up Light has changed my morning routine. I was hesitant at first, but after about 2 weeks of use I’m a believer! I’ve gotten better sleep, and have woken up refreshed! I’d definitely recommend using this!
