    Perfect Business Phone

I've been disappointed with touchscreen phone keyboards since I retired my BlackBerry Torch. This phone is a breath of fresh air. It's beautiful, well made, and has a great battery life. The phone feels very responsive and has a lot of intuitive features with the use of the keyboard that I appreciate. It is a beast when it comes to messaging and email. It isn't an iPhone and it isn't a media phablet, but its perfect for business.

    Best keyboard phone, but....

My smartphone experience goes back to 2003, and this is the best physical keyboard I have ever used. But, I'm still not as fast as when I'm on a virtual keyboard. Great battery life, the Blackberry hub is outstanding, and other BB apps are very good. But unless you really need a physical keyboard, there are better Android phones for less money. If you want a PKB, this is as good as it gets.

Not for Everyone, but a Great Phone

This phone fits the bill for exactly what I want in a phone: premium build, good camera, and I don't need the highest specs out there. I use my phone mainly for work which means a lot of calls, emails, and texts so they keyboard is a great bonus. Definitely brings me back to when I used to use a BlackBerry. Due to the keyboard, it isn't for everyone. If you use your phone for a lot of games and media, it obviously isn't for you. But if you use your phone for the same reasons I use it, then you will probably love it.

I must admit I have always been a BB fan. I never did cave into the whole Samsung/Apple craze. However, as a BB fan this model is simply amazing!!!! It is smooth, runs pretty fast, it is comfortable use, the keyboard is like the BB classic and much better than the Priv. Even the price point is decent. I think if people are tired of the same old same old then this phone is for you. I walked into T-Mobile and I got constant compliments on my phone and people were inquistive about, not that does not mean people will rush out and buy one, since you need to buy this outright, except if you are Sprint user.

The BlackBerry KeyOne is fabulous. Full Android operating system and the famous BlackBerry keyboard, as good as ever. Extremely fast processor and you cannot wear down the battery. Everyone who ever said I really miss my BlackBerry...which is every professional over 30 years old....should get this right away!

I enjoy typing on a keyboard. I love the safety and security of a Blackberry and the screen and processor are very impressive too. Very well built, feels sturdy and comfortable in hand! A++

This is a great phone. Full Android OS with BlackBerry's excellent security and privacy enhancements. Very good performance overall and I love having the physical keyboard! Soft keyboards always seem to be laggy, slowing me down because I always have to wait and see if my keystroke "took." But the physical one works perfectly. This is the first phone I've had in a long time that I can honestly say I really like.

    Burned by Blackberry -- again!

Back in 2009, I waited in line to buy the Blackberry Tour 9600. The hardware (specifically the trackball) was so flaky, it rendered an otherwise brilliant smartphone useless. I swore off RIM devices. Nearly a decade later, I broke my vow and got the KEYONE. I'd love to talk about the physical keyboard, the security features, and the overall experience. Except it feels like deja-vu all over again. A rather clever take on Android is spoiled by an underpowered processor and not enough RAM. After a few minutes of pretty moderate use, my KEYONE becomes so unresponsive it's practically useless. At least in the old days one could pull the battery! A few months after my purchase, the KEY2 was introduced that addresses all the gripes I had about the KEYONE. Just like the "Tour 2" did in 2010. Bottom line: For what you'd pay for a sketchy mid-range nostalgic novelty, you can buy any one of a half dozen other flagship-quality handsets. UPDATE: I managed to sideload and replace some basic apps with their Android GO variants to relieve some of the strain on the KEYONE's processor. I also ditched the Blackberry Luncher. Better!

As a Blackberry, it's spot-on -- the keyboard feels great and works really well. But the software is incredibly laggy. Apps would commonly hang on open, and I had to reboot at least once a day to clear some process that wasn't working.

going back to around 2003 BlackBerry was the standard for business phones. It was the physical keyboard that had attorneys investment bankers and other professionals sending emails and while out of the office. Now, 2018, Android operating system, robust security and a physical keyboard - yes BlackBerry is alive and well. The issue facing BB is letting people know they are alive and kicking.

Although I miss the BlackBerry OS, this phone seems pretty good. Any trouble I've had is because I'm adjusting to the Android OS and Google Chrome. Love the physical keyboard and the battery life. The phone charges fast. The ability to insert a micro SD card is a huge plus.
