I really, really like clicky keyboards. This was works great, functions the way it's supposed to. When you plug it in, it will download software from Razer to register and allow customization. I'm not too big on it, so I haven't really messed with it. I would've liked to grab the RBG one, but at the end of the day, I don't stare at my keyboard so I don't think I'd really appreciate the colors flying by. Green is nice, it's not aggressive. If you like mechanical keyboards and either don't mind or really like the clicky sound/feel, this will be good. I also have a keyboard with MX Brown switches, and these offer a little more resistance to the key strokes. Does NOT have a detachable cord, which would've really been nice but it's not common yet. Purchased for I believe around $55 for deal of the day.

Amazing Keyboard but it is very loud but since I use headphones I do not usually hear it but outer then that it is nice feels like input delay easy to use hard to hit wrong keys also a nice green color that be adjusted so that it is brighter or not as bright depending how you like/want it

If you want a Mechanical Keyboard w/some glow without dropping a chunk of change, I would say this is worth it. I got it on sale so even better. If feels great typing and love the green. You can't change the colors on the keyboard and it's wired, but you don't have to worry about batteries so there's that. When you type it is louder than most mechanical keyboards that I've tried. Overall i would say this is a good buy.

Keyboard is good but you cannot change the color on it and it is very loud.the software sucks Though.Software did not work after day one that’s not the only problem with it it’s just sucks

I do not use for gaming but I like it because it is heavy and does not move around. I also like the background lighting.

I bought it because of excellent reputation of Razor. I was not disappointed I keep my office area semi-dark so the illuminated green light is perfect on the black keys fantastic! Best Buy one-day sale price was the final motivation,

Very nice mechanical keyboard if you can get it on sale. Looks nice and feels great to the touch. Kids use it regularly and are converted to mechanicals.

got this on a deal of the day and i couldn't be happier with it - sure it dont have rgb but thats ok

Great keyboard with cherry alternative switches. To me they feel like my cherry Mx browns. Great build quality. Only con is the default lighting pattern is breathing and the back light is green only, no RGB.

This is a great keyboard for gaming. My son has used it for a long time and now I have it in the office and I love it.

This is my second mechanical keyboard. I already had BlackWidow, but not "Essential" version. I found that this one is much cheaper and has clicky keyboard. I do not know exactly what's the difference between this "Essential" one and the other BlackWidow wired with green switch, except color LED in the latter. But basically it looks like the same with green switch. I recommend it if you are looking for clicky keyboard but not interested in color LED (I just turn it off) They say that I need to install their program to control the keyboard, but I can use it without the program and turn LED off from Fn key.

I love the sound and the feel. Im still trying to figure it completely.

Very responsive. Love the backlit keys, makes it easier to see in dimly lit room.

Hardware meets expectations. Features and software very disappointing, that’s with 2 stars. Razer support hasn’t responded in eight days. This model even show up in Razer support inventory. I purchased this keyboard for the back lighting as much as for the hardware. Keyboard itself is great. Razer’s software to change the green back lighting from the heartbeat glow to a steady glow isn’t playing nice with my windows 10 pro. Yes, I set up a Razer account.

Loving it for the price. You have to keep its program open to stop the light from breathing setting. It has two different height settings for stand/clips on bottom. Feels real responsive. Keys are super loud according to the woman rofl.

Arrived on time and set was a piece of cake. Should of got this keyboard sooner.

This is a great keyboard easy to work with has a nice green color to it unfortunately it didn’t work out so well

We have not opened this yet as it is a Christmas present for our son, we purchased it because he loves my keyboard. I love mine and it is several years old. Both my kids love the "old School" feel and click that the keys have, it has a nice solid feel to it and types great!!

I purchased this for my work laptop, the default setting is breathe which is the lights pulse on and off. I could not change this without installing software. I am unable to install software on my corporate laptop so this had to be returned. Too bad.. I really liked it.
