Able to record most things online, issues with netflix

Worst product I ever bought. Complex, does not work on Windows 10, will not accept Edge, Customer Service immediate Chat is a returned email in three days. Customer service is practically nil. Don't buy!!!!

I like the software but considering the ease of use of other 123 products, which I have used since inception and "before lawsuit". It works. I would like to have seen it work more similarly to other 123 products. However, it is one of the few programs I have seen able to do all of this!

I have wanted this for awhile. My desktop did not come with a recorder installed as the previous one did.

This product fails to meet expectations. It does not download videos properly from the websites it claims to work on. I get better results from the free software that I use. downloads multiple copies of the same music and video files instead of just one. I do not recommend this product at all.

I use this for simple video editing. User friendly and does what it says.

I am a railfan and watch lots of railroad videos on youtube.com. With this software, I can save some of my favorite videos.

Tried it on a youtube video just for fun. Worked. Haven't tried it on anything else and was worth the extra money on my build.

Program was easy to set up and use. The program did what I wanted it to do.

We had a very old program - "Internet Radio Recorder" which worked quite well. But since we just got a new pc with Windows 8.1, we figured it would be a good time to get some newer software. What a mistake. Stream, Rip & Record was very difficult to install. Once we got it installed, I had to enter a 25 digit registration code no less than 6 times. I thought that was the worst of it, and we could now enjoy our new toy. As bad as installing it was, it's even worse trying to figure out how to use it. Eventually I found a "user guide", which didn't help at all. You're supposed to be able to record any streaming media - video or audio. I really only wanted to be able to record music from internet radio stations - which should be the easiest of all the things this software is supposed to do. Words like "easy" and "you are only one click away from saving MP3's" are all over the packaging. They imply anyone can do this. Here's a passage from the guide: "select from the internet monitor or winpcap as the network driver. Use the internet monitor if you are capturing over a VPN or Proxy. Enter ports to be monitored and their expected protocols." Or how about where it detected that my PC has an UEFI Bios with SecureBoot enabled. "audio recording module may request that SecureBoot is disabled to function properly. Refer to the online guide for this product for instructions on how to disable SecureBoot in the bios." So apparently I might have to change a bios setting to get this to work. Oh, and the web site they give for the online guide lost that domain name, so it took a little more searching to find it. Since I can't figure out how to use this stupid program, I don't know if I'd have to change the bios setting, but every time I boot up my pc, I now get a notice of a bios error. Thanks a lot. I'm going to uninstall it and try not to think about the money I just lost. I don't recommend this software unless you're very very tech savy.

The words use as "ANY" are true but very misleading. First off the program only records YouTube which is a huge plus however "ANYTHING" else you have to use their screen capture tool. This tool is offered when it lets you know "Sorry you can't download that because it is illegal, but here is a screen capture tool". So technically, yes, you can "download" Hulu and Netflix but with a screen cap tool which is intrusive because if you move your mouse over the window that is also recorded and that leaves you without a computer until it is finished.

You're better of lighting a match to $50. Unusable software, comes with equally clunky junkware. Installs software that thinks it owns your computer. Detects MS SecureBoot on your computer and wants you to go into BIOS to disable it. GTFO. Cumbersome installation, trips multiple virus detection alerts ... which means it acts like a virus or malware. Hey. Walk like a duck, talk like a duck. Like other products from 123 / Bling, this is just unusable. And of course Best Buy won't return or exchange opened software. Understandable but that policy just enables shoddy products like this. Unbelievably poor software.

Aloha, I am giving this product a review because someone gave it a bad review and, but I needed exactly what it did so I figured I could just return it if it didn't do what I needed it do. After trying it so I could have streams of meditation in remote areas it worked fine. I didn't really find it hard to use, I mean I suppose some people could but I thought it easy. It does what it says it does. Mahalo, T
