At 1/4 th the cost of a new compatible phone. Forget the hype and brainwash ...its is worth every penny...have couple in use and working great...

I have had a Motorola flip phone(still have it) for 7 years. At age 45, it was my first cell phone. Have T-mobile prepaid(1000 minutes/$112 a yr-I have NEVER used more than 450 minutes each year, bal rolls over). Was looking for an inexpensive UNLOCKED smartphone, with decent specs. Researched for a few weeks, then took the plunge, and bought the BLU Studio 5.0 HD LTE @ BB for $165, tax included. It ain't a iphone 6 or a Samsung G6, but neither is the price. The B-S-HD-5-LTE has a 5inch display(bigger than I was looking for), 8gb hd/1gb ram, base Android 4.4-KitKat os-no real bloatware, removable battery, removable micro sim card slot, removable 32 gb micro sd card, 13mp bkcam-5 mp ftcam. Let me say, I am NOT a constant phone user! When I am at home, I turn it off. MOST of the time, I forget to turn it on when I leave the house, so battery usage isn't a big deal for me. I was just looking for a phone, w/a decent camera, all in one. For the most part, I think, it does what I was looking for. Being used to a flip phone-the size was an adjustment, no biggie though. Takes about 43 seconds to power up to main screen, kinda slow-again, no biggie. The visuals were good, clear, and sharp. I think it has a 720p display which is fine for such a small screen. The back plastic cover is flimsy, so use and/or buy a hard shell cover for more protection. I have it almost 4 weeks, so far so good! The B-S-HD-5-LTE smartphone does exactly what I was looking for!

After researching both iphones and androids, I had pretty much decided that I would go with an android phone. I was still unsure which one I would be purchasing, and with some time to spare one day I walked into Best Buy in Sacramento just to look. The three things that sold me on this phone were it's size, price and the fact that it is an unlocked phone. I really knew very little about Smart phones, but I did know to ask the right questions and the woman who assisted me was not only knowledgeable but also intuitive about what phone would best serve my wishes. As I said, I went into the store with the intention of looking ... and I walked out with a Blu Studio 5.0 HD LTE. After several weeks, I am totally pleased with my purchase, and continually discovering new ways to use it. BLU was a new company to me, however I believe that they have an excellent product at a very equtable price.

I have had this phone for over a month and very happy. The 13mp camera takes great photos and the resolution on the big 5" screen is awesome. Installed a 32gb sd card for $13. After being Apple user for years there was a learning curve going to android but I would not go back. No 4G LTE with AT&T but still pretty fast. I was tired of spending $700.00 or more on a new Iphone when it was time to upgrade. If you crunch the numbers on what you are paying with those AT&T Next plans or 2 year agreements, it's $700 + for a new Iphone. This Blue phone does everything my Iphone did and more for $145.00 with no more contracts.

The features are good .. camera, screen sensitivity are OK .. But at this price, phone is good :) :)

Good phone for the money and I own it with no contract to sign that is a plus right there. But no it really it is a nice phone it came with a screen protector and a case and works just like my Samsung just with a better battery

It works great, pretty fast compared to the big name phones, and super affordable. It has the right price for its performance. It might be a little slow when saving photos, but nothing too concerning.

The phone is awesome just wish I could afford the insurance protection. It cost more than the phone. I used to get the protection plans for about $14 for two years. Now it was $168. That's ridiculous for Best Buy to be such a big company. But the next phone I buy will come from somewhere else with better protection pricing. I would have given a five star.

Purchased three of these and all worked perfectly right out of the box. No issues of any kind. Every bit as good as major brands costing four times more. Comes with a case and screen protector already installed. Additional cases and accessories available through Amazon. Found no other source. The only negative to report is the back cover is rather flimsy so use care when removing or reinstalling it. Recommend using only high speed SD cards. At this time, not upgradable to Lollipop 5.

I"m still figuring out all the tools and features, but so far it seems to be fine. But instead of paying $600-plus, it was under $200 (with expanded memory).

I purchased this phone after my IPhone 4S fell sick. After extensive research on unlocked LTE phones, I settled on the BLU Studio 5.0 HD LTE. It is a brilliant phone with great features. The screen is great and has very good resolution. It is much more user friendly than my IPhone. Battery life is good. I would definitely recommend this phone.

Came with earbuds, case, and screen protector. Not quite as advanced as newer models but still a great phone. The cameras are great.

I have had some problems with it coming out of sleep mode to where a reboot is necessary. Battery life is very good though.

The size and weight of the phone are perfect for me. I'm still learning how to use all the features but what I'm using I like.

Its a very complete telephone and inexpresive I definitely would recomend it.

If your looking for a good unlocked phone at a great price check this one out. It works good had a nice camera in back and supports SD cards. It comes with some nice bonuses to like a phone case. And screen protector preinstalled.

very good android unit, far better than a windows cell phone. Best buy does not seem to have aftermarket protective cases available for the Blu.

It's a great phone. It's unlocked and has the basic functions needed. The only downside to this is that it eats up battery fast.

seems to have all the features i will ever use . i really like the microphone on the keypad..dictate my emails and texts . awsome camera front and back
