Bought it couple of years ago when covid started. Still works great.

This is our second Blue Pure 121, and third Blue Pure (3rd being a smaller for a small room). Performance: This does amazing job of purifying the air. We run it at different speeds at different times: Speed 3: when we vacuum, or have had doors opened more frequently than usual, or if we feel under the weather. Speed 2: at night (in the bedroom) Speed 1: just relaxing. Noise level: Speed 1 is super quiet. 2 is also quiet just not as much. Speed 3 you can hear it. Even at 3 it's quieter than our IQAir HealthPro Plus. We love IQAir HealthPro also - another great purifier, which has more features (for scheduling, alerts, display, wheels, etc.). But that one runs double or more than double the cost of Pure 121. That's when we needed one more we bought another Pure 121 - great value for your money. The only thing we don't like about this one is that you have lift it from the bottom. So, if your age or health condition limits you to bend enough to lift it from bottom, do not buy this - or figure out a way to have a trolley for it. All in all - a great purifier.

My older BlueAir was a larger unit, all metal, about the same capacity at about TWICE THE PRICE! So when it died I got this one, it is a better design. The old design had air flowing into the unit (with cat hairs) from BOTTOM of unit, depositing crud on fan blades and electric wires. Poor design. THIS ONE DOESN'T DO THAT, air enters from all 4 sides and THIS ONE comes with stretchable initial cloth filter that goes around the unit to catch the big stuff, like cat hair. Two months in, that black initial fabric is grey with cat hair ( i have to wash it), all of that stuff would have gone into the expensive filter shortening its life. I'm happy! You get a spare filter, too, to put on while you wash the dirty one. OH! And this one comes with a charcoal filter when you buy it and it really works on cigarette smoke! I'm very, very happy with the design improvements. It's not very heavy, but having it on casters would be nice to roll it around.

Can’t believe what a difference it made. Helps reduces smells, collects so much dust in the air. It has a quite mode. Just really neat and slim.

The Blueair - Blue Pure 121 620 Sq. Ft. Air Purifier is as good as advertised. It is efficient at cleaning the air and runs almost silently at the low or all-day setting.

This air purifier is great. Simple to set up and works great. The outer filter is a skin that you pull over the wire mesh case to catch the large items. Three levels of fan speed with the lowest one being near silent. The higher ones can make it difficult to hear the TV and we have to put the sound a little higher but works great. Noticed less dust around house and allergens seem sparse.

Had it over a year now. I have birds and it works great.

Amazing change the air I’m my house dramatically. Highly recommended. My allergies gone.

BlueAir has many wonderful products. I greatly appreciate how simple set up is; just plug it in.

Purchased in the first half of 2021 and has been cranking ever since. I can see that it’s trapping dust from the outer “fabric pre-filter” that I have to wash every so often. Perfectly happy with noise level. Potential con is that the on/off button it easy to use (touch) with backlight in the front of the unit… 4yr old son can’t help but play with it turning it off and on.

Excellent product, works as expected, very satisfied.

Best purifier money can buy! No need to buy anything else.

I've bought a few different air purifiers and none can compare to this beast of an air purifier. I've searched around for a good few months before purchasing this. This has a CADR rating of 400 for each of pollen, dust, and smoke. To put this into perspective, the highest ratings that can be given are 450 CADR for smoke, 400 CADR for dust, and 450 for pollen. Those numbers are given to hospital quality air systems. Now, obviously CADR ratings aren't everything about a purifier. CADR only shows how much air the purifier can filter out. For example the square footage for a 400 CADR rating should be the same regardless of the purifier. Another thing that makes this air purifier stand out is it's 360 degree air intake system. This is highly effective for all around purification. It doesn't just take in air from one side of the purifier as most others do. This also is what allows the purifier to run quietly since it takes in air from all sides (it doesn't have to run at a high rate to get all the air in). The filter itself is highly effective. I have this in the basement and overtime the amount of dust that collects on surfaces have decreased by an extreme amount. It almost seems like I hired a maid that dusts the place on a daily basis. Overall, I would highly recommend this based on all of the factors above, as well as the fact that this is also highly energy efficient as it uses only 60 watts. It basically uses the same wattage as one light bulb. I plan on buying more if I ever get a bigger house. This is 100% worth the money.
