Overall it's a great dish washer at a good price from Best Buy. Not very enthused with having to use a rinse cycle agent, but it does work well. Dishes are streak free. You can barely hear it running, and the sanitizer cycle gives a good piece of mind.

    Dishwasher meets expectations well

This dishwasher is, so far, meeting our expectations well. We didn't realize how much smaller it was than our previous one, however, until it was installed and we started using it. It seems reasonably easy to operate, runs very quietly, and cleans better than did our previous washer. We especially like the 'rim' built around the drain to catch the bigger particles before they go down the drain so they be quickly and easily cleaned out before they go through and start clogging drainlines. The contractor/team that installed it were also very professional and efficient and did a very satisfactory job installing it. The only criticism we may have is that we do not like the location of the siverware rack and the fact that the rack dividers and 'fingers' (for want of a better word) are already starting to warp and lose their shape. That shouldn't be happening so quickly in a new dishwasher that was supposedly made of better quality and materials inside and out. The bottom rack also has a tendency to slide right on out of the washer and is difficult to get lined back up and back in place. Minor points, but noticeable and slightly irritating over time.

The dishwasher works well. It cleans dishes and is extremely quiet. The rack design is different and takes getting used to, but ultimately works. The fact that there is no heated dry is not a problem. The dishes are pretty much dry after the normal wash cycle. Use of the sanitizing cycle provides more than enough heat to dry completely. The controls are a little more complex than necessary, but again, they ultimately work.

Fit into cabinet without any modifications, love how quiet it is, cleans well. My bowls don't fit too well in the rack but will figure it out in time. Also, says you should use rinse aid to get the best out of the cleaning...that wasn't obvious before i bought it and also says to run your hot water in you sink before you run the machine...that also seems odd. Filling the rinse aid isn't too intuitive, easy to over fill and if you do, it leaves black crud on the dishes. All part of the learning curve. Manual isn't that helpful. I'm sure I'll completely love it once I learn the details of how to run it.

After years of not having a dishwasher and moving into a house with an ancient one, getting this new one has been great. It runs very quietly, is easy to operate, fits lots of dishes in, and the dishes always come out sparkly clean. The only problem I have had with it is that in less than two weeks the latch on the door broke. It was fixed under warranty and we are hoping that the latch issue was a one time thing.

We needed a new dishwasher quick as our old Maytag bit the dust. Found this one on Best Buy's open box. Quite surprised how quiet it is compared to our old one. Not to mention how good a job it does. I'm not too crazy about the racks, but can live with it. The door has more spring tension on it than needed. But, those are the only two things that I don't like. Both small inconveniences.

This was my first appliance from Best Buy. Super happy with this dishwasher as it is so quiet that I didn't know it was on. My dishes look great. Best Buy installed it as well. Great customer service.

This is an excellent dishwasher, quality at a terrific price. I love the stainless steel interior and that the heating element is not visible. Don't have to worry about anything plastic falling to the bottom and melting. It is very quiet - most of the time I don't even hear it running. My mother has a Bosch and recommended the brand to me. I'm so happy she did. When my old dishwasher went kaput, Best Buy happened to have a great sale on this Bosch unit, installation, 18 months same as cash...and they took my old dishwasher away. The timing and value couldn't have been better. The guys who delivered and installed it were courteous and gave me some great pointers. In all the years I've had dishwashers, until they told me, no one had ever advised me to run the kitchen sink faucet until the water is hot before turning the dishwasher on. Seems like a simple idea, but no one else I've talked with had ever been told that either. Their advice was terrific. Hot water really helps the dishwasher soap to dissolve and the dishes come out sparkling. Like they said, you wouldn't jump directly into a shower before heating the water and it is the same principle with dishwashers. Hot water to begin with = better cleaning results. The only thing I would say could be improved is the capacity. It seems smaller than other dishwashers I've used; but then again, I'm still figuring out the best way to arrange things inside. Overall, I highly recommend this unit.

Stainless interior helps to keep the inside clean. Dishwasher runs very quietly, holds a decent amount of dishes and cleans well. Can adjust the timing of the wash cycle (normal, heavy, etc) and sanitizes. Would be great if the bottom rack folded down to accomodate large pots but the fac that there is no wash stem in the middle of the bottom rack makes it easier to load large items.

This, our first Bosch appliance, replacing a rusted-out 14-year-old KitchenAid. Although the new one is super quiet and does get the dishes clean, it also makes us miss some of the previous unit's useful features, such as a progress indicator (at least wash and dry, preferably more detail) and a rinse-and-hold and other cycle options. Also, the KitchenAid's lower rack wheel and tracking system was superior -- it is far too easy to derail the Bosch lower rack when sliding it in or out. Other reviews have noted an odor from the standing water at the bottom of the unit, and this is starting to become a minor annoyance for us, as well. The soap dish is pretty flimsy -- ours hasn't failed yet, but I treat it very gingerly.

I have had this dishwasher for about 4 weeks. I am satisfied that I got a good deal. It washes dishes really clean; has a sanitize option; and holds a good # of dishes. Since I am single, I don't have lots of plates to wash - mostly bowls, pots and pans; cups and silverware. It does accommodate different sized containers. Like I said, its good. The only reason it didn't get 5 stars is because the slots for dishes are very close and salad bowls don't seem to leave enough space in between them. However, all dishes get really clean, and there is plenty of room for silverware.

In order to get dry dishes you must use the sanitize button (so why have it??? doesn't everybody want dry dishes from the dishwasher???). Also, won't run if you don't have rinse aid in it. The rack set up inside is a bit different and must get used to it. It does run quietly, though sometimes too quite where we don't realize it didn't start its cycle after pushing the button to run it (because of no rinse aid or not being fully closed). Issues with the delivery/install.....Not clear on the site that the free delivery/install offer didn't apply to the install of dishwashers! Also, there was no info given on-line that a separate company had to be contacted to set up install after Best buy delivered it (or that install was not included). Then, even though the dimensions were correct, their were issues with the install for drainage pipe and counter top....had to pay more. sigh..... At least it does work and gets the dishes clean.

Cleans anything you throw at it and is super quiet. Had one in my old house and now I've realized why my dishwasher here wasn't up to par. This thing cleans great and has a good amount of room to fit a lot in it. Great machine.

Wow! Where do I start? Just an excellent dishwasher. We THOUGHT our dishes were getting clean in our old dishwasher until we opened the door and saw how clean the Bosch got them. It is so quiet, you have to put your ear to the door to hear it. The controls are a bit confusing but you get the hang of it pretty quickly. As for the complaints about the dishes being all wet? We haven't seen it. We followed the suggested settings and used the rinse agent (very important!) and they come out dry every time. If reliability is good, you just can't get any better than this and the price was fantastic.

This dishwasher is easy to use, it runs quiet and does a real good job of cleaning the dishes. We don't have to practically wash the dishes first to get clean dishes. Best Buy did a great installation.

I replaced a 6 year old Maytag dishwasher with the Bosch Ascenta expecting a similar performing model as the price paid at time of purchase was about the same. I have been overwhelmingly impressed with the Bosch, as it's extremely quiet and does an outstanding job of cleaning every dish the first time through the dishwasher with no pre-rinsing prior to loading the dishwasher. This model has few bells and whistles and takes some exploration in determining the best way to load it, but is an outstanding model for the price.

We needed to replace a newer Maytag dishwasher because the control panel failed in less than 2 years. This Bosch appeared to be a better product. The price was comparable so why not try it. Maytags simply do not last very long at least not with the water I have. Installation was easy but it used old school connections. It came with pretty much everything you need to install except a water line. Installation instructions were good. That was the easy part. The operation maybe not so much. The racks are a little difficult to load space wise but then I am used to a different unit. The control panel is not very user friendly and it seems to have a lot of features but I can't figure them out. The lights continually flash on the front or really never go away even after use unless you turn the power switch off. Maybe this is what you are supposed to do but it is not very intuitive. However it runs pretty quietly and seems to do a good job of cleaning. I just don't know what setting to use for sure. After the cycle there is always a little water on top of the dishes like it never totally dried them. Again maybe I am not doing something on the control panel. All in all it seems to be pretty good dish washer but not worthy of 5 stars because of the control panel but then I grade pretty tough. I will give it a 3. It's very good but not great and I have never had a 5 star anything. Nothing is perfect.

This dishwasher is amazing!!! It is quiet and the dishes are sparkling clean and dry every time! Service and installation were top notch. We are very happy with this dishwasher! Our old "new" GE dishwasher leaked (it took three service warranty visits to correct), left dishes cloudy and wet, even at top settings, with recommended soaps, rinse agents and high water temperature. Then It developed a sour smell and then stopped filling -- we had it only 13 months. We are glad we decided to dump the GE and purchase our new Bosch dishwasher! It is like night and a bright sunny day!
