I love these speakers. I have my music on FLAC files on my computer, ripped from CDs in my collection. The FLAC files are CD quality and these speakers pick up instruments and vocals that I would not hear with a regular pair of computer speakers. I do not feel the need for a subwoofer, great sound quality. I also like that I can control the volume with the knob on the front rather than have to play with the icon on the screen or push buttons. I am very happy with the speakers, highly recommend.

Awesome speakers! I play various genre of music and this little baby can handle it all! With the current price tag this pair is value for money! Definitely an upgrade over factory speakers and performs at a superior level with deeper bass and significant amount of power to handle all streaming and CD music with no hassle!

Definitely part of the Bose family of great sounds! Big sound from little speakers. Very user friendly, easy hookup & then one knob for on & volume. I’m using these instead of an electric guitar amp with my line6 pod & Fender strat. as recommended from another user. I can play anytime without disturbing the neighbors....or turn it up!

Clear sounds. Loud enough. Plug and plays easily. Decent size.

I use a standing desk and was looking for something that had a small footprint, as few cables as possible, and sounded really good. I replaced my aging Logitech Speakers and Sub as the cable would occasionally snag while the desk was rising or lowering. They sound great and the bass is powerful enough to occasionally vibrate my entire standing desk. This was a great purchase.

These compact speakers will make you look twice, they sure pack a punch in a small package, I was watching a movie with a friend on my monitor with these speakers hooked up and my buddy was looking everywhere for a sound bar and sub and I had to tell him it was these little speakers on my shelf belting out all that bass and great sound effects. Bose never disappoints

This is a great system if you're looking for great sound and a system that doesn't take up a lot of space. I use this system with my Mac Mini and it works and sounds great. You can really crank it up if you want to and not lose clarity. For not having a sub-woofer, it still projects great bass.

The Bose Companion 2 is one of the most affordable and best sounding speakers for the quality. Bose never fails with their amazing sound quality. The money spent equals the value on this purchase. Has good bass as well without a subwoofer. Very easy to set up.

I use these as speakers for my mini Retropie arcade cabinet. They sound awesome for what I use them for. Very loud and vibrant sound with plenty of bass. I'm not sure how they would sound in big open rooms but for smaller enclosed areas they sound great.

These computer speakers have good sound quality, were easy to install, and were reasonably priced.

They sounded a bit flat out of the box but the sound can be tailored somewhat using whatever graphic equalizer is included in your computer software. No Bluetooth capability. No light on the front to indicate that the speakers are on. Overall I’m pleased with them because they don’t take up much space and they sound better than the computer’s built in speakers.

Great sounding speakers. The bass is just enough not to over power the treble. The only negative is the pc speaker wire is on the shorter side. Should be about 2 feet longer.

My old Logitech speakers with sub-woofer had started to make strange noises so I decided to buy new speakers to replace them. This Bose set received excellent reviews, so I chose them. The sound from these speakers is excellent. Very clean and crisp. Although there is no sub-woofer, I don't miss it. I didn't realize how much ambient noise my old Logitech speakers had begun to make. At first, I didn't think these were working as there was dead silence. Then I played a random video and could hear they were working just fine. My only issue, as many others have said, is that they come with a short 4' cord to go from the right speaker to the CPU. I called customer support and they sent me a 6' cord at no charge. I'm not sure why they give you a 6' cord to go from the left to the right speaker, but only a 4' cord to run to the CPU. Anyway, we've always been pleased with Bose speakers and these are no exception. Would purchase again.

Purchased these speakers for my office. They work great, they sound great and they are in a space saving design. I looked at several speakers and these are better than 75% of th speakers out there. If you are in need of a good set of speakers, reasonably priced and do not plan on playing at max volume these are an excellent deal and sound great!

We love these speakers! The sound is great, they are compact and easy to hook up. This is the the second pair we have purchased. Also, we appreciated the friendly help we received at the store. Most audio brands completely ignore desktop speakers. By contrast, BOSE checks every box and looks good doing it. Accepts two audio sources via 3.5mm cable, built-in volume control, and pitched design to target audio toward user. Great for gaming, content creation, and general-use. Ignore alternatives trying to hype up RGB lighting or built-in Bluetooth; you can add a bluetooth or AirPlay dongle to one of the 3.5mm jacks if you need that functionality.

I needed some speakers that didn't drain my laptop battery by using Bluetooth, were compact, had adequate volume, and sounded great. As usual, Bose didn't disappoint in the tone department. And these speakers had all the other features I was looking for. Also, a great price for something with the Bose name on it. If your needs are like mine, you can't go wrong with these units. They sound great!

I am using these speakers for a small office. I've hooked the to my PC. For this purpose, which is all I can really tell you about, these speakers are perfect. I love how I can easily adjust the volume. I love how they sound. They were easy to install, I did it myself. The price is reasonable for a Bose product.

These are great PC or Laptop speakers. Does the job well. Great sounds for a compact set, which is bose is known for. Value is good for a set of bose speakers. Easy plug and play set up. Would recommend these if space is a problem in your desk.
